Soraya Devil has been focused on healing since she was attacked—herself, her relationships, and even her dedication to saving the world. She still doesn't know if the world deserves to be saved given how cruel people can be, but the innocents keep her fighting.

And a fight she's going to have after drawing a line in the sand with demons and declaring they weren't allowed to do anything else unnatural like demonic killer birds. Evil is their shtick, but if they step into anything against Mother Nature again, they will have to deal with her.

They should take that seriously because Soraya Devil doesn't make idle threats.

Too bad the federal government doesn't seem to believe that and instead listens to rumors about her. While everyone else is freaking out that she's about to tell the federal government to sod off, Soraya barely blinks at the potential fallout.

What does one government matter when she's tasked with saving the world and the barrier that keeps Hell from invading?
