9. Ginger
CHAPTER 9
ginger
Taking care of my dirty little nymph was hungry work, and by the time I woke up a couple of hours later, I was starving. I let Jules sleep as I snuck downstairs. After snooping through her cabinets, I pulled together the ingredients to make us a colorful pasta primavera.
While I waited for the water to boil, my phone went off. I smiled when I saw the incoming message.
Leo: How'd it go?
Leo: Can I assume that since you didn't come home last night, things went well?
Leo: Don't leave me hanging.
Ginger: I'm sorry, I'm too busy getting laid to answer text messages.
Leo: !!!
Ginger: !!!
Leo: Oh my God! I'm so happy for you.
Leo: It's a good thing you got laid. You were getting grumpy.
Ginger: Shut up, Leo.
Leo: Whatever. You love me.
Ginger: Not as much as I love my new girlfriend.
Leo: sad face emoji
Ginger: I still love you, too, buddy.
Leo: You better.
I cracked up as I poured the mini penne into the boiling water.
"What's going on here?" Jules asked, shuffling into the kitchen wearing a silk robe, her hair tied up in a knot at the base of her head. She looked slightly sheepish, so I pulled her in for a quick hug.
"I'm making you lunch. And fielding questions from my nosy roommate."
"What did you tell him?"
"That my girlfriend is a sex freak in gorgeous lingerie."
"You did not ," she said, her eyes as big as the moon.
"No, I did not. He was checking in on me since I didn't go home last night. He wanted to make sure that things went well."
"And they did?"
I wrinkled my nose at her. "If you have to ask that, I'm going to march you back up to that bed and start over."
She shook her head, seemingly dazed. "That was my first time doing that with someone who didn't make me feel weird about it."
I wrapped her up tight, wishing I could infuse her with my certainty. "I loved diving into the deep end with you. Thank you for trusting me with your fantasies. I want to hear every single one of them."
"And I want to hear yours," she responded, flushing.
I nuzzled her hair. "For one, I can't wait to get you into that pretty pink cock cage while you wear your most Audrey-inspired outfit. I want to take you to dinner, knowing that your sweet lady cock is all bound up."
She snuggled against me, warm as a cat. "Why does this feel so natural?"
"Because we were always meant to be together, and the second we were both mentally there, we clicked. Maybe it won't always be like this, and maybe we'll have to work through a few things. But I'm all in. I'm willing to do whatever is necessary."
"Me, too." She took in the lunch offerings and smiled. "I really want to dedicate an entire day to your orgasms, see how many I can bring out of you all at once."
"Oh no, that sounds like so much effort ."
We giggled, then leaned against one another as the water bubbled. There was a slight heaviness to her silence, though, so I tapped her chin. "What are you overthinking?"
She let out a sigh. "I have a question—and I know the answer, but I think I'm gonna need to hear you say it."
"Ask away."
"It's two questions. First, are you really okay with everything we did last night and this morning?"
I smiled and kissed her hairline. "One thing my past has given me is a backbone. I don't do a damn thing I don't wanna do. I loved everything that we did, and I loved that you were so open with me. What's your second question?"
"You've just spent a lot of time with my body, and you've been amazing at making me feel comfortable. But I've got to know… even if you're okay with it, does my"—she sighed again and shook her head—"lady cock?—"
I couldn't help the snort that escaped.
Jules elbowed me. "Can you be honest with me? Do you still think I'm a girl?"
I paused at the seriousness of her words and made sure she was looking into my eyes when I answered. "It's the only reason why I am able to do all of this with you. There is nothing in my head that has to calculate or figure it out or translate or any of those things we talked about before. My body and mind accept that you are a woman because you are, in fact, a woman. Though even if I didn't realize that, you'd still be a woman."
"Thank you. I do know that. But… I really thought that my ex saw me as me. In the end, though, she didn't. I suspect she never had, and I don't know how I got into a whole-ass relationship, and then a whole-ass marriage, and missed that. It makes me doubt myself, you know?"
The lost look in her eyes broke my heart and stoked a deep, burning rage. "Seriously, fuck that bitch," I said. "You and me? We don't have to explain ourselves to anyone else. Our intimacy is just that: ours ."
She let out a long breath. "Thank you. Because… I can tell you right now I'm not gonna be able to go slow with you. I'm not gonna be able to be reasonable. And I'm not gonna be safe with my heart. I'm already way past the edge."
"Jules, I'm cooking you lunch after filling your holes, and I can't wait to do it all over again. I'm right there with you."
She ducked her chin and pressed her temple into my shoulder. "Thank you."
I kissed the top of her head. "I love you. Have for a very long time."
Jules blinked, tears trailing down her cheeks. "I love you, too."
