26. I can’t

Artemis’s pov

I’ve been searching forever and I could find my weapons!

“What are you doing here!?” I heard an angry voice said behind me.

I turned around and saw one of the guys that helped kidnap me.

I tackled him to the ground and held my knife at his throat.

“My weapons?” I stretched out the sentence.

“I’m not telling you anything, bitch!” He yelled.

“I’m sorry did it look like I was asking or do I have to repeat myself?” I pulled the knife closer to his neck.

His eyes widened. “Ok, they’re at the end of the cells. Past the torture chamber.”

“Good dog.”

I removed the knife from his throat and punched his face. He fell unconscious.

That’s right! I can knock some on out with one punch.

It’s times like these that I feel like Batman.

I followed his directions until I reached a sign that said “Torture Chamber.”

I past the room. Luckily I heard no screams. I entered a room that was marked “do not enter” and I found my weapons inside.

Once again it pays off to break the rules.

I grabbed all my stuff and headed towards the exit.

Oddly enough I didn’t run into anybody. I finally found an exit.

The giant ball of fire in the sky nearly blinded me.

Stupid sun.

I blinked a few times to adjust to the light.

I started walking in a random direction. Luckily the forest was right in front of the wear house. So I could easily find my way back.

‘Blake I’m in the forest again. Where are you?’ I mind linked Blake.

I got no answer.

‘Dammit Blake you’re scaring me. Answer!’ I yelled.

Silence.

Something in the distance caught my eye. Another note in the tree.

I picked it up with caution.

Is someone missing their big bad alpha? I kidnapped you so I could get to that little boy toy of yours. Don’t worry about him. He’s not alone. He’s got everyone with him, your grandparents, his third in command, beta, their mates, and some of your warriors and trackers. Don’t bother trying to find them or I kill them.

I started to panic.

‘Blake? Blake!? Blake answer me!’ I let the tears fall down onto my face.

It’s all my fault.

I have to find a way to get them back.

But I can’t.

I’ll just make things worse.

‘Find them!’ Elise yelled.

‘I can’t. He will kill them.’

‘You killed Logan before. You can kill him again.’

‘Elise I can’t.’

‘Then I will!’ She growled before fighting me for control.

I sharp pain erupted in my head as she fought me.

I put both of my hands on my head.

‘Elise! Stop!’ I yelled.

‘No! I have to save my mate!’ She growled.

I slowly felt my eyes shifting from one color from another as we fought.

I felt my eyes change color completely.

Elise was in control.

I can’t stop her.

Blake’s POV

I woke up to an empty bed.

I looked to the bathroom. It was empty.

“Artemis?” I called out to the room.

‘She’s probably downstairs.’ Gavin thought.

I quickly got dressed and headed to the kitchen.

The only person that was there was Xander.

“Have you seen Artemis?” I ask.

He turned around to look at me. “No.”

I kept a confused look on my face as I went back upstairs to mine and Artemis’s room.

I began to get worried.

Maybe she left a note.

I looked all around the room. No note.

Where is she!?

Something caught my eye in the corner of the closet.

It was letters from Logan. I growled as I read them.

Of course Artemis would go and get her grandparents!

Shes too hard headed and stubborn to let him go.

‘The Luna is missing I was my best trackers to try and find her scent!’ I mind linked my warriors and trackers.

‘Artemis!? Are you ok?’ I tried to mind link her.

No answer.

I growled and punched the wall.

If he touches her I’m killing him on the spot.

‘Blake? Hello?’ I heard Artemis voice in my head.

‘Artemis where are you!? I have been worried sick. Tell me where you are so I can come and get you.’ I yelled.

‘Calm down! Logan kidnapped my grandparents so I turned myself over to him. I’m in Johnson’s warehouse.’

‘Which one? There are over 50 wear houses!’

‘An abandoned one. I don’t know exactly which one but that’s all I know.’

There’s only two abandoned ones. Finding her should be easy.

‘Ok I’m coming for you. Stay there.’ I commanded.

‘Well it’s not like I can just walk out the front door!’

I ignored her sarcastic little comment and blocked her out.

‘Even kidnapped she can turn me on with her sarcasm.’ Gavin swooned.

‘Not the time, Gavin.’ I scowled.

I gathered up all of my trackers and worriers and headed to one of the abandoned wear houses.

We caught a small wife of her scent in the woods but vanished.

We got to one of the wear houses.

I smelled her scent here. It was stronger than it was in woods.

I was about to take a step closer to it but a man stopped me with a smirk on his face.

I growled. “Where’s my mate, Logan!”

“Relax asshat. She’s fine. Safely inside. Sadly.”

I growled. “What is your problem with her!? Why did you take her!?”

“She killed my wolf! Why do you think I took her!? I’m going to take away everything she loves.” He yelled.

“You lied to her. I am going to kill you for touching her!”

“I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon.” He smirked before snapping his fingers.

I heard small noises. I saw everyone behind me getting dizzy and holding rubbing their necks.

After a few seconds they started collapsing to the ground.

I had a confused look on my face before I felt a sharp pain on the side on my neck.

I groaned. I felt something sticking out of my neck. I pulled it out and stared at my blood, on my fingers, as my vision blurred.

It was a dart with wolfsbane in it. I tossed the dart, in a random direction, angrily.

I glared at Logan who was smirking as I started to see three of him.

I started getting dizzy and loosing my balance but I refused to colapse.

I stood my ground as I stumbled backwards a bit.

Logan snapped his fingers again before I felt more sharp pains in my neck in different areas.

I finally collapse on the floor and glared at logan with pure hatred.

He seemed amused at my reaction towards him.

He was enjoying seeing me in pain.

I walked over to me and kicked my face.

I blurred my vision more. I looked back at him until he kicked my face again.

I love you Artemis.

Then it all went black.
