Joanna
We took a cab to the little seaside town of Falmouth, which was just outside our resort. I was afraid we would stick out as tourists, but nobody looked twice at us as we walked along the street. We came to a relaxed-looking bar and popped inside. Landon ordered two beers at the bar, then brought them over to a private table in the corner with a view of the ocean.
"Okay," he said. "Tell me all about what my mom has done. Start at the beginning."
We were on our second round of beers by the time I finished my half of everything. Landon was laughing incredulously. "She's such a controlling woman. Back in high school, she would call my girlfriend's parents and coordinate with them to make sure we weren't sneaking out! I know she does it out of love, but… ugh. I didn't think she would poison one of her daughter-in-law's friends. Not to mention pushing you to give a speech at the wedding, and arranging your trip on the honeymoon…"
"I tried to act indignant when she told me, but she reminded me that I've been lying to her all week," I pointed out.
"True."
The two of us laughed together, truly relaxed for the first time since agreeing to be fake-boyfriend and fake-girlfriend. Without all the pressure of performing in front of everyone, I actually enjoyed Landon's company. He was a good guy, and after seeing his mom in action, I was finally understanding why he needed a fake girlfriend in the first place.
After finishing our beers, we stumbled upon a shop selling marijuana in all its various forms: buds, blunts, edibles, and THC-infused drinks. We bought some potent brownies, wolfed them down, and then decided to walk back to the resort via the beach.
"Okay, seriously though," I said. "What are we going to tell your family?"
"What about the truth?" he asked.
"That you bribed me to be your fake girlfriend in exchange for a job at your company, but now it has blown up in our faces and we also kind of like each other?"
"Yeah, it's kind of embarrassing," he admitted. "What about claiming we're in an open relationship? Polyamory is a lot more mainstream these days, and we've only been fake-dating two months. We could say we're not exclusive."
"I still come out looking like a slut in that scenario," I pointed out.
"We could tell everyone I have a girlfriend on the side, too. That way it's both of us, not just you."
"Maybe," I admitted. "You'd rather tell them that than the truth?"
"At this point, I'm ready to tell them something and move on."
"I'm with you," I replied. "Do you think they'll buy that story?"
"Who gives a shit? After we leave on Sunday, we won't have to deal with most of them again."
I laughed. It was actually kind of freeing that our lie had been exposed. Even if we avoided telling everyone the whole truth, the new story was a lot closer to reality.
"There's one thing we didn't discuss."
"What's that?" I asked.
"You had a threesome with Theo and Austin?"
I winced. "Yeah. Last night. Theo and I were going to hook up, but Austin was there, and he asked if he could watch us have sex."
Landon frowned at me. "Why would he ask that out of the blue?"
"Because he saw us having sex at the wedding."
Landon tripped and almost fell. "YOU HAD SEX AT THE WEDDING?"
"Hey, there's no need to shout."
Landon gestured. "There's nobody on the beach for a mile in either direction. When did you have sex at the wedding? You came back to the room with me."
"Theo and I snuck away right before the speeches."
Landon was laughing hard, now. "Oh my God. I remember thinking that Theo looked sweaty when he gave his Best Man speech. And your skin was flush too! I just assumed you were nervous because you weren't prepared to give a speech. How did Austin see you guys?"
"He was watching from the window outside."
"What a creep."
"He actually knew about Theo and me since the rehearsal dinner," I revealed. "He was kind of blackmailing me about it. He wanted me to give Marisa cold feet about the wedding. I pushed back, though. I put him in his place."
"And got even with him here at the resort," Landon said. "The alcohol swap, and the hike in the jungle. So, Austin knew about you and Theo. And he just flat-out asked if he could watch?"
"He suggested it like it was something simple, like choosing a movie to watch," I replied with a giggle. "Theo and I didn't mind. It was actually kind of fun having him watch. And then… he joined in."
I wondered what Landon's reaction would be. It was one thing to know that I'd slept with the two other men, but getting details about it? A lot of guys would freak out.
"Was it hot?" Landon asked, curiosity sparkling in his eyes.
"Oh my God, yes . It was so hot, so much more than we expected." I grinned at him. "You're actually kind of the reason it happened."
Landon stopped and turned toward me. "Really?"
"We had a conversation about threesomes," I reminded him. "You told me you had one in college. The threesome you didn't remember, where you had to fake your orgasm. That helped put the idea in my head. So when Austin eventually asked to watch…" I shrugged.
"Damn," he said. "I don't even remember my threesome, yet I'm helping create them for other people."
I was feeling good in so many different ways. Buzzed from the drinks, relieved that everything was out in the open. And Landon was standing there, the beach breeze ruffling his dark hair, looking like the most handsome man in Jamaica.
I stood on my tip-toes and kissed him. "Want me to invite you to the next threesome?"
"That would make it a foursome," he pointed out.
"You haven't answered my question," I said.
"Maybe. I'll think about it. But right now…" He looked both ways on the beach. "Right now I want you all to myself."
He cupped my chin and kissed me with more passion and eagerness than I'd shown him. Even though we'd kissed several times before, including alone in our suite this morning, this kiss felt different. Like the first kiss in a new line of kisses between the two of us.
A kiss of hope and promise.
"I think my weed brownie is kicking in," I breathed.
Landon smiled down at me. "Me too." He pushed me back with his lips until we reached a lone beach chair beneath a wide-branched tree. We sat down together, neither one of us wanting to break the kiss, but both of us eager to do more.
Feeling lightheaded and free, I reached between his legs until I found the bulge within. He was already hard, and his cock leaped at my touch. Landon responded by doing the same to me, reaching up underneath my dress and following my thigh up to my panties.
"What happened to not wanting to do this?" I asked. "You're not afraid of a little meaningless sex anymore?'
"There's one difference between this morning and now," he replied in a deep, lusty voice. "It's not meaningless anymore."
I let out a soft moan as he dove back into the kiss, his fingers finding my clit and pressing into it with the perfect amount of pressure. For a little while, dazed by the alcohol and weed and fresh ocean air, we made out on the chair like a pair of teenagers who didn't know how to take the next step.
But eventually, I knew I wanted more. And I sure as hell wasn't going to wait until we got back to our room.
I pushed Landon down onto the chair and threw a leg over him until I was straddling his crotch. "What if someone sees us?" he asked.
"I don't care," I replied, bending down to kiss him again.
He needed no other convincing: he hastily unzipped his shorts and yanked them down while I adjusted my dress, ensuring that the fabric concealed everything happening within. Then I felt his tip underneath me, pointed straight up by his fingers.
"Hurry," he breathed.
I lowered myself onto him, taking pleasure in just how wet I was, making our joining as easy as two lubricated machine parts fusing together for the first time.
There was no time to savor how amazing he felt—and he did feel amazing. I immediately rolled my hips back and forth, riding him on the chair with the sand between my toes. Landon let out a long moan and grabbed my waist, his hands guiding me up and down, demanding that I keep going.
Everything was fluid and perfect there on the beach. No distractions. No family. No stupid fucking lie that we had to tell everyone. Just a man, and a woman, and the undeniable chemistry between us finally being explored.
"Joanna…" he breathed.
I bent down to kiss him again, my tongue flicking out to meet his lips. That drove him wild—he sat upright, keeping me in his lap while kissing me more ferociously. The two of us ground together like that, and he cupped my breast through my shirt, bending his head down to kiss the cleavage popping out of my dress. I craned my head back and moaned, and began riding him faster than before.
For once, I wasn't in my head. I didn't have room for thoughts. There was only my body, and Landon's beneath me, and the beautiful, friction-filled way they came together right now.
I don't know which of us came first. His eyes widened, and his mouth hung open in a silent cry. My own body was being electrified at that moment, pleasure growing and spreading and conquering until there was nothing left. Then I was screaming, and Landon was too, as we stared into each other's eyes while we came together, the sounds of our love carried away by the soft rush of the ocean waves.
We clung to each other for a while, unwilling—and maybe unable—to let go. Landon's cock softened, but the rest of his body was hard and sturdy. I felt safe there, on his lap and in his arms. I was unemployed, and my near future was a giant fucking question mark. But for a few minutes on the beach, none of it mattered.
For a few minutes, we were perfect together.
"You've gotten good at pretending," Landon finally rumbled.
I pulled back and looked deeply into his eyes. "Trust me. There's no faking what I just felt."
He grinned. "Same."
