6. Chapter 6
Chapter six
Ajay
A jay walked out of the office with a weight being lifted from his shoulders. He was officially done with the DEA, all paperwork filed, badge and gun turned in. He got a lot of looks from former co-workers, and agents who no doubt had their own unfavorable opinions about him. But he didn't care. He knew what he was giving up and none of it compared to what he was about to gain. He stepped onto the elevator and pushed the button for Ground Level, but before the elevator doors could close, Kevin Bryar, his husband, forced himself inside. Ajay sighed because this was one conversation he didn't want to have with the one person he'd hoped he could avoid.
"You're fucking quitting?" Kevin asked him.
"Yes. I just turned everything in," Ajay said.
Kevin scoffed and shook his head. "So, you're giving up your fucking career and your marriage for a fucking criminal? Are you this desperate for his dick? Because he can't offer you shit else."
Ajay looked away and laughed.
Kevin frowned. "What's so fucking funny? I find it sad."
Ajay turned back to him. "You should hope his dick isn't the only thing he can offer me."
Kevin snorted. "Why?"
"Because, then, wouldn't that mean that's where you were lacking?" Ajay shot back.
"I had you screaming my name whenever my cock was inside of you. You're the one who kicked me out," Kevin said.
Ajay shrugged. "It was good sometimes. But with Tim, it's great every time."
Kevin snarled and grabbed Ajay by his neck and slammed him against the wall. "What the fuck you say?"
"Get your fucking hands off me," Ajay snapped. Then looked toward the corner of the elevator.
Kevin stared at him for a few seconds before turning to look in the same direction. That was when he saw the camera that had caught his actions that could be deemed assault. Immediately, he released Ajay and took a step back. He looked at the man who had his blood boiling. "If you think I'm going to give you a fucking divorce so that you can be with him, think again."
Ajay scoffed. "Not divorcing me won't stop me from being with him when he gets out."
"That's if he gets out," Kevin said just as the elevator doors opened.
"What the fuck does that mean?" Ajay said.
Kevin shrugged and then stepped off the elevator, but Ajay followed him and grabbed his arm, turning him around.
"What the fuck does that mean, Kevin?" Ajay demanded to know what Kevin's words implicated.
Kevin smiled down at him, then leaned closer to whisper. "A lot can happen to a man in prison." He then licked Ajay's ear.
Ajay shoved him back, his face twisted in a grimace. "Don't you touch him."
Kevin rolled his eyes. "Worry more about yourself and less about your convict boy toy now that you've decided to be unemployed."
"I'm warning you, Kevin... leave us alone."
Kevin cocked an eyebrow. "Us?" He shook his head as he chuckled, but there was no humor in his laugh. "There is no ‘us', not with him. The only reason you're not in more trouble is because of me. We don't know what you told them about our investigation while you were taking it up the ass in there. Does obstruction of justice ring a bell? What about accomplice to a crime? While you were getting his filthy fucking spunk shot up in you, what secrets did you whisper to him?"
"Wow, you're unbelievable. I didn't tell them anything and let's face it. It's not like the Lords don't know they're being watched," Ajay said.
"And you know they're criminals, the whole lot of them, right down to the kids and you want to be with them," Kevin said.
"To be honest, I saw more criminal activity from the COs in there than the actual criminals, so spare me the cops are righteous bullshit. And if anything happens to Tim in there, you're the first person I'm going to point to when the Lords start asking questions. So, I suggest you back off and sign the fucking divorce papers," Ajay said, then shoved past Kevin to leave the DEA Branch.
He was still fuming when he climbed into his car. He had to tell the Lords so they could pass the word to TT and Dragon to be on alert. He was sure those two men always were, he'd seen that much with his own eyes, but he needed to make certain. He'd lose his mind if anything bad happened to Tim, especially at the hands of his jealous husband. He also prayed for the day when he could call Kevin his ex-husband and Tim his real husband. He knew that day would come, even if he had to do something to Kevin to make sure that it did. The last thing he was going to allow anyone to do was keep him oppressed. First, he had to pay his dues to the Lords and give them that information. His mind raced with various scenarios of how it was all going to go down. He was nervous and excited at the same time.
Well, time to find out. He turned the car on and headed toward the Lords of Chaos clubhouse.
