Detective Hydessa Darling has grown up following in her mother's footsteps, always feeling like she is in the shadows of those around her. Her mother is infamous for her affinity for murderers and their victims, and she didn't raise her daughters with delusions of how the world truly is.

When Hydessa stumbles across a blog describing what could only be a series of murders she feels drawn to investigate them. But when the identity of the blogger evades them she must travel undercover to a tourist island hotspot to find out the truth behind the blog and catch the mystery killer.

Not everything is what it seems and soon Hydessa is entangled in her own dangerous game.
