Chapter 39
CHAPTER 39
SIN
I glance at my phone while Kierra sleeps. You'd think she wouldn't be so tired at two in the afternoon, but I kept my promise last night. And then continued to deliver this morning, three times. Poor thing is exhausted. Grabbing my phone, I see a text message from Bones.
Bones: I'm ready. Are you bringing her?
Shit. I haven't even had this conversation with her. If I'm honest, I haven't because I'm a little concerned about her reaction.
Me: I don't know. I need to talk to her about it.
Bones: What the fuck, Sin? You knew this was the plan. In fact, it was you that demanded it.
Me: Just give me a few. I'll be on my way shortly. With or without her.
I brush her hair out of her face and speak softly, "Baby girl, I need you to wake up."
She stretches her arm up with a moan, and the sheet slips below her tits. This gorgeous woman is going to be the death of me.
Fucking stunning.
Her eyes pop open with a soft smile on her lips. "Daddy."
I shake my head at her ability to always make my dick hard and get up and grab her a t-shirt. I bring it back to her. "Put this on. We need to talk and I can't have a serious conversation with your tits calling to my mouth.
She giggles and puts the shirt on. "Is everything okay?"
I nod as I sit back down beside her, "Yes, baby girl. Everything is okay."
She sits up with her back against the headboard. "Alright. What's going on then?"
I take a deep breath, "Do you remember Bones?"
Kierra giggles, "Your mafia friend. Yep, kind of hard to forget."
Arching an eyebrow at her, I question, "How do you-"
She interrupts me, "Amira."
Right, Zade's brat.
"The entire time you were in the hospital, he was searching for the men that hurt you. He has them and I'm going to go help him take care of them. You do not have to go but if you want to you can, but you'll likely see things you might find disturbing."
She sits up excitedly, like this is the best part of her favorite movie. "Is he gonna kill them?"
I nod. "Baby girl, you'll never be safe as long as they're alive. Besides, they need to suffer after what they did to you."
The sadistic grin on her face surprises me. "Good. I killed one. And now you guys can each kill one. It's about time you two pull your weight around here."
I can't help but chuckle, "Crazy little slut. Just so you know, he's already killed several. The entire gang has to be gone for you to be safe. The remaining two are the other men that have been hunting you."
While I promised her complete honesty, I will not tell her about what her father did that caused this entire situation. If she asks, I won't lie, but I will not volunteer the information because I feel like it'll do more harm than good for her. Before anything else, my job is to protect her, not just physically, but also emotionally.
"Get ready and I'll meet you downstairs with coffee and food. You need to eat before we leave."
She shrugs, "I can wait."
I give her a stern glare, "I said, you need to eat before we leave."
Kierra sighs contentedly, "Yes, Daddy. Thank you."
I stroke her hair, and she leans into my touch. "Such a good girl. Do you know how hard it gets me when you're so obedient?"
Her lashes flutter as she lifts her gaze to mine. "I didn't. Maybe I should behave more often?"
I chuckle. "Hurry, before Bones leaves nothing other than dead bodies for us."
Kissing her quickly, I pull away and head to the kitchen. If I stay here, I'll end up inside her instead of dealing with the garbage.
I have everything prepared for her when she comes in looking delicious in tight black jeans and a black tank top that says Den of Sin with our logo, Our Business is your Pleasure, on it. I stare at her over my cup of coffee. "You look like both sin and pleasure, baby girl."
Kierra smiles coyly, "Thank you, Daddy."
Scooting out my chair from the kitchen table, I pat my leg. "Come here. I have coffee for you."
She glances from the coffee cup then back to me, "I don't want to spill coffee on you."
"I'll take my chances. Get over here."
I wrap my arm around her when she sits on my lap. She surprises me with her question before taking a sip of her coffee. "Did you make all your submissives sit on your lap?"
She chews on her bottom lip nervously and then adds, "I didn't know if it was a submissive thing or if- Never mind, it was stupid."
"No, Kierra, it's not a submissive thing. Not for me, anyway. That's something I've never wanted before. I've also never had a relationship like this with a woman. I like you being close, but I suppose if you don't like it, we can make it something I require less frequently."
She looks down at me. "No. I like it. It just feels weird that you were my first and I am one of god only knows how many for you."
I nod to the plate of food, telling her to eat, and she picks up half the sandwich and chews.
"You're my first too, kind of."
She keeps eating but arches an eyebrow, letting me know she thinks I'm full of shit.
"I've never collared a woman before. Trust me when I say our relationship is the first of its kind I've ever had. It was only ever about sex before. You're the first woman I've ever loved. And you'll be the last."
Kierra swallows her bite of food as her eyes water, and she touches the heart on her collar. "Thank you."
I can't help staring at her as she finishes her coffee because Jesus, she really is stunning. Everything about her. Her dark hair pulled into a high ponytail, that sun kissed glow to her skin, and don't get me started on that body that I want to play with at all hours of the day. She's like my personal prescription of Viagra. I've never had a problem getting erections, but with her I think it might never happen.
Kierra sets her coffee cup on the table and runs her fingers into the back of my hair. "Thank you, Daddy. I'm ready whenever you are."
"Okay, let's go. Bones is getting a little edgy."
We both get up and walk to the door so we can kill the two remaining assholes that tried to end her life. That she wants to go at all surprised me. I just hope she can truly handle it. Sometimes things seem doable when it's a hypothetical, but when it becomes reality, it's a little different.
