It doesn’t matter that it’s a Wednesday night. The guys will find any reason to party. From what I’ve heard between drinks and cheering, Ghost, Havoc, and Legacy’s run went well, and they’re celebrating.
The guys aren’t back from the run yet, but the rest of the club has already started drinking without them. Mixed drinks and beer quickly turned into shots, and now, most of the room is drunk.
Reina drops onto the couch beside me, splashing my leg with her beer. Unlike her and the other girls, I didn’t get dressed up tonight. I wasn’t planning on partying at all, but they were so loud that I couldn’t sleep. So I joined the madness in an oversized T-shirt, flimsy sleep shorts, and slippers.
Maybe I should care how I look, but it’s their fault I’m awake, so this is what they get. Besides, this is how I look seventy-five percent of the time, and clearly, Ghost doesn’t mind.
I still haven’t said anything to the patch bunnies about what happened between me and Ghost. I confided in Tempe because I knew she wouldn’t judge me for it, but my friendship with Reina and Wren is more fragile.
Right now, they don’t see me as a threat. I focus on school, and they chase the guys’ property patches. It makes it easy to coexist with one foot in their world and one foot out.
But old ladies and patch bunnies don’t mix. The second they think Ghost and I are becoming something more, I have a feeling it will impact my friendships.
I’m still navigating what Ghost and I are to each other. Just because we fucked doesn’t mean he’s ready for more. What if once he fucks me a few times, he decides he was using his abstinence as a crutch, and he’s now ready to indulge in all the perks of being a Twisted King again?
What if he breaks my heart?
The thought alone has me spiraling, which is why I can’t admit what we are until I know for sure.
Reina takes a sip of her beer, following my gaze to the show happening on the pool table in front of us, where Mayhem is fucking Kristen’s throat. “When did this pool game turn into a live-action deep-throat performance?”
“Somewhere around them forgetting who was stripes and who was solids.” I tilt my head to the side as Mayhem grabs Kristen by the throat, shoving his cock deeper. “I’ve seen way too many of their dicks. ”
“Is there such a thing?” Reina giggles, taking another sip of her beer.
Kristen is lying with her back on the pool table and her head hanging off. It can’t be a comfortable way to give head, but I can’t stop staring at them either. If they cared, they’d go find a more private place to do it, so I don’t bother being discreet about it.
I’m not actually thinking about Mayhem and Kristen as I watch his cock slide in and out of her mouth. I’m wondering how I’ll ever give Ghost head when he’s as thick as he is, and my jaw has limits.
“You look like you’re in pain.” Reina nudges my arm.
“I’m fine.” I take a sip of my drink and hope my cheeks aren’t as red as they feel. “I was just thinking about something.”
“Blow jobs?” She laughs.
And I can’t help laughing with her. “Yeah, basically.”
Looking around, I wonder what it says about me that this scene isn’t out of the ordinary. It doesn’t even phase me anymore. In the last five minutes, I’ve watched Kristen give Mayhem head in three different positions, and I didn’t so much as flinch. It’s to the point where I don’t know how the patch bunnies are interested in fucking any of them.
If I was around five years ago when Ghost was this promiscuous, would I still want him?
I try to picture it, but the idea of him with another woman makes my temples throb.
Lifting my glass to my lips, I finish what’s left of the melted ice. “I need another drink. ”
Plus, I should probably stop watching Mayhem get his dick sucked, given I don’t know how Ghost would feel about that.
“Me too.” Reina hops up, holding onto my arm for support as we walk over to the bar.
Venom is busy pouring shots for a couple of the guys at the other end, so we slide onto the barstools, waiting. Reina messes with her white-blonde hair, checking her lipstick in the mirror behind the bar.
“You look so nervous tonight.” Reina frowns, flipping her hair off her shoulders. “When’s the last time you got laid?”
“I don’t know,” I lie.
Reina rolls her eyes. “It’s not good for you to hold onto all that pent-up tension. You need some dick. Trust me, you’ll feel better.”
She’s not wrong, given I feel much better after Ghost fucked me sideways, but I can’t tell her that.
Venom finally stops in front of us, and Reina immediately starts batting her eyelashes at him.
“Shots?” She nudges my arm.
“Just a gin and tonic.”
“Lame.” Reina rolls her eyes, turning her attention back to Venom as someone taps me on the shoulder.
I turn to see Soul and Stevie standing next to me.
“Luna, settle a bet for us.” Soul grins.
Venom is still deep in conversation with Reina and is in no rush to get me a drink, so I decide I can use the distraction .
“All right.” I turn on my barstool, and Soul’s gaze immediately falls to my bare legs.
“Nice outfit.”
“You woke me up. So this is what you get. Pajamas.”
“Didn’t say I was complaining.” He winks. “But it’s only two-thirty in the morning. Why the fuck are you sleeping?”
“Most people go to bed before the next day rolls around.”
Soul glances around. “Not here.”
“Hence why you fit in so well.”
“You’re getting off track.” Stevie knocks Soul on the chest.
“Right. Right.” Soul brushes his dark-blond hair off his forehead, straightening his spine. “Stevie doesn’t think I could fuck a girl while I ride.”
“On your motorcycle?”
“Obviously.”
“While moving?” I hitch an eyebrow.
“See.” Stevie laughs. “Told you it’s fucking stupid.”
“You do realize if you crash, you’re breaking a hell of a lot more than just your dick, right?” My eyebrows knit.
“I won’t crash then.” Soul grins.
Stevie shakes his head, crossing his arms over his chest. “I swear something is wrong with you, brother. Sex doesn’t need to be an Olympic sport. What happened to just getting laid?”
“Who says it doesn’t have to be an Olympic sport?” Soul argues. “It’s not a crime to enjoy fucking. ”
“Here. Here.” Mayhem cheers, stopping between them and smiling, clearly done with his little performance with Kristen.
I roll my eyes. “It’s not a crime to survive your sexcapades though. It’s one thing to have fun, but it’s another to lose all your skin fucking someone.”
Soul digs his phone out again. “Watch this. Trust me, it’s possible.”
He pulls up something on his phone, and Mayhem and Stevie tilt their heads as they watch whatever is on the screen. When Soul spins his phone around, it’s a video of some couple fucking on a bike while he drives down the road.
“See. Possible.” Soul puts his phone away.
“I never said it wasn’t possible. But smart… no way. I’m with Stevie on this one. Sorry.”
“I thought you were more fun than that.” Soul tips his head back and groans. “Come on. Live a little. It looks fun, doesn’t it?”
“I guess if you’re just trying to check it off your bucket list.”
“See.” He points at me like I’ve just proved his point, even though I don’t understand the appeal. “I’ve got my bike out front right now; we could test it out if you want?”
Soul winks, and I roll my eyes. He knows I have zero interest in him, and I know he sees me like his little sister. Still, it doesn’t stop him from always trying to get a reaction from anyone and everyone.
But right before I have a chance to answer Soul’s question, an arm wraps my stomach, and the smell of Ghost’s shampoo floods my senses. Ghost tugs my back flush to his chest and, in one move, claims me right in front of his brothers.
Soul’s eyes widen, and I feel Reina staring at me from the corner of my eye. But he doesn’t let me go.
Ghost holds me tight, and I can’t help sinking into his arms.
“Not with my girl, brother.”
