Chapter five
Chen
C hen sat down as he was instructed across from Da Han's desk. It was just the two of them in the office, and he was curious as to why he'd been called to the meeting.
"I always knew you were a vicious bastard, Chen. One could never rise to the position of Vanguard without the capabilities of being a rabid dog," Da Han said.
Chen frowned. "Is this because I struck your son, sir?"
Da Han shook his head. "No, I trust your methods in training him. You did what you needed to do to get him to rise to the occasion. All you did was prove that you're the right man for the job."
"Thank you, sir," Chen said with a bow of his head.
"But I want to see more of that in you," Da Han stated.
"I'm not following, sir."
Da Han smirked. "I saw the man behind the mask, Chen. The stories I heard of your youthful days being my father's attack dog proved true in that instant. Now that we're about to be taking on the Castiello family and the Lords, I need that from you again."
Damn, he saw, Chen thought to himself. That person Da Han was referring to, he hadn't been since becoming the Vanguard. "Sir, I will always serve you to the best of my ability."
"I want the man I saw in that basement as my Vanguard, Chen. Had you been that man already, maybe my father would still be alive."
Chen's jaw tightened at that insult. "I'd give my life to your father, sir."
Da Han sat back and nodded. "Oh, I know. But you were far too relaxed as his Vanguard. What I saw downstairs was a man with keen senses. A beast who knows how to chase down his prey and rip it to shreds. I saw a man who would never let the slightest threat sneak past his nets. You rose in rank because you were that man. Bring him back."
Chen took a deep breath and then released it. "If that is what you desire, sir. I can be that man for you."
Da Han smiled and nodded. "That is what I need and what I desire."
Chen bowed his head.
"Just one more thing before I let you go."
"Yes, sir?"
"My son... while training him, keep it completely professional."
Chen didn't need his boss to spell out the meaning behind those words. He nodded. "Of course, sir."
Da Han smiled. "Good. you may go now."
Chen rose, bowed once more, then left Da Han's office to return to his bedroom. The moment Yìchén had punched him, he felt something in him jolt to life. He had been punched by men he fought, and though that gave him a burst of adrenaline, not once did he get the thrill he got when Yìchén's fist connected with his jaw. His cock throbbed at the memory and he reached into his pants, freeing himself. His hand worked his shaft up and down as he imagined Yìchén's face at that moment, a scared little rabbit facing off with the big bad wolf. It wasn't bravery that drove Yìchén to lash out. It was fear and rage. Two emotions Chen found incredibly alluring.
He pumped his cock faster and harder. The pleasure of his orgasm built with every stroke until he reached his peak and his back arched. He grunted and groaned as thick ropes of cum squirted from his slit and landed in a mess over his shirt, pants, and hand. He lay in bed, panting and shaking from the ecstasy as it faded.
Yìchén, for him, was dangerous, because never had he wanted to claim a man so badly, and this particular man was off limits.
Damn it.
