Alison Quick has done a lot of things: written record breaking albums, played at sold out stadiums, written countless love songs, won award after award, and been on the cover of several magazines. But there's one big thing she hasn't done: been in love.

Archer Stiles has always dreamed of a career in music. As a joke, he writes songs in response to Alison Quick's for her biggest fan, his sister Juliet. When one of his songs goes viral, his life is completely flipped upside down. Alison's manager invites him to go on tour with her. There's only one problem. Alison hates him. He knows that his departure from the tour is inevitable, so he recruits Alison's best friend Willow to help him stay on her good side.

As Alison and Archer spend more time together, they quickly realize those feelings of hate and loathing may be something else entirely. As their relationship grows, it seems too good to be true. Especially because Alison is hiding something from Archer. She decides that she either needs to let Archer completely in at the risk of rejection or call things off before he can hurt her.
