Each of us O’Sheas had a place in our family dynamic.

I was the one who made sure our family stayed safe.

The quiet O’Shea. The protective one. The one who did the dirty jobs.

A woman and family were the farthest things from my mind.

It wasn’t a dream I’d ever thought to have or even felt like I deserved.

Until they landed on my doorstep.

I probably should have felt bad when my husband was declared dead but all I felt was relief.

Until he came back from the dead intent on finding what he thought belonged to him.

We were beaten but not broken my girls and me.

I knew that I had to warn them.

So, I took my girls and ran, no plan in mind.
