Now we’re a family, and we’re going to stay that way.

We won the war, we came out stronger on the other side. But some wounds take a long time to heal. Others may never fully vanish, but scar tissue can form and knit the injuries closed.

Building a life together means changes, and sacrifices. It means taking risks. It means flying again.

It’s everything…

We’ve fought for each other, we’ve bled, and we’ve killed. We’d do it all over again. No questions.

There are some battles we still have left to fight.

I plan to make sure we win those too.
