Several Months Later
Felix and I were finally ready for the grand opening of our brand-new club. We were doing the final walkthrough to make sure everything was in place, and to tie up any loose ends. For the most part, we were both pretty confident that the opening would go off without a hitch.
We were standing on the dance floor. It was substantially larger than the previous club, and there were two bars, one on either side of the dance floor, instead of just the one in the last club. The kitchen had been upgraded with modern equipment, and the design structure of the club as a whole was sleek, posh, and tasteful.
Felix glanced at me with an excited grin. "So? What do you think? How does everything look?"
"That's the million-dollar question isn't it?" I joked. I couldn't stop smiling. I looked at Felix, thankful that I had his help to persist and see this through. "I couldn't be happier. I think that everything looks amazing."
"Me too." Felix nodded, glancing around the heart of the club with general satisfaction. "I think that everything turned out better than we could have ever expected."
I nodded in agreement. "Truth be told, I'm pleased how things fell into place. I love the modern design. It looks so sophisticated, which I know our members will appreciate."
"I think you're absolutely right." Felix's smile was earnest and eager.
"This place is much nicer than my old club, now that I'm able to stand here and make the comparisons. My initial budget with the old club was far skimpier than this one, and I owe that all to you." I gave him a grateful smile.
Felix took my hand and kissed it. "You don't owe me anything but love."
"Well, in that case, I have plenty to go around," I said with a chuckle.
He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. We both contentedly gazed at all the blood, sweat, and tears we had put into this new building.
"It was worth the effort," I admitted.
Felix squeezed me around the waist. His eyes gleamed excitedly. "I think so too."
Carol approached us a few moments later. She seemed to be in good spirits. I was happy to bring her with me from the old club. She was great at her job and a wonderful asset to me as a business associate.
"Harry and his friend are here," she said with a grin.
"Fantastic, send them in," I directed enthusiastically.
Harry was the firefighter who ultimately had helped us do the separate investigation into the fire using an outside source. Without his help, we probably wouldn't have stopped Nelson before he found another unsuspecting victim to torture.
Harry walked in with the outside investigator. His name was Pete Wagner. He was tall and lanky and always wore a gray suit with a black tie, at least every time I had been around him. He had big teeth and an even bigger grin. His hair was slicked back and looked like he used an entire bottle of product.
"Good to see you both again," I said and animatedly shook both men's hands. "I can't wait to show you around."
"Give us the whole tour," Harry said with curiosity flickering in his blue eyes.
Harry was gay but he had never visited my club before the fire accident. He had promised to be a regular at the new club if he could do it in a discretionary manner. Felix and I had both promised to help Harry out as much as we possibly could because we already felt indebted to him.
"I'll do you one better," I said and beckoned for them to follow me over to the bar.
I poured us each a shot of my finest bourbon. "To new beginnings that wouldn't have been possible without the tireless efforts and passion from every person standing in this circle right now."
I raised my glass and everyone else followed suit. "Salud," Harry said and slurped down the whole thing down in one gulp.
"That burned a little, but I loved it," Pete said with a zesty grin.
We laughed, and I offered to pour us another round, but Felix stopped me.
"Maybe later," he said with a chuckle. "Let's get the club opened first and then we can really start celebrating."
"Good thinking," I said, grinning and looking at the other two while pointing to Felix. "He keeps me grounded."
"I do it all out of love," Felix laughed.
He was right. I felt a tremendous amount of happiness with this new and improved club. The icing on the cake was the fact that Nelson and Mayor Beech had been slapped with a plethora of charges due to Pete's outstanding investigative work.
"Did you hear about the indictment?" Harry asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"I did." I exchanged a satisfied glance with Felix, and we took each other's hands. "Exceptional work on both your parts."
"After a while, the trail of lies and deception begins to catch up with you," Pete declared with a humble shrug as if it had simply been all in a day's work.
"Well, at any rate, whatever work you did, seemed to really do the trick to bring that asshole down," I said.
Pete beamed at my compliment. "That's very kind of you to say."
"He got all kinds of indictments," Harry mentioned proudly, taking some of the well-deserved credit
"Corruption should never be in office," Felix said.
"I agree," I said. "I'm just relieved it's over. Now we can all breathe a little easier."
"And you have this amazing club to open tonight," Harry said with a whimsical smile as he turned slowly in a circle.
He extended his arms out beside him as if drawing in all the magic and excitement for himself.
"We are absolutely thrilled," I admitted. "I'm a little nervous about the opening, but I know that we had a lot of members who were willing to follow us to this new location, and my assistant also informed me this morning that we had about fifty new members sign up on our website."
"That's fantastic." Harry looked like he was sincerely delighted for us and the way things had turned out.
We had come full circle and I was a better man because of the trials that I had been put through. I was stronger, and came out ahead, like a phoenix rising from the ashes. With Felix by my side, supporting me, I felt like there was nothing we couldn't overcome.
"So, are you going to build a second club location on your original land?" Harry asked, snickering. "Nelson sure won't be using it."
I chuckled but shook my head. "No, I don't think so."
"Really?" He raised his eyebrows, looking slightly surprised.
I shifted my weight. "To be honest, I've moved on." I caught Felix's eye and his expression flashed reassurance. "Besides," I laughed dryly, "that's just what this town needs; another strip mall."
"You've got a point there." Harry nodded in agreement, chuckling at my joke.
"That old club was a symbol of standing up to Nelson," I said, still feeling the residual defiance. "It's a token of where I've been, and what I've conquered in the process. I feel like I've been through a war, but it wasn't all for nothing. I have this amazing club and wonderful man by my side." I squeezed Felix's hand.
I would never be able to show him how grateful I was for his positive presence in my life, but I was going to give it my best effort. Everything I had now was ten times better than what I'd started out with.
After showing Harry and Pete around the establishment, they left and promised to be back later for the official grand opening. I told them they had a special VIP section roped off for them if they wanted, which they happily accepted.
I took Felix to our new private room downstairs. It had all the bells and whistles, but I found myself not needing to use all the trinkets and toys anymore. Felix was happy to submit and let me guide him as his Dom.
We were comfortable enough with each other and our love that we had nothing left to prove. It wasn't a contest between us, and we were passionate about making each other feel as incredible as possible.
"You're so sexy," I said, closing the door behind us.
I began to run my fingers through his hair as I stared deeply into his eyes. I recognized lust and sensuality there.
"So are you," he said, already beginning to breathe harder with excitement.
I felt arousal stirring in my pants. "We have a few hours before the club opens," I implied naughtily.
Felix tossed me a flirty glance. His lips curled, and he began to tug at my shirt, trying to remove it.
"You don't have to tell me twice," he said, getting right down to business.
"I love you so much," I said and began kissing his mouth. "Everything with you is an adventure."
He began gliding his hands down to the button of my pants, fumbling to urgently unzip them and push them down to my ankles.
I moved him against the wall and shot him an enticing grin. "Now you're backed into a corner, literally."
"I'm shaking with delight, not fright," he quipped.
"What are you going to let me do about it?" I asked, eyeing him hungrily.
"I'm going to let you fuck me hard," he whispered.
"Good," I responded, pleased by his enthusiasm. "Because we need to christen our private room before the club opens its doors to the first member."
"Keep talking like that," Felix moaned into my ear, nibbling on my earlobe as he snaked his fingers around my hard cock and began stroking it delicately. "It gets me all hot."
"I'll keep you hot for the rest of your life, baby," I said.
"I hope that's a promise," he whined as I grabbed his cock and wrapped my hand around it.
I pumped up and down, making him moan. I loved to hear his sounds of pleasure. I relished in watching him squirm with ecstasy under my grasp. This section of our lives was only just beginning, illuminated by purpose and driven by desire. I couldn't wait to fuck him into the next day, into oblivion for that matter.
The world was ours and we weren't going to waste a single second, sharing our passion not only everywhere we went, but especially in the club that we had built for each other. It was an everlasting representation of love and freedom, and we intended to keep it that way, forever and always.
