Soul smirks, like even though Ghost is shutting him down and claiming me, he’s the one who somehow won.
“Understood.” Soul takes a sip of his beer.
“Can I get you a drink?” Venom asks Ghost, and I look over to see he cut his conversation with Reina short the second Ghost walked up.
Prospects look to ranked members like they’re gods. Which is probably another reason Venom stopped flirting with me since that night Ghost put me on the back of his bike after the incident with the van.
“Whiskey,” Ghost orders, still not letting me go.
Venom nods, and I look up over my shoulder at Ghost.
“You’re back. And you’re…” I pat the back of his hand, where it’s resting over my stomach.
“Touching you.”
“Touching me.” I smile. “Here. In front of everyone.”
“Does that bother you? ”
“Definitely not.”
Spinning on the stool, I wait to see if he’ll pull back. He doesn’t. He widens his stance and moves my legs between his. With him standing and me sitting down, he’s even taller.
Havoc walks up behind him, and his eyebrows pinch as he looks to where Ghost has me caged. When his gaze meets mine, he smirks, winking.
It feels like a secret getting out. One that wasn’t well kept, given how the guys are looking at us.
I scoot closer to Ghost, letting the warmth of his body be my comfort. I’ve been chasing him like he’s a figment of my imagination. I wasn’t even sure if he actually liked me or if I just liked him so much that I was imagining it.
Now, I’m drinking up every bit of his reciprocation. It’s giving me life. Validation. Purpose.
Havoc stops beside Ghost, and Venom hands him a beer at the same time as he hands Ghost his whiskey.
“Clean run tonight.” Havoc taps his bottle against Ghost’s glass. “Nice work.”
Ghost nods at him, taking a sip of whiskey and then resting the glass on the bar. I wet my lips, remembering how whiskey tastes on him, but holding myself back from doing anything about it as I look up at him from my barstool.
Ghost looks down at me, rubbing circles on my back, and I wonder if he can read my mind. Or maybe my warm cheeks are giving me away.
“Hi, baby.” Reina slides next to Havoc, clinging to his arm .
He ignores her, but she doesn’t get the hint. Her hand rubs up and down his forearm before she starts tracing a tattoo on the back of his hand with her finger.
I don’t know Havoc’s full history, just that he was in the military before he patched into the club and that as long as I’ve known him, he’s been closed off to love.
None of that stops Reina from trying.
“I’m gonna shower and pass the fuck out.” Havoc steps back, tapping Ghost’s glass with his beer bottle one more time before disappearing down the hall.
“You two have fun.” Reina winks at me, chasing after Havoc.
She needs to stop tying herself to emotionally unavailable men. If Steel was any indication, she’s setting herself up for another heartbreak. I look up at Ghost and wonder if I’m one to talk since he shut me out for so long. But this is different—I think. How he’s acting doesn’t feel like he’s holding me on a string.
I run my fingers down his cut and trace the letters of his name on the patch, hoping he’s not going to break my heart.
“You want another drink?” he asks.
I glance at my gin and tonic, noticing Venom still hasn’t refilled it and deciding that’s for the best. “No, I’m good.”
“Let’s go sit.” He laces his fingers through mine and tugs my hand, pulling me from the barstool to follow him.
Eyes are on us as we weave through the room. Patch bunnies whisper, and club members grin at Ghost.
He leads me to the couch I was sitting on before I moved to the bar, and when I try to sit on the cushion next to him, he pulls me onto his lap instead so I’m straddling him.
My thin pajama shorts ride up, but my T-shirt is long enough to hide my ass.
“Get good.” Ghost reads my T-shirt, smirking.
I shrug. “It’s an important message. More people should do it.”
“Couldn’t agree more, beautiful.” He pulls me in for a kiss.
It’s overwhelming in the best way. His teeth tease my lip, and it sends shivers through my body. I’m breathless when he pulls back, and there’s no use trying to hide the blush creeping up my neck and cheeks.
Someone yells from the bar, and I look over my shoulder to see Soul taking a body shot off one of the new girls.
“At least there’s never a shortage of entertainment in the clubhouse.” I shake my head, turning back to Ghost.
His gaze moves to the pool table. “I noticed.”
My eyes widen. “You saw that? You weren’t even here.”
“I see everything that happens at the clubhouse, Luna.” He tucks my hair behind my ear, glancing up at one of the cameras in the corner.
“And here I thought I was special.”
“You are special. Why do you think I spent the entire ride back with my eyes on you? It sure as fuck wasn’t to watch Mayhem get his dick sucked.”
He smirks, and I drag my teeth over my lower lip.
“Does it bother you that I’ve seen all the guys practically naked?” I scrunch my nose .
Ghost grabs me by the front of the throat and pulls my face to his, nipping at my lower lip. “Does it bother you that I’ve seen all of them practically naked?”
He grins, and I can’t hold back the laugh that bursts out of me. “I was serious.”
“So am I, beautiful. I don’t care what you look at. So long as you don’t touch.”
“Touch them?” My face sours just thinking about it. “I definitely don’t want any of them.”
The club members are like brothers to me, and I’ve never thought of them as anything but family, apart from Ghost.
“I only want you.” I wrap my arms around his shoulders.
“How bad do you want me?” Ghost still hasn’t released my throat, but his free hand moves down to my hips, pulling me to rock my core over him.
I mirror the movement. “So bad.”
Ghost skates his hand over my thigh, between my legs. He reaches under my baggy T-shirt and slides my flimsy pajama shorts to the side. No one can see me since I’m facing him, but we’re not being discreet either.
“Then I want you to show them who you belong to, Luna.” He sinks a finger into my pussy, and I bite back my moan. “I want you to fuck me so we can watch it back later, just like you’ve watched everyone else. Can you be a good girl and do that for me?”
“Here?” My eyes flutter as he drives a second finger in. “Are you sure? ”
He leans forward, pulling my head to the side so he can kiss my collarbone. “They still think you’re fair game to flirt with—to consider. But you’re not. You’re mine.”
“I’m yours, Ghost.”
He hums against my neck. And even if I usually call him by his real name when we’re intimate, this feels different. This is more than just us connecting or admitting what we are to each other.
This is him making a statement to his club—his brothers.
And I’ve never been this turned on as he toys with my clit, and I ride his hand in front of anyone who wants to look over and watch us. It doesn’t matter who sees; the only person I care about is the one who won’t take his eyes off me.
I tip my forehead to Ghost’s. “I want you to fuck me. Right here.”
“Then take me out.” He laces one hand into my hair, guiding my hips back with his other one to reveal his zipper.
I trail my hands down, unzipping him. Reaching into his jeans, I stroke his cock, relishing in the rumble in his chest as I grip him harder. But before I pull him out, I shift to shield him from the room with my body.
“Are you worried someone’s going to see my cock, beautiful?”
I narrow my eyes at him for calling me out. “It’s my cock.”
“That’s right.” He lifts my hips and positions me over him. “So, claim it. ”
I’m thankful I’m in a T-shirt that’s five sizes too big for me because it acts like a dress. And even as I hover over Ghost’s giant cock, no one can see it.
But they know. I feel them watching as I start to sink down over him.
People fuck in this room all the time, and I’ve watched them with disinterest or curiosity. Sometimes, it’s the only way to pass the time. But none of it is what Ghost does to me as he lowers me down onto him. As his cock impales the deepest parts of my soul.
“You’re a lot to take.” I moan as he pulls me in for a kiss, shifting my hips so I can ride him.
He tilts my hips, and I lose my breath at the angle.
“You like that?”
“Mm-hmm.” I can’t form words.
Ghost wraps his hands around my thighs and controls my movements. And when I tip my face up to the ceiling and spot the camera, I think about Ghost watching this back later. I think about seeing myself ride him in the middle of the clubhouse.
A man who’s been untouchable, but he caved for me. I might not think much of myself, but when Ghost looks into my eyes, he makes me feel seen.
“You’re so beautiful when you’re taking me.” He grabs the sides of my face, watching my expression change.
I grab his shoulders and continue to rock in his lap, chasing the building fire in my belly. I’m not wearing a bra, so when he pulls us chest to chest, my nipples pebble at the sensation of his hard chest rubbing against me.
“Ghost.” I sigh, and he pulls me in for a kiss .
Our tongues tangle, and it doesn’t matter who else is in the room. It’s just me and him.
Maybe we were always meant to be this. It was an inevitable pull that tugged us down this road until we had no option but to give in.
“You feel too good, Luna.” He drops his hand so he can sneak it under my T-shirt to roll his thumb over my clit. “I need you to come for me before I disappoint you.”
Something about that confession is what sends me over the edge. That he’s desperate for me. That he can’t resist how I make him feel. It’s been so long since he’s given in that every touch has him on the brink.
I love having that power over him.
I shake in his arms, and he drives up into me as he holds me against him, coming deep and making me whole.
“You’re perfect.” He kisses my shoulder, moving to the center of my throat. “You’re beautiful.”
We pause, looking each other in the eyes, and I believe him, even if it terrifies me.
He could change his mind.
They always do.
This moment might be all I get. But instead of letting it terrify me, I hold onto it.
From the corner of my eye, I see movement, and I’m still catching my breath as Soul walks up to us. There’s a sway to his step and a drink in his hand.
“Ghost, brother—”
“I swear if you touch me when I’m still inside my girl, I’m gonna fucking kill you,” Ghost cuts him off .
“Oh shit.” Soul grins, throwing his hands up as he steps back. “Sorry, find me later.”
Burying my face in the side of Ghost’s neck, I shake my head. “Your girl, huh?”
“ My girl.” He kisses my shoulder. “No going back.”
No going back.
If only his rivals and my past would let that happen.
