Post-session Transcript Cain

Dr. Masterson: This is Dr. Elizabeth Masterson. Today marked my first session with new resident Cain Alexander. These are my observations.

Dr. Masterson: Subject name, Cain Alexander—hereinafter referred to as U002. Species unknown, but a canine familiar appeared upon his arrival. I suspect he is some sort of powerful mage. Age unknown, but appears to be in his late thirties. Height, six foot two. Weight, undocumented. No notable markings. Abilities, unknown. U002's intake at the referral of Dr. Temperance was unexpected, but he is clearly going to be an asset to my cause. Even without his memories, power bleeds from him.

Dr. Masterson: While U002 appears to be an enigma, his attraction and subsequent aversion to Subject M120 is painfully obvious. The two are drawn together, and I wonder if it's due to a similarity in their power? U002 has a darkness inside him I am eager to unleash. Perhaps M120 is the key. I will come up with a treatment plan that keeps the two in close contact. His resistance to her is a clear indicator of something he's repressed.

Dr. Masterson: If treatment can unlock his memories and release his power, perhaps he will be one of the final ingredients needed to achieve my goals. The energy during group V's first session was palpable. As hypothesized, all of them coming together visibly changed M120's entire aura. U002 might be the last of her mates.

Dr. Masterson: *musing hum*Not who I was expecting, but if my suspicions as to his identity are correct, exactly who I require. I do not feel comfortable stating my theories at this time, but suffice it to say if he's who I suspect, he will be the first of his kind on our premises. There's no way to know if we are properly equipped to handle him if he has an episode. Note—it may be time to look into strengthening the wards.

Dr. Masterson: Instruct all staff to take any and all opportunities to put Dahlia and Cain together. *pause* Yes, we need them to grow closer. *pause* I understand. Yes, all of them do need to bond. *irritated* Yes, that is why they are in group sessions together, but Cain won't open up if anyone else is around. We need them to connect. *huff* If I wanted your opinion, I would've asked for it. *pause* Just see that it's done.
