KEIR
Dash was rubbing my wrists.“I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t realize they’d irritate you.”
I was on my back, my arms and legs freed, and I was fucked out for the first time in my life. Seeing the treats Dash had in that box had blown my mind. I’d had one huge orgasm and two dry ones. I was still in disbelief.
“I’m fine, love. Really, don’t worry about it. I love you so much.” My heart pounded at how boneless my body felt after my husband had completely ravished me. It was glorious.
Dash picked me up and carried me into the bathroom, his cum leaking out of me. He put me on my feet in the huge shower and turned on the cool water. “You okay to stand?”
I chuckled. “Sure. How about you?”
“Baby that was unbelievable. You make me crazy. I want to do it again, but I wanna make sure I didn’t hurt you. I filled you like I wanna every day.”
Dash washed me, gently cleaning my hole and kissing his way up my spine. We kissed and laughed under the shower spray, and then he turned off the water.
Stepping out, I handed Dash a towel and wrapped one around myself. “I feel great, but I’m fucking starved.”
“Yeah, we didn’t eat all our lunch. I could eat about ten tacos. Should we go to the taqueria? The schedule showed there was a band on the beach tonight. You wanna go see’em?”
The best part of any of his suggestions was being with him. “That sounds great.”
Dash pulled me into his arms and lifted my left hand to his lips, pressing a kiss over the ring he’d put there when we said our vows. “Forever.”
Damn if I didn’t hope it was true. Forever with Dashiell Clegg-Dearly sounded like a pretty damn good future. The toy box Dash had produced was a sign of great things to come.
Dashand I were walking hand in hand toward the Sunset Beach Bar near the shore’s edge. We’d eaten at the little taqueria on the property and then decided to go to the beach, where there was supposed to be live entertainment, which sounded fun.
We took off our flip-flops and strolled through the sand, stepping up to the bar and taking seats. We dropped our shoes on the tiled floor and glanced around. A few couples were at the bar as the sun was setting, and I reached over to pat Dash on the thigh. “Looks nice.”
“Hey, guys. What can I get you?” The female bartender had an American accent and flaming-red dreads. She had piercings and tats. She looked like a total badass.
Dash turned to me and put his arm around my chair, scooting me closer. “Dearly, what do you want?”
“I’ll have a beer. Whatever he has.” I was completely sober after the supreme fucking I’d had earlier. I’d had sparkling water with the tacos, so I was ready to have a few drinks.
The bartender smiled. “Dash?”
Dash froze in his chair. “We’re on our honeymoon. Why are you here, Lilith?”
It was then I noticed a lot of spirits in the area. I stared closer at the bartender and saw Lilith, realizing I hadn’t been paying attention to much else besides Dash. That was dangerous, even in paradise.
“I just wanted to wish you boys a happy honeymoon. Everything going okay?”
The Mistress of Hell mixed up something and poured it into eight shot glasses for those sitting at the bar. She passed them out and grabbed two beers for Dash and me.
“Everybody, let’s toast to the newlyweds.” Lilith held up a shot glass and pretended to down it. The rest of the customers sucked it down, and then they froze.
“Tell me you didn’t kill them.” God, how much more complicated could this shit get?
Lilith laughed and became the demon I recognized. I turned to Dash who didn’t look any happier than me. “What are you doing here?” His voice wasn’t very welcoming, not that I cared.
“Now, Key. Don’t get pissy. I’m not here to harsh your vibe. I just wanted to let you know that the hellhounds went through the portal, and imagine our surprise when we found out that it came out here...where you were planning your honeymoon.”
I turned to Dash. “Please tell me this is a fucking joke.”
He shifted his glare to Lilith. “My husband wants this to be a joke. Please make it so. I still have a lot of honeymoon left.” We both downed our beers in two gulps.
“I’m bullshitting you. Nyx and company are still missing. This is just an update.” Lilith scanned the area. “I’ll leave you, but is there a chance you’ll sell the garage to Quinn? I can tell he really wants it, and it would make a great wedding gift for me to give him.” She waggled her eyebrows at us, and I chuckled. I was coming to see that every creature had an ulterior motive for doing everything.
Dash rolled his eyes, which was becoming his go-to move. “Wait till we get home, and the four of us can discuss it.”
Lilith vanished, and a young man stepped up to the bar. “You guys okay?”
I wanted to say no, that we’d never be okay again, but it wouldn’t make sense to anyone outside our circle. “We’re great. Can we get two more Coronas?”
The real bartender nodded and went about getting our beers as the band assembled on the stage. I was looking forward to whatever was coming... or so I hoped.
A far too energetic woman and man stepped in front of the stage, a spotlight shining on them. “Let’s learn to salsa!”
I glanced at Dash, who surprised me with a shrug. He put two coasters over our beers, and took my hand, leading me to the sand, where we proceeded to dance the night away. As the singer said, I had the time of my life!
After a good, hard fuck and a hearty breakfast of huevos rancheros with roasted tomato pico de gallo, bacon, and waffles, Dash and I went back to our room to change into swimsuits. “You wanna go to the cabana for a while. I could take a nap.” Dash patted his belly, which was still a solid six-pack, even with the four waffles he’d consumed.
“Sounds good. We’re doing that tour of the Mayan ruins and the cenote this afternoon. Do you still wanna go, or should we move it to tomorrow?” I’d read about the ruins after I found out what surprises Dash had booked, and I was really excited to go, but if he wanted to rest, that was fine with me.
“No, let’s go. We’ve got a couple hours, and we’ll already be in our swim trunks. I’m not wearing that piece of floss you got me for Christmas. I’ll wear it here for you, but not in public.” He opened a drawer and pulled out a pair of swim trunks with a lobster print he’d ordered online. It was the ugliest thing I’d seen in a long time.
I pulled out my blue-and-white striped trunks and changed while Dash packed a backpack with sunscreen, his wallet, and other stuff so we were ready for our day trip. We headed to the beach.
The beautiful white sand and blue seas were the stuff of dreams. Fifteen cabanas were spread out across the beach. We walked along until we found number seven in the middle.
White gauze fabric covered the back and sides of the cabana to allow privacy for the couple inside, though the curtains could be pushed back. The king-size lounger inside was sprinkled with rose petals shaped like a heart, and there was a cooler, along with four large beach towels.
“Nice. What’s in here?” Dash opened the cooler and perused the soda, beer, and water bottles. He pulled out two bottles of water and handed one to me. “I’m gonna let my breakfast digest. What are you gonna do?”
I put my water on the table by me and took off my T-shirt, folded it, and put it on a rattan chair in the corner. I reached into the backpack and brought out a book I’d picked up at the airport. “I’m going to do a little light reading.”
Dash reached over and picked up the book, scanning the cover. “Is this porn?” The hot guy on the front was a bit of a giveaway, but I was a sucker for gay romance.
“Not exactly. Gay romance with a little guy-on-guy-on-guy action. Nothing too scandalous.” Dash flipped through the book and scanned a few pages before tossing it on the lounger and pulling off his T-shirt, folding it and putting it on the chair on his side.
“You know that I’d kill any guy who tries to get into our marriage, right? That’s why I bought that dildo. I’m the only guy who will ever fuck or be fucked by you.” I grabbed the sunscreen and walked around to his side of the lounger.
“You know I don’t want to fuck another guy or be fucked by another guy, right? When I said I do, I meant only you. And yes, I remember that dildo. We’ll have to give it a try, though your dick is thick enough to make me walk funny. Turn around. It’s my husbandly duty to make sure you don’t burn.”
Dash turned around, and I slathered him with sunscreen, front and back. My cock started to plump up, but we were outside, so I’d have to think about embalming grandmothers. Maybe reading the steamy romance book wasn’t a good idea?
An hour later, my husband snoozed in the cabana while I walked out to the shoreline. The water was the amazing blue that I’d only seen in photos or on television.
“It’s lovely, isn’t it?” I glanced to my left to see a man standing next to me in a wool tweed suit, waistcoat, and a straw fedora, holding a black cat. It was only eighty-two degrees, Fahrenheit, but it seemed too warm to be dressed in a wool suit...on the beach...wearing suede bucks.
“Uh, yeah. It’s gorgeous. Have you just arrived? I didn’t realize the resort was pet friendly.” The black cat looked at me with strange yellow eyes and hissed before it jumped from his arms and took off toward the cabanas.
“Yes, I arrived today, but my luggage didn’t. I’m just going to the gift shop to buy some resort wear to get me through until they track it down.”
The man tugged a handkerchief from the back pocket of his slacks, wiping his hand. “I saw the cat running around by the lobby, and it reminded me of my cat back home. I’m Thane Nyxon from Baltimore.” He extended his hand, so I shook it, not wanting to appear rude.
“Keir Clegg-Dearly. Nice to meet you.”
When our palms touched, my stomach flip-flopped. Hell if I knew why, but a moment later, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Dash.
“Babe, you left me.” He turned to Thane, and I could tell Dash wasn’t thrilled to see the man, though I didn’t know why.
“I just wanted to put my feet in the water. Dash, love, this is Thane Nyxon. He just arrived from Baltimore where it’s much cooler, hence the wool. Unfortunately, his luggage did not.”
Dash squeezed my arm and gently tugged me closer. He then turned to Mr. Nyxon. “Pleasure. Yeah, airlines are the fuckin’ worst, aren’t they?”
Nyxon put his hand out for Dash to shake, but Dash held up his right hand. “Sorry. Sunscreen.” He then turned to me. “We need to get ready to go. We can grab something from the food trucks before the tour.”
I knew it wasn’t time to go yet. It was only mid-morning, and we didn’t leave to meet the bus for the tour until twelve-thirty. “I, uh... Sure, honey. Let’s get our things.”
We started to walk away when Nyxon touched my shoulder to stop me. An electrical current skittered over my arm. I stopped, even though Dash was pulling me. I turned to Mr. Nyxon and offered a smile.
“What tour? My trip was a last-minute thing, and I didn’t get to do a lot of research. What tour are you taking?”
I studied the stranger for a moment. He appeared to be in his mid-thirties with mousy-brown hair and brown eyes. He was about five-ten and quite slender. His features were a bit sharp, likely because he was so thin, and his voice was a bit higher pitched than many men I knew, but it wasn’t grating.
All in all, I judged Thane Nyxon to be a wallflower. Maybe he was trying to step out of his comfort zone since he was in an exotic locale. I’d have to take Dash to task when it was just the two of us.
“We’re going to tour the ruins at Tulum and then visit a cenote.” Dash squeezed my arm again.
“Oh, that sounds exciting. I’m going to see if I can sign up and take it too. Hopefully, I’ll see the two of you later. Excuse me. I need to get something to wear that’s more climate-friendly. I’m sure I’ll see you around.” With that, Mr. Nyxon turned and walked back through the sand toward the main lobby.
I turned to Dash. “What the hell? You could have been nicer, you know. He looks like—”
“He looks like a demon, Keir.” He never called me Keir.
“What?”
Dash sighed and took my hand, leading me into the warm ocean water. “His aura was black as coal. He’s a human, but he may be possessed. Don’t let him touch you again. I’m not sure why, but I don’t like him, and I sure as fuck don’t trust him.”
“Do you think he’s possessed? Like Keirnan Morton? Dash, we’ve gotta help him.” That whole mess with Keirnan and Sibley could have been tragic. I wouldn’t want to see that happen to another person, especially since he seemed so awkward.
“I don’t know what he is yet, but you’re not going with him anywhere without me. If we figure out that he’s possessed, you can cast out the demon. He could just be evil. We’ll see.”
Dash led me to our cabana, and we laid on the lounger. Dash pushed me onto my back. “You are too sweet for your own good, Dearly. I love you. Please be more careful.”
His lips worked their way down my neck to my right nipple, making my stomach do funny things. The man had a way about him that I couldn’t refuse.
“We’ve got an hour before we need to be in the lobby. Wanna go to our room and let me make you feel better? I think my mouth fits your cock.”
Dash pulled back and chuckled. “I know it does. Let’s go.”
