Chapter 16
CHAPTER 16
Nati
I should be nervous being in one of the secret rooms with Meic after our conversation in the pub, but that’s definitely not how I’m feeling at all.
I’m excited. I don’t really know what to expect from the knot, but I’m intrigued and I know he wouldn’t do anything to hurt me.
Meic reaches out and pulls me to him. I reach up to touch his cheek, smiling up at him and feeling everything in my body start to respond to his.
He leans in and brushes his lips against mine tenderly. There’s an undercurrent of desire that there’s no way I can ignore, but there’s more than that too. Not that I doubted it.
I break away from him and pull him over to where the blankets and cushions are waiting for us. It’s a good thing we thought to set up before we went for our date because I don’t think I’d want to have to do it now.
He sits down and pulls me to him, kissing me again while I let my hands roam over his chest. I toy with the buttons of his shirt, popping each of them out in turn and pushing it over his shoulders and down to the ground. He helps with my dress, and soon all of our clothes are thrown away to the floor.
He grazes his lips against my throat, and I let out a small cry, not putting up a single protest as he moves down my body, paying attention to the spots he’s learned I’m most sensitive.
I part my legs before he’s even there and he settles between them, looking up with a mischievous expression on his face, like he’s going to do everything he can to drive me over the edge.
And I welcome it.
The moment his tongue touches me, all thoughts flee, and I find myself reaching down, holding one of his horns as he sends me closer to the edge.
He finds a particularly sensitive spot and I let out a gasp, closing my legs around his head. But he just takes it as the encouragement it actually is, and I grow closer and closer to the edge.
A loud groan rips from my throat as my whole body begins to shake and any remaining thought erases itself from my mind.
I collapse back onto the cushions, breathing heavily.
Meic appears beside me with a large grin on his face. “I love seeing you like this.”
I give a lazy laugh. “I know.” I reach up to check my turban is still in place, having gotten used to wearing it a bit more around him now.
I shift over onto my side and reach out to touch his chest, smoothing my hand over his skin and enjoying the contrast between my pale shade, and his darker skin. His breathing is already ragged, probably because he knows exactly what’s on my mind. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since he told me in the pub.
Slowly, I reach out to take his hard length in my hand. Even though it’s far from the first time I’ve touched him like this, something about the gesture feels new. Like I’m exploring something I haven’t before. Which I suppose is kind of true.
My fingers find the knot and I trace them along it, feeling Meic swell and grow beneath my touch.
He groans, his eyes closing and a pained expression on his face.
“Tell me more about it,” I murmur, both curious and wanting to know what to expect.
“There’s no going back once I’m inside you.” His voice is gravelly when he says it.
“I know, you told me in the pub. What exactly does that mean?”
He clears his throat. “I’m guessing this is your first time?”
“Sleeping with someone who has a knot? Yeah, this is a first.” And it should scare me a lot more than it does. But instead of being scared, I feel a new depth of desire that I don’t think I’ve ever felt before.
“We don’t have to...”
“I know we don’t have to do anything. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to. Or that I’m not curious.” I trail my hand down. “How does it work?” I continue moving my hand, not fast enough that I’ll risk him finding his release, but enough that he knows what I’m doing.
“You really want me to say it?”
“Not a fan of dirty talk, Meic? You surprise me,” I tease.
He chuckles. “I suppose I was thinking about it in more clinical terms.”
“Where’s the fun in that?” The knot seems to swell again, making me think about what it’ll feel like inside me. My desire deepens even further.
Meic shivers. “You want to know?”
I meet his gaze. “Yes.”
“I think I’m harder now than when I was made of stone,” he murmurs, his breathing coming a little erratically as I continue to explore.
“Tell me about the knot, Meic,” I say, teasing it with my fingers.
He clears his throat. “You’re making it very hard to focus on anything.”
“Meic.”
“Right. Yes. The knot.” He sucks in a breath as I find a particularly sensitive spot. “So once we’re...you know...”
I stop what I’m doing and pull my hand back, causing an expression of disappointment to cross Meic’s face.
“Why did you stop?” he asks.
“Because the way you’re talking makes it sound like you haven’t done this before.”
He clears his throat. “I suppose I haven’t. With the knot, I mean.”
“I thought you said that it wasn’t going to be possible to go back once you’re inside me?”
“It’s not going to be,” he says, taking a deep breath and reaching out to trail a finger over my bare shoulder. “I can control it most of the time. But I just know I’m not going to be able to this time. You’re my fated mate, Nati. You’ve been driving me crazy for months, there’s no way I’m going to be able to stop the knot from swelling and anchoring me inside you.”
I suck in a sharp breath. “You think you’re going to lose control?”
“I know I’m going to,” he responds. He leans in and kisses my neck. “You’re beautiful, and sexy, and you’ve occupied all of my thoughts. You don’t know how many nights I’ve spent imagining what it would be like to be inside you. To let go and know that we’re going to fit together so perfectly.”
“You don’t know that.”
“I do,” he responds. “How can we not when you’re as captivating as you are?”
“Enough smooth talking. Unless you’re going to tell me how the knot works. Though I’m just as open to you showing me.”
“Is that so?” His breath tickles against my lips.
“Yes. You’ve made me wait long enough.” I reach down between us and find him again. “You’re harder than before.”
“You just said you want me to show you how my knot works, what did you think would happen?”
My lips quirk up into a smile. “So, show me.”
For a moment, I think he’s going to stall again, but instead, he rolls over and grabs a foil packet.
“Is that going to work?” I murmur.
He nods. “Specially made. I can show you the box...”
“Later,” I murmur. My breathing is already ragged, and he hasn’t even touched me yet.
I watch with wide eyes as he tears open the package and rolls the condom on, doing something at the bottom that I assume means he’s trying to make sure the knot is covered.
“Are you sure you want this?”
“Will you just have sex with me already?” I ask.
He chuckles. “All right.”
“What’s the best position?” Now that I realise it really is happening, I feel a little more nervous than before. Excited, but nervous.
“Maybe you should be on top, then you can control it,” he says.
I lick my lips and sit up, my whole body thrumming with need.
Meic sits up properly and braces himself against the wall. Another bolt of desire courses through me and I move to straddle him.
He guides himself to my entrance and his gaze meets mine as I lower myself onto him. With every inch that disappears into me, I feel the connection between us more and more intensely.
The knot presses against my entrance. There’s a hint of pressure, and for a dreadful moment, I think it’s not going to fit. Except that it does, and the way it presses against me is unbelievable. I let out a small moan.
“Stay still,” Meic murmurs, his eyes glazed over with desire.
“What...”
Before he can answer with his words, I figure out what he’s telling me and I feel the knot swelling within me, getting bigger than it already was.
I cry out, the feeling intense and like nothing I’ve ever experienced. My whole body is on edge, and I feel as if a single touch is going to be all that I need in order to get pushed over the edge.
“Meic,” I murmur. “That’s...amazing.”
He chuckles, the sound vibrating through me. “I’m glad you think so.” He reaches out to cup my cheek and draws me in, kissing me deeply. The change of angle makes the knot press into me in a new way.
His other hand grips my hip and moves me.
I let out a loud cry, breaking our kiss. He encourages me to rock slowly over him, each movement giving me a new sense of pleasure and causing my release to start to build up inside me.
And I can already tell it’s going to be more intense than anything I’ve ever experienced before.
I press my hand against the wall and use it to start moving faster, rocking my hips back and forth and increasing the pressure. I’m barely aware of Meic’s hands on my body, worshipping every part of me. The only thing I can focus on is how good this feels.
There’s no stopping the release as it crashes over me. There’s no warning, and no stopping it as waves of pleasure rip through me and I scream loudly, not caring if anyone overhears me.
The entire academy could burst in right now and I wouldn’t even notice.
Meic holds me in place even as I come back down from the high, and I can feel the knot pulsing within me, seeming as if it’s getting bigger with every moment.
Meic reaches up and touches my face, his breathing ragged and his eyes heavy with need, but there’s care in them too.
“Are you okay?” he asks, his voice scratchy and coming across as if he’s having a difficult time focusing.
“Mmm.” I lean in and capture his lips with mine, putting everything into it that I can’t put into words right now.
He moves beneath me, and I let out a gasp, feeling him within me.
His hands slip under my ass, and he flips us over so we’re lying on the bed. His hand trails over my waist, leaving tingles and a deep pit of need within me.
“Are you ready to go again?” he murmurs.
“Aren’t we still going the first time?”
“Kind of,” Meic responds. “Kind of not.”
I press my hand against his chest. “You’re going to have to elaborate.”
“I can’t,” he responds. “First time with the knot, remember?”
“Then I guess we’re going to have to try a few things.”
A satisfied grin forms on his face. “How did I get lucky enough to find you?”
“Well, you say I’m your fated mate,” I respond. “So I’d say fate is what made you lucky enough to find me.”
“Then I owe fate a lot,” he murmurs.
“You and me both.” I wrap my legs around him, pulling him deeper.
Meic groans and pushes into me, sending all rational thoughts scattering from my brain. I never thought anyone would fit me this way, that I’d feel as if I’d found someone who could set me alight.
And it’s even more amazing that it’s Meic making me feel this way. I suppose the pull towards him that I’ve always had makes a lot more sense now.
I give into the sensation of being with him, glad that this wasn’t going to end for a while to come.
