Silver seeped into Kitsuki's eyes as his dragon once again took hold. "We never wish to hold back from our mate ever again," Kitsuki's dragon murmured. "You do have other responsibilities," Auslin dryly reminded him. "Or did you somehow forget about being the king of Valzerna?"

Kitsuki finally came back to himself once more. His expression was rueful. "You cannot blame us for feeling that way about our beloved mate."

"No, I can't. And I'm sure your dragon will more than make up for it later," Auslin teased as he got out of bed. "For now, I want to eat lunch, then go check on my brother after I take another bath since somebody got me dirty again."

"Very well," Kitsuki conceded. "I will join you."

"You better keep your hands to yourself," Auslin warned, but his amusement ruined his attempt at sternness.

Kitsuki's expression turned serious. "You have my word."

Auslin led the way into the bathroom. "I know I have yours, but what about your dragon's?"

"So long as you do not unduly tempt him, he will remain restrained." Kitsuki followed Auslin.

"And you don't think me wet and naked in the bath will count as unduly tempting him?" Auslin scoffed.

"We shall see."
