34. Elton

CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

Elton

“Knox! Yes! Yes!”

Knox pulls off my cock, licking a path from my base up to the tip, flicking his tongue against my sensitive slit. “Happy graduation, sweetheart.”

“No. No talking. More dick-sucking. Please, don’t stop,” I babble, trying to force him back down on my cock. “Fuck, I love my boyfriend’s mouth.”

Lapping at my balls, he strokes me firmly with his hand as he smirks. “Don’t you want to rejoin the party your boyfriend is throwing for you?”

“If you don’t make me come, I’m literally going to die!”

“As you wish, sweetheart,” he teases, kissing my balls once before taking me all the way.

I throw my head back against the bathroom wall, arching my back so I can go deeper into his hot mouth. “ Yes . Knox, do that thing I like. Do that thing.”

He chuckles around my cock before swallowing, which only forces me down his throat, and I blink down to see the outline of my cock against his neck tattoos. Fuck, that’s hot. The visual alone, paired with the dark smoky eyes boring into mine, make me come on a shout that’s thankfully muffled by the music on the other side of the door.

Knox drinks me down, humming against my length before pulling off with a satisfying pop. Wiping some cum from his lips with the back of his hand, he licks the remnants off his little flamingo, which causes my spent cock to jerk. I help him onto his feet and drag him to me with my hands on his cheeks. As I let myself taste my cum on his pierced tongue, he squeezes my ass, and I smile against his mouth. “Do we have time for a quickie?”

Shaking his head, he pats my hip. “I put a lot of work into this party. We at least have to make an appearance.”

“Fine, fine,” I groan, blushing as he tucks me back into my pants and buckles me up. “I told you. I knew you’d be an awesome boyfriend.”

He chuckles as if it’s a joke, even though it’s definitely not. Since becoming official, Knox has proven to be the greatest boyfriend. He’s so attentive, so caring, and so affectionate. There isn’t anything I want that he won’t give me. Whether it’s foot rubs after a long night at work, or going on a wild goose chase at two in the morning for a very specific brand of chocolate that I’m craving, he’s done everything. Seeing him like this, freely and wholly giving himself, is such a contrast to who I knew him to be. It just proves my point that if he’d let more people in, he’d have no trouble making friends.

Because who wouldn’t want to be around someone as incredible as him?

He wasn’t able to come to my actual graduation with the cap on tickets, so he threw me this party instead, inviting my program’s entire graduating class. He’s calling it my last big college hoorah, where I can get sloppy drunk in the safety of his apartment before officially starting my job at XO as Davis’s personal marketing strategist.

I kiss him again, unable to keep my hands off him for more than two seconds. He bats my hand away when it wanders to his crotch, and chuckles. “No, sweetheart. I did not cater this damn party for you to get full on cum. You haven’t even tried the pigs in a blanket.”

My eyes widen. “There’s pigs in a blanket!”

“I had the servers hide some in the kitchen for you.” He laughs, nipping at my cheek. “Knew your horny ass would need me to squirrel some away.”

I take his hand. “Say less. Let’s go.”

We make ourselves presentable and step out of his guest bathroom, and I make sure to dramatically wink at one of my classmates, who’s probably been waiting for quite some time to use the restroom. He drops my hand as we rejoin the party so he can grab us two drinks from a passing tray. I think hiring a full staff to service this party was a bit much, but I’m not complaining.

“Here,” he says, handing me what smells like a whiskey sour. “It’s your favorite.”

I laugh, noticing that these are the only drinks being passed around on trays. “What if other people don’t like it?”

“Do you think I give a fuck what other people want?” he snaps, rolling his eyes as if I’m being ridiculous. “As long as you want it, that’s all that matters.”

The words holy fuck I’m falling in love are right on the tip of my tongue. I keep my mouth shut, however, because that might be too intense for as long as we’ve been together.

We weave our way through the crowd, and I have to give Knox credit for at least trying to act nice around my classmates, even though I know he has zero interest in getting to know them. He plays the dutiful boyfriend, always making sure my drink is refilled, and acting as a buffer when I’m done with a conversation that seems to go on and on.

It’s when I hear commotion by the front door that I turn, my eyes wide when I see who it is. “You didn’t.”

“Well, turns out, people will show up if you actually invite them.” He snorts as we watch the whole XO crew walk in. “I knew you’d probably want them here, but if Cassius and Skylar’s new boyfriend get into a fight, I’m kicking them out.”

“Uh-huh,” I mumble as I drag him toward our friends. “Hey! Thanks for making it!”

Skylar, who’s tethered to his new boyfriend’s side—Dick or something—smiles brightly. “Of course, Elty! Congratulations on your graduation!”

“Skylar, let’s get drinks,” Dick snaps, yanking Skylar away from us.

I frown as they walk away. That dude is rude as fuck, and Skylar can do so much better. I’m sure Cassius thinks so too, because he barely mumbles a greeting to me as he follows the path Skylar and Dick took into the kitchen. Butch is nice enough, nodding quickly before making a beeline to the pickled dates.

“Bro!” I yell, throwing myself at Everest when he and Rhys walk through the door. “You made it!”

Everest chuckles as he pats my back awkwardly. “How many drinks have you had?”

“Enough, I think,” Rhys jokes, ruffling my hair. “Congrats, man. This is a cool party you set up. Why are you having it at Knox’s anyway?”

I sober up for a moment. Knox and I haven’t been telling people about our relationship yet. Even though he’s an amazing boyfriend, I can tell he’s still a bit skittish. I think he thinks that maybe everyone knowing would put a lot of pressure on a new relationship, so I’ve been okay keeping it on the down-low for a bit, even though I’d love nothing more than to tell my best friend and my brother all about it.

With respect for Knox, I shrug. “Knox and I are friends!”

Rhys raises an eyebrow. “Friends…”

“That’s great,” Everest says with a wide smile. “God knows he needs some.”

I think for a moment that the comment is weird, but my fuzzy whiskey brain won’t let me focus on why. Instead, I clap both of their shoulders and smile. “Enjoy yourselves! Mingle! Drink! I already told Knox anyone who can’t drive is taking an afternoon nap.”

I know for a fact Rhys will only have one beer since he doesn’t like to drink much, but Everest occasionally will get a little tipsy. He takes Rhys’s hand and leads him to Knox’s kitchen. I look around for Knox, finding him completely bored as one of my classmates goes on about her dissertation.

“Can I borrow him for a minute?” I ask her, butting into the conversation. Before she can answer, I’m already yanking my boyfriend away. “Thanks!”

“You’re my hero,” Knox says, groaning dramatically. “I didn’t even understand half of the things she was talking about.”

Snaking my arms around his waist, I laugh. “Want me to give you a sexy marketing lesson, baby? I can get a ruler out and spank you if you get an answer wrong.”

I expect at least a chuckle out of him, and hurt strikes me when he takes a step back and untangles himself from my arms, checking over his shoulder to see if anybody saw. Right . We’re keeping this secret.

Fuck, how many whiskey sours did I have?

“Hey,” I begin, wetting my lips. “So, this whole let’s-keep-our-relationship-a-secret thing. How much longer are we going to do it?”

He rears his head back at my bluntness. “I thought you said you were okay with it.”

“No, yeah, totally. It’s just…” I trail off as I see Everest and Rhys over his shoulder making out, and I feel a bit jealous. “I want to stick my tongue down your throat in front of everyone.”

He bristles, uncomfortable and tense. “I… Not yet, Elton.”

“But when?” I press.

“Elton,” he hisses, his eyes softening and apologetic when I frown. “Sorry, sweetheart. Just a little longer, okay? I’m just not ready yet.”

Trying my best to smile, I nod. I can tell he wants to give me a comforting kiss, but holds back. He wouldn’t have to if he wasn’t being so stubborn.

I push the hurt feelings away because the whiskey sours are making me emotional. I don’t take his hand, but do invite him to dominate Rhys and Everest in beer pong. We don’t avoid each other for the rest of the party, but I hold back from doing what I want. Like kissing him when we win the game, or subtly groping him when I get a bit horny at seeing him gloat. Patience has never been my strong suit, but I can do it.

I’d do anything for Knox.
