EPILOGUE

Sniper – Five Years Later

I chuckle, watching Autumn, now eight, run after Harlen, who's five and is the spitting image of me, as they run around the club yard.

The last five years have been amazing. Yes, my wife has kept me on my toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Together, we've grown, leaning on each other.

She became my strength, and I became hers.

Losing our daughter was hard, but watching our son grow is a blessing, along with Autumn, and our four-year-old Rose, two-year-old Tara, named after Rory's momma, and one-year-old Shane, named after my father.

I told my woman I wanted four more kids, and kept to it.

She's currently four months pregnant and is adamant this one will be our last, but….

I want more. I love growing our family. I need a few more to run around with our other kids, and I'll be happy.

"I know that look," Breaker says to my left, and I give him a smirk. He shakes his head. "Your wife made it perfectly clear, when she announced you knocked her up again, that she wants no more." He grins. "Brother, she looked ready to kill you when she stormed into church cursing you out."

I chuckle. "Yeah, I know. She wanted to wait at least another year, especially considering how much she loves her job."

He grins wider. "Quinn mentioned Rory was pissed because it took her two extra years to get through college and become the vet nurse she's always wanted to be. Fuck, between her and Brook, that place is unstoppable."

I shrug. "I can't say I'm sorry. I mean, it's not my fault she forgot to get the shot after Shane was born."

He nods, sipping his beer, and asks, "What about after Rose and Tara?"

I grin wide. "I ensured she didn't remember. I mean, she'd just given birth, her mind was on the baby…."

He chuckles. "You're such an idiot."

I shrug again. "An idiot with a family I never knew I wanted, and hey, you're one to talk fucker; you have five kids."

He smirks. "Yeah, because watching your wife get round with your child is fucking amazing, that's why."

I nod in agreement as I look around the room, kids running everywhere. The club is growing, brothers settling down, having children—fuck, Snake has four himself, and I love every one of them.

The kids run the place, and no brother gives a fuck. They're the next generation.

My eyes catch Bill throwing Shane up in the air, making him giggle, and I smile. The Huntsmen visit most weekends, while Bill lives here permanently. We only use his family home when we visit New York, which we do at least once a month.

"Daddy!" Rose squeals, running my way, and I chuckle. I catch her, then plant her on my hip. She's a mixture of my wife and me, her hair is a strawberry color, her green eyes looking so innocent.

I kiss her forehead, breathing her in.

My children are my fucking everything, and my wife, well, she's my universe.

Breaker curses, getting my attention, his eyes wide before he pats my back. I follow his movement as he runs across the room, his six-year-old daughter Hope giggling, noticing him. I laugh at seeing she has the very heavy hammer he uses on the oak trees outside to get his frustration out. She wobbles, trying to carry it outside, her father on her heels as everyone laughs.

The little girl is a terror.

"How on earth did Hope get Breaker's hammer, and more importantly, how in the hell is she carrying it?" The voice of an angel drawls in shock next to me, and I smile wide, turning to look at my perfect wife.

Her curly red hair is down over her shoulder, her bump just showing in her yellow skater dress, her cut covering it a little.

Fuck, I love how she has the courage to wear dresses and skirts; easy fucking access….

"Hell," Rose copies, and Rory groans.

I shake my head and mutter, "Just like her sister." Sighing, I kiss Rose's head and put her down, rasping, "Why don't you go find Gramps?" referring to my father. She grins wide and runs off to the back of the room, where my parents are.

Rory and I chuckle when Rose jumps on my dad.

"Yeah, just like her sister," Rory mutters, making me grin. I grab her hand, pulling her into me.

She smiles wide, and I press my lips against hers. She instantly melts against me, and I rasp, "I've missed you, Firecracker."

She chuckles. "It's only been a few hours; I had my rounds."

I hum. "Indeed, but two hours too long."

She laughs, leaning back a little. Gently, she strokes my jaw, then whispers, "Did you know Brook's pregnant again?" My eyes widen, and she nods. "Yeah, she's just found out and unloaded on me while we checked the cows."

I furrow my brows. "Didn't she mention only wanting two kids the other week, after Tech mentioned having a few more?"

Rory nods. "She did." Yet she's pregnant, that doesn't…. My thoughts stop, my eyes widening with realization, and Rory nods, commenting, "Yeah, Tech is in deep, deep trouble. He took a leaf outta your and Breaker's book, and messed with her birth control."

I laugh; I can't help it; that shit is fucking funny. Rory shakes her head at me, but I shrug. I'm not sorry for messing with hers. We have a family, and that's all that matters to me.

I fucking love my kids, and the more, the merrier, as long as it's with this woman.

Smiling, her eyes go to my right forearm, her eyes watering a little as her eyes catch the angel wings, our daughter's birth date along the left wing, her name along the right. Our children's names are inked down between them, with their birth dates. Autumn's is right at the top.

"I miss her. I never knew her, yet I feel like a piece of me is missing," she whispers, and I nod, bringing her closer to me.

I place my hand on her bump.

"She's always with us, Firecracker; she's in our heart, in our kids," I rasp, and she nods, tears falling down her cheeks.

Gently, I wipe them away. Sometimes, she struggles around this time.

Five and a half years, last week, when we lost our daughter, Angel, and it never gets any easier.

Rory pushes up on her tiptoes, pressing her lips against mine, and I smile.

This woman consumes me.

"I love you, you know that?" I rasp against her lips.

She smiles. "Not as much as I love you."

I chuckle. "Impossible."

She grins before tilting her head, her eyes showing nothing but love as she whispers, "Have I ever thanked you?" I furrow my brows in confusion, and she smiles, continuing, "For never giving up."

I grin wide, holding her tight. "Firecracker, giving up on you was never an option. You're mine."

Her eyes soften as she leans against my chest and says, "And you're mine…."

I nod and rasp, "Damn right I am," before kissing her hard. She opens her mouth, my tongue tangling with hers, and she moans, gripping my cut, making me want to carry her out of here and lower her onto my cock. My hardening cock soon deflates when I hear, "Daddy!"

We break apart, and Autumn runs our way. I grin wide as she runs into my arms, one arm around my back, her other hand going to Rory's bump. Rose and Tara follow, both wrapping their arms around my legs. My eyes go to my momma, who has taken Shane from Bill, grinning wide at me.

My smile goes wider as I look at my wife, whose eyes are teary as she looks at our kids, all their hands on her bump, arguing over whether it's another girl or boy.

I never wanted this life. Clubwhores and partying were the way to go for me, until this beautiful woman changed it all, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

"I hope you know we're having at least another three kids," I tell her, and Rory laughs, knowing full well I mean every word, and why would I not?

This woman is my universe, and our kids complete us.

Damn, I'm a lucky fucker.
