Some days, Rider is a terrible boss. Other days, he's a dream. Either way, he's completely off limits.

After a long and successful hockey career, Rider moved on to take over the general manager position of a professional hockey team. It's not exactly the cozy job he hoped it would be. In fact, he might be out on his butt soon if he can't win a championship. But the job still has its perks—like a sassy personal assistant who couldn't be deeper beneath Rider's skin.

Rider is rich, spoiled, and maddening. The guy is barely human. He drives Ben insane with his arrogant ways. Despite all those things, Ben has no desire to be anywhere else. His long working hours are the happiest of his day. The fire between them seems like so much more than friction. They have a spark. Zero good can come of a workplace romance, especially when Rider has nothing to gain, and Ben has everything to lose.
