Reed Chambers reminds me of every guy who was ever a jerk to me. With his drop dead good looks and overly confident stroll. His quiet, cold eyes that send shivers across my shoulders.

But since we're stuck together working on an indie horror movie that is my brother's entire lifes passion, not to mention that the guy is my best friend's new fling, I guess I should give him a chance.

The thing is… I don't want to.

Then we get caught in the dark. Alone. Only the circles of our flashlights to see. Our words drop into whispers as he leans in closer, warmth brushing my forearm. A spark flutters in my chest. His breath catches.

And the only thing I can think is, “Oh, fu*k.”
