Chapter Three

Alfie

Y eah. She wanted me.

I was one hundred percent getting laid at that party. And the great thing about it? All the lads knew and it was all they talked about on the first day back. Everywhere I went through the college all day, the fellas were offering up fist bumps and high fives. I was a legend and clearly Summer knew it.

Of course, there was a price to be paid, but I was willing to pay the piper by snuggling with her in the common room at break and lunchtime if it meant we'd be snuggling in the biblical sense by the weekend.

I only had one rule: no kissing. Under any circumstances. All the girls knew I wasn't about all that intimate stuff and I'd never had any complaints.

But I could manage a cuddle in the common room if I had to, especially if it got me some boob groping time, which Summer was apparently more than up for. Her body was incredible, which now I knew about her workout schedule, wasn't really surprising. She looked after herself and wasn't I going to reap the benefits of that?

"So, this party…" she started, biting her bottom lip in a way that drove me wild.

"Yep, Saturday night. Be there or be…" I smirked. "Disappointed."

"I'll be there," she said, smiling coyly, but that cute, innocent look wasn't fooling anyone. I'd been through the whole of high school with her and I knew her reputation.

In year eleven, there had even been a rumour about her and Mr Bridgeford, the hot history teacher every girl in the school seemed to be nuts about. But nothing was ever proven and neither of them had spilled the beans about what went on there. All we knew was that he'd left abruptly during the Easter holidays and nobody had heard from him since.

And now, his loss would be my gain. For one night only, I was going to devour her.

It hadn't been hard to convince Dad to let me have the party. One whiff of me having a chance to get laid and he'd agreed to take Mum out somewhere for the night. God knew where they were going. It wasn't really my issue as long as they were out for the night.

"Someone's got it bad," Tom commented as he slammed into the seat next to me in geography period four, right after lunch.

I smirked and dragged my fingers through my hair. "She knows a good thing when she sees it."

"Oh, yeah. You're a regular gentleman," he quipped, punching my arm. "Not exactly weighed down under gifts of flowers and chocolates, is she?"

"Why would I waste money on that stuff when she's absolutely gagging for it without me spending a single penny?"

He chuckled, shaking his head and pulling his pens from his bag. "You have no heart, bro. I don't know how you do it."

Shrugging, I grabbed a notebook from my own bag and slapped it down on the desk. "Never had anybody complain. What can I say? I must be worth it in spite of the lack of tacky gifts."

"Maybe." He sniffed jokingly. "Can't wait to see her hand you your own arse when you get yours and leave her in your dust."

"Whatever. Summer is a kindred spirit. She knows exactly what this is."

"You sure about that?" he asked with one eyebrow curled above a curious eye.

"Course. It's not like I give off forever vibes with these girls, is it?"

"Mmm," he hummed, clearly not convinced. "I don't know, fella. The way she was looking at you earlier, I didn't get one night only vibes either."

"Nah, you're misreading. She's just excited is all."

"If you say so. Just don't get your dick chopped off when she kicks off at you."

"Pfft." I tossed my fingers through my hair again, easily brushing off his words. "It'll be fine. You worry too much."

"Maybe," he agreed with a nod and a small smile. "But you don't worry enough."

"Thomas, my friend, you mark my words. This time next week, we'll both be walking around this place with satisfied grins on our faces. Trust me."
