Chapter 29 Miguel

Miguel was growing increasingly impatient as the minutes ticked by, longing to arrive at the party. The excitement ran through his body, causing his heart to race and breath to quicken, reminiscent of the anxiety attacks he'd had. In the past, they were mostly related to fear rather than something positive. Was he afraid to attend the party? What exactly was wrong with him? He was too enthusiastic, if that were even a thing.

"Where is this place?" Miguel asked.

"It's deep in the woods, away from the public." Daddy Shamus placed a hand on his thigh. "We're almost there, love."

Miguel silently questioned Daddy Shamus's sense of direction, unsure if he should voice his concerns about being lost. He gazed at the unfamiliar surroundings, streets without stores or houses and tons of trees on the side of the road, with streams here and there. The scent of freshly cut grass wafted through the air, mingling with the scent of wildflowers.

"Have you ever been to this place?" Miguel finally asked.

"Yes, with the last guy who dumped me."

"Did he like it?"

"Yes, he did and made friends."

"How did you meet him?"

"I met him at a gay mixer at a friend's home in Princeton. He's from the Princeton area, but he doesn't go to school there."

"What if he shows up?"

"I never thought of that. He means nothing to me anymore. I have you. My feelings for you are so deep, my love."

Miguel worried Shamus's ex could attend this party, but it was too late to back out. He reminded himself Daddy Shamus's love for him was unconditional, regardless of the presence of his ex. He knew all that to be true because he felt it deep within his soul.

"What's his name?" he asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

"Timmy."

"What does he look like?" Miguel's heart pounded in his chest, reluctant to confront him. Yet, amidst the tension, he found an inner peace in the unwavering support of Daddy Shamus by his side. The faint scent of aftershave lingered in the car as they drove, the sound of their synchronized breaths providing a sense of reassurance.

"He has blond hair and blue eyes, very skinny."

"He sounds like a GQ model and very cute." Miguel had a tough time believing anyone could find him cute. There might be some threatening competition to contend with. Miguel was convinced that if he were to be judged solely on his appearance, he would surely fail.

"Sorry, Miguel, you have me and my ginger hair to love you."

"Awe, Daddy Shamus, I love your ginger hair and I love you so much." Miguel kissed Daddy Shamus's cheek.

Gravel crunched under the tires, and Miguel craned his neck to take in the sight before him. They got out of the car and Daddy Shamus carried the bag with Miguel's kitty outfit in it. As Miguel inhaled the air, the pollen tickled his nose and caused him to sneeze. Shamus pulled a rusty iron gate open. Exhilaration coursed through Miguel's veins, overpowering any trace of fear. This was his first party with daddies and their boys, and he could hear music playing in the cabin. A crooked path, lined with orange and red wildflowers, led them towards the cabin. It wasn't grand, but it had a certain rustic charm. Weathered red logs supported the cabin, and a porch stretched across the front. A single flickering lantern cast an amber glow on the red paint peeling off the front door.

They climbed onto the porch together. The sounds of laughter and animated chatter reached Miguel's ears. Just then, the door creaked open, revealing a handsome man with a booming laugh that seemed to echo from the trees themselves. "Daddy Shamus! Glad you could make it with your new boy," the man said.

"I'm glad you called me about the party."

He turned to Miguel. "I'm Daddy George and my boy's name is Sammy. You'll meet him inside. He's the red kitty."

"George, this is my boy, Miguel."

"Come in and let me explain what's going on."

They followed him inside to a small room. "Tonight is a party for Daddies and kitties. Some daddies are Daddy Doms, and the boys are a mix of littles, boys, and subs."

"That's great. This is Miguel's first Daddy and boy party."

"I think you'll have fun. After you get dressed, you'll go to the Kitty Room to get to know the kitties. They're six counting you tonight. Each kitty is dressed in a different color."

"Miguel hasn't met any boys who have daddies yet."

"He needs to have friends in the lifestyle. Follow me to the dressing room."

"Thank you, sir." Miguel felt an overwhelming sense of anticipation as he practically floated to the dressing room.

"When you go to the Kitty Room, use only the green furniture and bowls."

"Yes, sir."

The party was already in full swing, but Miguel's focus shifted to the upcoming costume change.

When they were alone, Daddy Shamus asked, "Do you want to wear the butt plug tail or the one I can pin on your G-string?"

"I want the plug and each time I feel it, when I move, I'll think of you."

Daddy Shamus's face turned red, then he bent over and kissed Miguel. "I love you more each day."

He retrieved the bottle of lube and carefully applied a small amount to Miguel's intimate area. He slowly inserted the plug attached to the fluffy tail into Miguel. Daddy Shamus washed his hands in the sink, then he helped Miguel finish dressing.

"How do I look?"

"So very cute." Daddy Shamus played with his tail. "Message me if you need me for anything."

"The tail feels so good when I move." Miguel was more than ready to meet the others.

"Get on all fours. You will go to the Kitty Room to meet the other kitties."

"Now, I'm nervous." With a quick motion, Miguel dropped to all fours, feeling the weight of his body shift as he prepared for Daddy Shamus to walk him to the Kitty Room on a leash.

"Don't be. I think you'll have fun."

Daddy Shamus walked Miguel on the hard wooden floor to a door labeled "Kitty Room." He was glad Daddy Shamus had added lime green knee pads to ease the pressure on his knees. Daddy Shamus opened the door and guided him into the room, filled with the scent of fresh paint mingling with the smell of new rubber toys.

Six brightly colored kitty beds created a cheerful circle in the center. One bed gleamed a fiery red, another a cool ocean blue. A grassy green bed sat next to a sunshine yellow one, while a juicy orange and a royal purple completed the rainbow ring. Each kitty lay on the color matching his kitty outfit. Miguel eyed the empty green one. The beds were small, but could each fit one kitty. Even the sheets and pillowcases matched.

Daddy George's red kitty chewed on a plastic fishy toy, while the purple-colored kitty meticulously groomed its tail. The bright yellow kitten wrestled playfully with a plush mouse. A fuzzy orange marmalade kitten had a matching stuffie in his kitty bed.

Against one wall were scratching posts and a box of kitty toys. In the corner, a table overflowed with colorful crayons and kitty-themed coloring books. A blue kitty perched on a blue chair glared at them as they entered the room. With each stroke of his crayon, the picture transformed from dull to brilliant blue.

"This is Miguel Reyes, who is my new boy." Daddy Shamus paused uncomfortably and looked at the angry blond kitty at the table.

Daddy Shamus showed Miguel the snack area. The bowls lined the wall, two bowls of each color. One bowl was filled to the brim with water, while the other bowl overflowed with a tempting assortment of grapes and nuts.

"Your bowls are green."

Miguel smiled at him, eager to absorb every detail about the room. He wanted to make his Daddy Shamus proud of him. This party marked their first time venturing out as a couple with other daddies and boys. It was something Miguel had never experienced before; he was stepping into a whole new world. Bently preferred to avoid parties; he relished the vibrant atmosphere of gay bars for their dates. Miguel didn't know any boys who had daddies.

"The rules for this room are on the wall. Let's go over them." Daddy Shamus pointed to a colorful poster.

"One. You may talk.

Two. No fighting or insulting.

Three. Must remain on all fours unless coloring at the table.

Four. Call or message your daddy if you have a problem."

"Thank you, Daddy Shamus."

After removing the leash, he placed it on the floor, then leaned down and planted a soft kiss on Miguel's lips before walking away.
