Three weeks later…

T he moment I see her, it all fades. The stress eases up and my lungs feel like they can finally breathe. "What about Hunter?" She shakes her head. "I don't want to cause problems for you." I'd told her about my concerns with getting kicked out of the frat, my reasons for wanting to be discreet about us, and she agreed. She didn't want to stir the pot with Margot either, so we've been keeping our relationship a secret. But if my girl wants to go to the party, then I'm taking her.

"What if we went as friends?" I scoot closer, leaning into her neck and giving her a kiss. "It could be fun." I tease across her skin, running up along her ear, feeling the shiver rock through her.
