Hitting Up the Club

Scarlett

T wenty minutes later, Angela and I reach the club where we are going to hang out. It is a human club, and although Dad owns many establishments, a club is not one of them. I can't even imagine Dad owning a club, but then again, he's Elijah's dad and I wonder if he was even innocent in his youth. Can't trust a Westwood. I smile internally at that.

I brush a strand back, reminding myself that we will all need to keep ourselves in check. Well, right now, without the mind-link, I'm pretty human in terms of communicating. This really does suck.

The smell of alcohol, perfume and sweat is strong in the air. The music is loud, and the flashing lights seem somehow even brighter than usual. Why do people like clubs again?

"When was the last time we came here?" I call out to Angela, who is scanning the crowds, looking for the rest as she moves her hips to the beat. Elijah had wanted me to come with him, but I told him I'd be coming with Angela instead. I didn't trust myself alone with him, not without something happening.

"A few months ago?"

"Shocker," I reply sarcastically.

She rolls her eyes before jumping. "Oh, there they are!" she says, pointing to a booth in the corner. The table is already full of glasses and alcohol bottles. To my dismay, Fiona is sitting next to Elijah in a plunging pink dress, and when I say plunging, I mean that cut goes down to her stomach.

It's probably the raciest thing I've seen her in, but then again, I don't really go clubbing with her. On Elijah's other side is Keira in a sheer nude dress, with stickers covering her breasts. Some revealing dresses look classy and sexy and some just look trashy. And Keira's is definitely trashy.

I feel a sliver of anger flare up inside of me. Could he not find any other seat other than between the two?

"One second…" I say to Angela, stopping her from walking through the crowd, wanting to see if anything more will happen. I don't even know what I want to see, but Angela refuses to listen to me and drags me towards the table. Aaron is there with Monica straddling him, making out like there is no tomorrow. Hank and Liam also sit there drinks in hand, with two of Keira's friends, Lola and Miranda, both in skimpy dresses.

There are three other male wolves at the table, and I feel my blood run cold when I recognise them – Kyle, Andrew, and Callum. All three were part of the prank Hank had pulled on me.

Why are they here?

Although it felt like ages ago, it still makes me feel sick. I wonder if even one of them remembers what they had done… Hank sure does. I don't like that feeling of helplessness that they had instilled in me, one that now returns will full vengeance.

Callum is currently making out with Miranda. His hand slipped under her dress. And I am sure they'll soon be gone from the party if things continue like this.

"Scarlett, you made it!" Liam says, flashing me a smile. Hank turns his eyes on me too as Elijah looks up quickly. His eyes run over me, his eyes swirling with flecks of deep cobalt, causing my heart to skip a beat.

I sense someone watching and quickly look away. There are too many eyes here.

"You look great," Hank says with a smirk as he raises his eyebrows at me suggestively. I shoot him a glare as I pick up one of the bottles and take a gulp.

"Piss off, Hank."

"What's with the anger, gorgeous? I'm just complimenting you," Hank says in disbelief.

You're a fucking good actor.

Elijah clenches his jaw as he leans forward.

"Back off, Hank," he growls, his Alpha aura clear in his tone.

"Fine," Hank scoffs, wringing his hands before grabbing his glass.

A tense silence falls over the table before Fiona looks up at me and smiles, scooting impossibly closer to Elijah. She's fucking leaning right on him now.

"Come sit with us," she offers, smiling sweetly.

I frown. Why doesn't she just climb into his lap instead? Her breasts are pressed right up against his arm, and I don't miss Keira's slimy hand on Elijah's other arm.

He sure wouldn't like it if men had their hands on me. So, in what fucking world does he think this is ok?

I glance at him but refuse to meet his eyes before I shake my head.

"No thanks, I'm going to get a drink," I reply harshly, turning and walking away through the crowd, not wanting to spend another minute near them.

Hank

I lean back in my seat, watching Elijah's eyes follow her. How is no one seeing this?

Every single man has their eyes on her, and it's pissing Elijah off. His aura making the rest of the boys at the table look at him.

"Keep your fucking eyes to yourselves," he warns us dangerously.

"Come on, she's fair game," I reply lightly, my eyes glinting. His eyes meet mine. The cold dominant power of him being a fucking alpha forces me to look down.

I detest the power Elijah has over me.

"Show some respect, Hank," Liam says, frowning.

Fuck off, prick.

I glance at Angela, who is looking at Elijah intently. Does she know their dirty little secret? It could totally fucking ruin him.

"She's off-limits, understood?" Elijah snarls.

The boys nod in unison as Aaron, who was practically fucking his woman, now lifts her off his lap, observing his buddy.

"And stop fucking touching me," Elijah adds, glaring at Keira.

"I'm sure you'd enjoy my touch if it was elsewhere," Keira whispers, winking at him. He simply frowns, crossing his arms, his eyes once more on Scarlett, who's almost at the bar.

I got to admit, the way her ass moves, you do just want to pound it. I can't really blame Elijah.

It was his conversation with Indigo that I had first overheard. Both were so absorbed in their conversation that they had not sensed my presence. I had been sitting against the tree, having fallen asleep when the sound of their voice had awoken me.

Anger and jealousy had consumed me, and even now those emotions eat me up inside like a festering plague.

The nerve of him to think he can have her. He's the future Alpha, the one who is having an affair with his sister.

I'm just biding my time, because with that information I could blackmail Scarlett. Especially if I told her it would ruin her Fuckboy Alpha's reputation before he even officially gets to become Alpha.

And I saw them in the kitchen. I have enough proof to torment that stupid bitch and get her to do whatever the fuck I want.

I smirk to myself. I hate her high and mighty attitude; the way she acts like she is better than everyone. All I want is to use her, show her that she is nothing more than a slut to be used, something that can easily be replaced. Because although I hate to admit it, we can all agree on the fact that she is one gorgeous she-wolf, with a body we would all love to ravish.

"Let's play a game," I suggest.

"Ain't it too early to play a game?" Aaron remarks.

"Let's play!" Monica waves him off.

"Truth or dare," I say, pushing aside some of the bottles and taking up an empty bottle. "We spin, and whoever it lands on, we ask them truth or dare… Angela, want to call your friend over?"

She stands up. "Totally. I'll be right back!"

"I'm not sure this game is a good idea," Liam says hesitantly.

"Live a little man," I reply as Angela nods in agreement before she walks off, and I glance at the bottle in the centre. Now all I need is for it to land on either Elijah or Scarlett…

A few minutes later, Scarlett and Angela are back, and they take a seat. Scarlett's frowning slightly, but she seems to be calmer than earlier as she sips on her drink.

We begin playing and Monica stands, and it lands on Angela. She asks her something that I don't bother listening to, as long as the game continues until I get the chance I want.

It's Keira's turn, and it lands on Elijah.

Lucky girl, make it a good one, I say to her via the mind-link. She simply smirks, nodding.

"Ok, Elijah, truth or dare?"

"Truth," Elijah replies moodily.

Keira smiles as she leans forward. "What's your body count? I mean, how many women have you blessed with pleasure, and I mean full-on sex?"

"I don't really know. I don't keep track."

Ah, good question, Keira, good question.

"Sure, you do, man. What is it, like over 150 now? Come on bro, be proud, be proud," Aaron says, downing another glass.

Well, that sure means he doesn't know their secret.

I glance at the siblings, seeing how Scarlett's skin looks just a little pale, and Elijah looks pissed.

"Doesn't fucking matter. I'm out of this fucking game."

"Oh, come on, it's an accomplishment. You should be proud. Not many men get to say they have enjoyed that many women, and you're single. So why not mingle?" I remark lightly.

"Wow, that's a lot of women…" Keira says, looking at Fiona.

"Yeah, but he didn't go back to the majority of them," Fiona whispers defensively, even with the music blaring loudly, we can all hear it.

That's another thing that's pissed me off. My sister's fucking tolerated his shit for so long, yet he cast her aside and hurt her again and again. Yet she still loves him.

He thinks he can use women however he wants… I wonder how he'll feel when his woman is used.

The game continues, and soon the turn I'm waiting for comes, and the bottle I just spun lands on Scarlett. Her eyes flash silver before I even open my mouth.

Careful there, make sure you don't fucking piss her off, Elijah warns, his threat only irritates me further, but I don't say that to him.

I wouldn't dream of it, I answer through the mind-link, masking my anger. Of course, he's going to side with the woman he's screwing.

"Alright, truth or dare?"

Either one will not be easy.

"Dare," she answers, not even bothering to look at me.

"Hmm, I'm so bad with dares," I say, playing the part as I sit back and look around. "Alright!" I slap my thigh as I sit forward again.

"What?" she asks venomously.

"I dare you… to kiss one of the guys here. You can pick any one of us. I'll be nice." I drag my words out in a singsong manner. "Or you can drop out, if that's easier. You know, run from the situation?"

Our eyes meet and I know she knows exactly what the fuck I'm hinting at. Just how she ran that night.

"Shut the fuck up," she snarls, looking around. I can hear her heart racing, and feel Elijah's rage as she looks at the men.

"It's just a game, Red, you don't need to do it," he says icily.

She frowns at him. "I think I can decide what to do for myself, right?" she counters irritably. I glance up, surprised at the hostility in her tone and realise she's glaring at the way Fiona is stuck to Elijah's side.

Ah, jealousy makes us do wild things.

"So, what's it going to be?" I ask. "Or better, the question is who?"

"Are you really going to do this?" Elijah asks her quietly.

Their eyes meet and I love how there's a glimmer of surprise in his. Hmm, seems she really might just mean something to him. Even better for me then.

She doesn't respond to Elijah. Suddenly he sits forward, reaching past Fiona and grabs hold of Scarlett's chin. Even I'm fucking surprised when he forces her to look at him, her eyes huge as he leans over and kisses her on the fucking lips.

Silence falls across the table. As Fiona gasps, Angela almost drops her drink and Liam, the loser, looks devastated. Elijah moves back.

"Happy? This game is fucking over."

"You kissed her," Keira says, shocked.

Elijah turns to her. "And?"

"She's your sister?!"

"Stepsister. Not blood, who fucking cares? No one else here is allowed to fucking kiss her," he snarls.

Scarlett stands up. "I need another drink," she mutters. I smirk watching her. Her eyes meet mine and I see the glimmer of fear in them.

Do I know? That's the question in them.

She turns away quickly.

"Scarlett!" Angela calls, about to get up, when Scarlett shakes her head.

"I'm fine, I just need a drink. Don't follow me, babe." I hear her say.

I smile internally from where I'm sitting opposite Elijah, who is fucking enraged, his cold eyes piercing into mine.

I want a word with you in my fucking office tonight.

Sure thing, Alpha, I reply with a smirk. He knows I know – he knows I've seen them. But he doesn't fucking know I have photographs that I will use to blackmail Scarlett. And I think I better move up my plan to tonight.

Before I lose the chance entirely.
