Epilogue
THREE MONTHS LATER
CARLY
Carly stood in front of Gabby and swiped a fluffy makeup brush over her cheek. It was Gabby and Sean’s big day, and Carly had cried when Gabby had asked her to do her makeup for it. Now, she was standing in front of one of her closest friends, doing the makeup for her wedding day.
The past three months had been a whirlwind. After they had driven Nash home from the hospital, Damian drove her to her townhome and helped her pack up as much stuff as would fit in his Jeep and her car so she could start living with him permanently. He had in fact, spanked her “bratty ass” when they got home, but it was a yummy spanking that had ended in multiple orgasms.
Damian hired movers to move the rest of her stuff the following weekend, and she had been blissfully happy living with him ever since. Every day that she got to wake up in his arms was like a dream. Carly had been worried that once they moved in together and were around each other all the time that he would become a different person, but he hadn’t. He was still the same man and Daddy that she had fallen in love with, and she kept falling more in love with him every day.
“You look beautiful, Gabby,” she said as she worked.
Gabby smiled up at her, and Carly grinned. The woman was practically glowing with excitement to marry Sean. Carly could already picture spending the rest of her own life with Damian as his wife and his little girl, even though they had only been together for a few months. The more time she spent in Little space, the more she loved and embraced it. And the more she loved having a Daddy Dom.
Greyson had been thrilled to say “I told you so”, and she was counting down the days until he retired from the military. She missed him dearly, but they still talked all the time. Only she cursed a lot less at him because he always told on her to Damian when she did. Big dumb, mean, brothers.
“You look beautiful, too. I’m sorry you have to do my makeup and be one of my bridesmaids,” Gabby said.
Carly shook her head and grinned.
“I am thrilled that I get to do both today.”
And she really was. Carly had mostly given up doing makeup for celebrities. After everything that had happened with James, Sandra had been arrested. The hitman who had been arrested the day of the incident on the side of the road identified Sandra as the one who handed him the envelope of cash in order to kill Carly and told him to make it a painful death. After she had been taken to jail, they discovered that she was also in trouble for tax evasion, so it would likely be a very long time before the crazy woman got out of jail. Carly hoped that she was getting the help that she needed, though.
Carly had had enough of dealing with celebrities. She was perfectly happy doing makeup for excited brides on the weekends and had mostly started focusing on filming tutorials on YouTube, which she loved doing.
During one of her film sessions, Damian had accidentally walked into the room, not realizing that she was filming, and she had talked him into sitting down and letting her do his makeup for the video. Her fans went crazy, and she had gotten over five million views on that video alone. Women had gone nuts for Damian, and she loved that she got to claim him as her man to the world.
On the next makeup tutorial that she filmed, Damian insisted on doing her makeup, and surprisingly she only looked like a low-key hooker by the time he was done. That video had gone viral as well, and she was starting to get offers from several large cosmetic companies to create her own palette for their brand. She was so freaking excited. Of course, she named one of the eyeshadow colors Daddy and another one Nash.
There was a knock on the dressing room door, and Maddie rushed to open it, letting Damian inside. He walked over to Carly and kissed her gently on the temple. She knew he was kissing her carefully so as not to mess up her makeup.
“You look beautiful, baby doll.”
Carly could feel a blush spreading across her chest at his compliment. He was always saying such sweet things to her. She didn’t know if she would ever get used to those compliments, but she sure loved hearing them.
Damian turned to Gabby and reached out to squeeze her hand.
“I would hug you, but I don’t want to mess anything up. You look stunning, though, and Sean is a very lucky man to have you. I’m so happy for you, Gabby.”
She smiled and blushed as well, and Carly grinned. Gabby was one of the sweetest women she’d ever met, and when she had told Carly about her life growing up, Carly had been in tears. She was so proud of Gabby’s strength, and they had become very close.
Maddie hip-checked Damian and cleared her throat dramatically.
“Since you’re handing out compliments, here I am!”
Damian looked down at Maddie who was giving him a mischievous look and shook his head.
“You look as cute as a bugs’ butt, Maddie.”
She immediately grinned but then her eyebrows drew together.
“Hey! That doesn’t sound like a compliment. Bug’s butts aren’t cute.”
Everyone in the room, including Lainey, burst out laughing. Damian wrapped his arm around Maddie’s shoulders and pulled her to his side.
“You know I’m teasing. You look beautiful. All of you do. Lainey, you look so elegant, and I expect you to save me a dance for later.”
Lainey beamed up at Damian and nodded her head. Carly knew that Lainey struggled with coming to events like this where she couldn’t dance with her husband, but she was to the point of counting the days down to when she would get to see him again, so she had been a little more cheerful lately.
One of the things that Carly loved so much about Damian was how caring he was with all of the other Littles. He cared for them as though they were family, and it warmed her heart that he was such a good man. He constantly looked out for Lainey and checked in with her often to make sure she didn’t need anything, and he would even go to her house to just mow her lawn sometimes so that she didn’t have to.
Damian’s brother Kane and his Little, Haylee, came up from Oregon for the wedding along with another one of his friends, Luke, and his Little, Ally. The two couples were staying at Damian’s house for the week, and Carly had been having a blast having two other Littles to play with. Ally was sweet and seemed to fall into a younger age when she was in Little space, while Haylee and Carly were very similar in their Little ages.
They all had fun together, even though at first Carly had felt overwhelmed with having so many friends who were Littles. But the more time she spent with them, the more she came to love that side of herself. It was as though she was able to be her truest self during those times.
Carly finished Gabby’s makeup, and the women pushed Damian out of the dressing room so they could all help her into her wedding gown. Once she was fully dressed, and her veil was in place, everyone stood back and stared at her in awe. She was a beautiful, elegant bride, and she was beaming from the inside out.
Carly’s heart felt like it swelled three sizes as she pictured herself standing before her friends on her wedding day. She could hardly wait until she got that special day, and she hoped upon all of the stars in the sky that when it came that she would be walking down the aisle toward Damian.
A soft knock on the door came, and Carly went to open it to a middle-aged man in a tux. His name was Raff, and she had met him at the rehearsal dinner. He had introduced himself to Carly as Gabby’s dad-by-choice. If Gabby hadn’t already explained who Raff was before that encounter, she would have been confused, but instead, she had teared up and hugged the man. Gabby had told her that Raff had taken her in off the streets and cared for her until she had moved up to Seattle.
“You look handsome,” Carly said with a smile.
Raff stepped into the room and beamed with pride.
“Thank you, sweetheart. You all look beautiful. Is my favorite girl ready to get married?”
Gabby nodded excitedly, and the women all filed out of the room with Gabby and Raff following behind them.
DAMIAN
The ceremony was stunning but what was even more stunning was watching Carly with all of her friends. She looked beautiful in the light pink silk dress that all of the bridesmaids had worn but on his girl, it looked extra good - in his opinion. He hadn’t been able to keep his eyes off of her all night, which wasn’t really all that unusual. She was like a magnet that he just couldn’t pull away from.
Everyone ate dinner and visited while soft music played in the background and champagne flowed freely. It felt like a magical night between friends, and Damian knew how over the moon Sean was to marry Gabby. He knew it was the same feeling he would have when he married Carly.
Even though they had only been living together for a little over three months, he knew she was the one that he would spend the rest of his life with. She was the most wonderful human being he had ever met and the most adorable Little that he had ever met.
As she was settling into her Little side, Carly was becoming a bit more sassy and outgoing which he actually loved. She challenged him and kept him on his toes all the time with her little pranks. He had woken up more than once with his toenails painted hot pink. He kept telling her that the brighter the color that she painted on his nails, the brighter her bottom would be after he was done spanking it. Damian was pretty sure she took that as a challenge because the next time she did it, she applied bright red polish onto his toes. Little brat.
He had visited a jewelry store after their first month of living together and had been holding onto the engagement ring that he’d had designed just for her until the time was right. He didn’t want to do it on Sean and Gabby’s special night, but the time was coming in the very near future that he would ask Carly to be his wife forever. He belonged to her in every single way, and she belonged to him.
Looking over at his little girl, he smiled as her infectious laugh filled the air around him. When her eyes met his, her laugh quieted, and she smiled softly.
“May I have this dance, baby doll?”
Damian stood and held out his hand for her to take. Carly didn’t hesitate when she reached out and put her hand in his.
“You can have every dance, Daddy,” she said quietly.
Pulling her body up against his, Damian began to move with her in his arms. She fit him perfectly as though God had made her specifically for him.
“I haven’t been able to keep my eyes off of you all night. You look beautiful, Carly.”
Her wide eyes peered up at him, and he could see the arousal in her gaze. It made his cock twitch.
“Thank you. You look so handsome in your tux. Maybe I need to take you to more formal events because this look on you… it’s really doing it for me.”
Damian threw his head back and laughed. As he had said, she always kept him on his toes.
“Oh yeah? I guess I’ll just have to dress like this all the time around the house then.”
Carly grinned and bobbed her head up and down.
“Works for me, Daddy.”
They swayed to the music for most of the night, and it was nearly midnight by the time Carly had yawned so many times that he insisted that it was time to go since it was way past her bedtime. She had only slightly argued, but when he picked her up and carried her against his chest to the car, she snuggled in against him.
“I can’t wait to marry you, Daddy,” she said in a sleepy haze.
Damian reached in and buckled her seatbelt for her, pressing a kiss to her lips as he did so.
“I can’t wait to marry you either, baby doll.”
Carly smiled and laid her head back on the headrest, letting out a content sigh.
“Let’s go home, Daddy.”
“Okay, baby. Let’s go home.”
Carly was snoring before he had even merged onto the freeway. During the entire way home, Damian thought about her words. She couldn’t wait to marry him. They had talked about marriage and had both agreed it was something they wanted but hearing her say that she couldn’t wait to marry him was the icing on the most delicious cake in the world.
He carried her inside and up the stairs when they got home, not putting her down until they were in their bedroom. Setting her down gently on the bed, Damian went to his dresser and opened the top drawer, pulling out the tiny box that had been sitting in there for months.
Walking back over to the bed, he knelt next to the edge of the bed and stared at his sleepy little girl.
“Baby doll,” he said softly.
Carly stirred and opened her eyes to look at him.
“I have something I need to ask you. I had planned on doing something big and elaborate but I can’t wait another minute to ask you this.”
Her eyes widened, and she moved to sit up on the bed. When she was sitting up, she stared at the small box in his hand and gasped.
“I love you, Carly, and I can’t even imagine my life without you. You are the most precious person in the world to me, and as caveman as it might sound, I want you to have my last name. I want to be your husband and your Daddy.”
Holding up the box for her, his hands trembled slightly as he opened it.
“Will you marry me?”
Tears streamed down her face as she leaped into his arms, knocking him off balance so he fell backward with her on top of him.
“Yes, I’ll marry you! That’s not even a question. Yes, yes, yes!”
Damian chuckled and wrapped his arms around her so he could pull her up with him from the floor where he landed. Setting her on the bed, his chest felt so tight with emotion that he felt as though he was going to burst.
“You sure you want to marry me? Even though I’m mean and I don’t smile?”
Carly rolled her eyes dramatically. Before he realized it, she was standing on the bed looking down at him slightly. Even with her standing on something so high up, she was now only a few inches taller than him. Bringing her hands up to his face, she cupped his cheeks and leaned in to kiss him.
“I want to marry you even though you’re mean and don’t smile. It’s just a sacrifice I’ll have to make.”
Wrapping his arm around her waist, Damian yanked her body forward, so she was flush against his chest.
“Always a brat. Your brother was right when he told me that you needed a sore bottom.”
Carly scoffed at that, but she was grinning.
“Wait, you still have to put the ring on me!”
Damian nodded and opened the box that he had put down on the bed. He could feel Carly’s eyes watching him as he reached for her hand and slid the ring onto her finger.
“I love you, baby doll. Thank you for trusting me to take care of you.”
Flinging her arms around his neck, Carly nodded and wrapped her legs around his waist, so he was holding her against him.
“I’ll always trust you, Daddy.”
