Chapter 42
CHAPTER FORTY-TWO
Adriana
There’s a ringing noise in my head, but I don’t know where it’s coming from. I try to move my arms and when I can’t, I remember what is happening and who is here.
I keep my eyes closed so Dylan doesn’t know I’m awake. I have to figure out how to get away from them.
I don’t know where my keys are or how I would even get far enough away if I make it outside.
Maybe the goal is to make it somewhere I can hide. The second or third floor might be good. He would think I would try to leave the stadium instead of hiding.
“Why aren’t you waking up? Did I hit you too hard on the head?” Dylan questions himself.
Is he fucking serious?!
“Can’t handle rejection?” I croak.
I know I shouldn’t provoke him, but the words left my mouth before I could stop them.
What a small, small man with a big ass ego. Hearing no sucks for anyone, but you don’t fucking do this because of it. He’s a fucking psychopath.
“What the fuck did you just say, bitch?” Dyland spits out.
I hear footsteps coming closer and I open my eyes, but I’m only able to see out of one. It’s the side he didn’t punch in the face. The other must be swollen shut.
Dylan gets to be within arm’s length of me and grabs the front of my shirt, lifting me off the ground. My head snaps backwards from the force with which he pulls me.
“Aaaahhhhhh!” I cry out.
The movement hurts and makes me nauseous.
“You are mine now. I told you I get what I want. Cole can have you back when I’m done with you.” Dylan says with such venom in his voice.
“I’m NOT yours and I will never be! I’m not property, you fucking asshole. What is wrong with you?!” I scream.
I’d rather die than have to deal with his hands on my body.
Cole, just know I put up as much of a fight as I could. I refuse to let him think he broke me.
“You will be begging just like every other woman that’s said no at first,” he says and licks the shell of my ear.
I gag. My stomach turns even more and I feel like I need bleach to clean my ear.
He brings his hand up from his side, and I see he’s holding a knife.
Dylan brings to my chin and slides it down my body light enough that it doesn’t cut me. He stops at the top of my shirt.
“I think it’s time I show her who owns her now.” Dylan says to himself.
He tears through my shirt before he’s taken down to the ground in a flash of red.
“What the fuck?!” Dylan screeches as he drops me to the ground.
I hear a crack and I scream out in pain. Fuck, I think I just broke my hand or wrist. I feel the pain but can’t tell where it’s coming from.
“Piece of fucking shit.” I hear from the person on top of Dylan.
I know that voice!
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” I hear.
Ty! That’s Ty.
Oh shit , Dylan is in for it.
“You motherfucker.” I hear from the other side.
King?
If Ty and King are here, where is Cole?
My good eye closes. The ringing is back in my head. I can feel that I’m fading.
“Get Ty off of him before he kills him and ruins his life.” Someone says, but it sounds so far away and like I’m underwater.
I hear some type of slamming and scuffle before everything goes quiet.
