Zoey’s life is proof that everything can change in an instant. The profession she’d worked so hard to join and the plans she had dreamed of for so long crumbled during a routine traffic stop that turned into a high-speed chase and ended with an attack that changed the course of her entire life.

After a few stumbles and one or two major falls, Zoey finally finds something that can take her mind off of everything she’s lost and give her something to wake up for every day. Helping others was her goal while she was in law enforcement, but since that career goal was dashed, she’s finally found another one that will be just as rewarding and a lot more fun.
