CHAPTER TEN

OWEN

This was it, our wedding day! I could hardly believe that we would go to bed tonight as husband and wife. I tried to get her to give me a hint about what she picked out, but she refused. I looked up and saw Jake coming in with my boutineer for my suit. His was already pinned. My girl liked pink. Our little princess was dressed in a pink gown with a pink bow in her hair. She looked precious.

“Are you nervous?” he asked as I bounced on my feet. I guess it looked that way. I was just ready to do this.

“Nah, I’m just ready to make it official.” I told him as he opened the door. My dad came up and told me it was time. We went down and took our places and waited for the music to start. First her friend Lori walked down the aisle with our daughter in her arms in lieu of a bouquet. She had a little kissing ball hanging from her hand. Then the bridal march started, and the doors opened. I almost fell over when I saw Mary Jane in her wedding gown. She looked absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t wait to peel that sexy ass dress off of her later. Her father walked her to me and gave her away.

“I always knew this day was coming. Take care of my girls.” He mumbled trying not to cry.

“You know I will.” I told him. We said our vows and the preacher pronounced us husband and wife.

Our first dance was to ‘I need you’ by LeAnn Rimes. I felt like I had finally found my happily ever after in the arms of my high school sweetheart. I knew I would always be safe with him. We would have a beautiful life together filled with laughter, love and lots of babies.
