Backdraft

Burning embers follow me wherever I go. The flames dance in my dreams, calling to me, daring me to walk with them. Their Sirens song taunts me, even while I rest. There is no escape from the heat licking my skin, the inferno blazing through my body.

When an angel wearing a halo of fire emerges from the flames, I have to have her. Her touch ignites an inferno inside me that's certain to leave us both a smoldering pile of ash.
