Chapter 11 - Anton

“We have done it,” Alexandr spouted as he hung up the phone. “We are still on a trial alliance. But we have gained their trust, Anton!”

I smiled at my brother as I replied. “That’s great news. Now, what needs to be done next?”

Alexandr leaned back in his chair, staring at me. Alexandr spoke in his calm but authoritative tone. “I need you to go and finalize the alliance. I have booked a flight out, and it leaves in about two hours. Can you handle it?”

“Can I handle it?” I replied cockily as I got up. “You know I can.”

“Why? I thought it was done. We sent them everything we got.” Abram chipped in from the side.

“Yes, but…,” Alexandr said, shaking his head. “There are some things they want to double-check. Seeing that Anton is the one who got the intel, they requested him. Is that a problem?”

Abram shook his head, lowering his gaze as he replied. “No, I was just wondering when Anton will return to the warehouse.”

As I headed for the door, I heard Alexandr’s tone raise as he questioned Abram some more. “Is there something you can’t handle? If you need an extra set of hands, ask Akim!”

Turning in the doorway, I smiled at the two of them. “Calm down, the world isn’t ending. I’ll be back soon.”

Abram’s eyes narrowed as he gave me his most evil grin. “Yes, see you tomorrow,” Alexandr added, waving me out the door. Walking down the hall, I could hear them still going at it.

Pulling up to my house, I took a deep breath, pushing all thoughts of her away. I had to focus. I grabbed my go bag and left for the airport.

I was struggling to focus, as images of Joyce kept trying to distract me.

Getting into the back seat, I was glad she insisted, seeing that I didn’t think I should be driving. The limo pulled up to the front entrance. The place looked spectacular. It was something to behold at night. I must bring Joyce here, I thought as I approached the doors.

A big man was waiting for me. He opened the door and waved me in as he spoke. “Ivan is in the office.”

I nodded and stepped past him, heading to the bar area. I was about to enter the bar when I felt a hand close around my arm. Dropping my bag, I swung around frantically, lifting my hands in readiness. Sergei grinned at me as he took a step back.

“Sorry,” I huffed, lowering my hands and picking up my bag. “I was just on my way to see Ivan.”

Sergei shook his head, stepped closer, and spoke loudly to be clearly heard over the music. “Follow me.”

I didn’t hesitate and followed him up the stairs. On the third floor, we turned right, heading down one of the many passages the den held. Sergei stopped by a door about halfway down the hall and knocked.

Ivan’s deep voice boomed through the door, filling the quiet hallway with his words. “Come in.”

Sergei opened the door and ushered me inside. Ivan was standing towards the back of the room with a glass in his hand. He smiled as he poured whiskey into another glass on the table beside him.

“I was surprised when the guard let me know you have arrived,” Ivan said, picking up the glass and holding it out for me.

Glancing at Sergei, I shook my head lightly as I spoke. “Thanks, Ivan, but I’ve had enough on the plane.”

He chuckled and gestured for me to take a seat.

“I was only expecting you tomorrow,” Ivan added as Sergei joined me.

“Yes, I know,” I replied, smiling. “But we don’t like leaving things for later. The sooner we can get it done, the better, right?”

Ivan’s grin grew as he moved around and sat down opposite us. “I like how you and your family do things,” he commented.

Returning his smile, I took out the files I had brought with me. “Here are the details, business documents, and everything you need for the new drug company. All has been handled and is set on our side,” I said, handing it to Ivan.

He scanned through the file and gave it to Sergei. Sergei went through it slower, making sure it was what they wanted. “This is great,” he said, closing the folder and giving it back to Ivan.

Ivan stood up and pushed the glass of whiskey my way as he spoke. “We are now allies and friends. Welcome to our world.”

Standing, I picked up the glass as he poured another for Sergei. I knew this one I would have to take. It was to celebrate the alliance. “Thank you,” I said, holding my glass up.

Ivan and Sergei gently bumped their glasses into mine as Ivan spoke again. “One last thing.”

“Yes,” I nodded.

“When the first shipment arrives, our men won’t be in place yet,” Sergei added. “We will need your family to receive and safeguard the product. Just for a week or so until our people are settled.”

“No problem,” I replied, grinning at them. “It is done.”

“That’s how business should go,” Ivan said, swallowing the content of his glass and slamming it down on the table. “This calls for a celebration.” Ivan grinned at me and headed for the door.

Turning, I was about to protest when Sergei bumped my glass again as he spoke in a softer tone. “No use protesting; Ivan won’t take no for an answer. Swallow and follow.”

Slightly confused and in shock, I did as Sergei asked. The whiskey burned as it flowed down my throat. Taking a deep breath, I placed the half-empty glass down and followed the two men.

Entering the bar, I noticed the corner booth where four guards stood was empty. “This way,” Ivan announced loudly, heading to the booth. “Keeping it flowing,” he shouted to the bartender as he sat down.

“We have been doing some digging,” Ivan said as Sergei, and I took our seats.

“Digging?” I asked curiously.

“Yes,” I van replied, laughing. “Don’t worry, it's not a bad thing. We just wanted to learn more about your family. And I must say, we were impressed.”

Looking from Ivan to Sergei, I swallowed the lump forming in my throat suddenly. “Oh, okay,” I replied, unsure of what to expect.

“We were amazed at how long you guys have managed to stay under the radar, hidden from the world we are a part of,” Sergei added.

Feeling proud and grateful for such high praise, I grinned. “Staying hidden was our main goal all the years. But now we are stepping out into the light,” I said confidently.

The waiter brought us a round of drinks and shots. “Together, I am sure we will soar,” Ivan said as he nodded at the waiter. We talked a little about our families and our operations as we shared more drinks.

A couple of hours later, after way too many drinks, I found myself lying sprawled out on a king-size bed. I stared up at the ceiling. The bed was so soft I was sure it would be how it felt floating on a cloud.

I was tired, yet sleep evaded me. After tossing and turning a couple of times, my mind drifted back to Joyce. I found myself back in her offices when I went to see her. It was hard that day not kissing her and making her mine. But now, this time, I allowed my mind the freedom to act out its desires.

I held her hand tightly as we moved to her office. After closing the door, I followed her to the back of her desk. “Anton,” she whispered as I pushed up against her. My hands swept the contents of her desk to the floor before picking her up and placing her on top. “We can’t do this here,” she whispered in my ear as I stepped in between her legs.

The heat between us was more than I could take. My hands had no master as they moved up and down her smooth legs. Our mouths touched, her lips burning mine like coals. Her breathing was ragged, but so was mine. Our mouths were like wild animals devouring each other.

“What if someone sees us?” I heard her whisper between passionate kisses.

“What of it?” I replied, kissing the top of her luscious breasts. My hands found their way up and started fondling them. “I don’t care, I want you, I need you.”

I felt her pulling me tighter as I ripped open her shirt, exposing her perfect breasts. Grabbing the back of her neck, I gently pulled her head back, lifting her face to the ceiling as I tenderly kissed her neck. She breathed out hard as her body shook.

I felt her hands moving up my back under my shirt. Lifting my head, I let out a soft growl. Pulling her back up, I allowed her to remove my shirt. Joyce was panting as I sucked her breasts.

The table shook slightly as we moved furiously, getting rid of the rest of our clothes. Laying her back on the table, I admired her beautiful pussy. She was a star, the most stunning woman I had ever seen.

Grabbing hold of her thighs, I lifted her into my arms. I bit down on my lower lip as I felt my dick throbbing. Lust drove my actions as I wanted nothing more than to be inside of her. Turning, I walked to the back wall and pinned her against it.

Joyce was breathing hard and rapidly. Her legs wrapped around my waist. “Joyce,” I whispered as our lips met again. “Are you sure?”

“Pulling back, she smiled shyly. “Yes, Anton,” she replied, licking her lips.

Picking her up higher to slide her onto my hard cock, we knocked over a small table. I stood frozen for a second, listening if anyone heard the noise. But there was nothing outside the office. We were alone.

Holding her firmly, I turned back and placed her down on the table. There was less chance of making a racket. Laying her back on it, I pulled her to the edge. Joyce gasped as her pussy hit my body.

Going down on one knee, I gently licked her as I placed her heels on the edge of the table, opening her up completely. I felt her fingers moving through my hair as she moaned softly. After a couple of quick flicks of my tongue, I stood and pushed my stiff cock into her wet pussy.

This made both of us scream with pleasure. She was warm and wet, and my senses all lit up. Joyce was shaking her head wildly as I started moving in and out. Lifting my head to the ceiling, I closed my eyes as my body started shivering.

Suddenly, there was a loud ‘bang.’ I opened my eyes and sprung up. Looking around, I sat back down on the bed. I heaved as I grasped where I was, and I was only dreaming. I was covered in sweat and felt disappointed. It felt so real.

Shaking my head, I took a cold shower and gathered my things. My flight home was early, and I wanted to greet Ivan before I left. As I walked down to the restaurant, my head was pounding. A reminder of our drinking.

I found Ivan in the bar giving orders to the staff. “Ah, there you are,” he said, grinning as I walked in. He didn’t look like I felt, and I wondered how he did it.

“I am on my way and just wanted to thank you,” I said, holding out my hand.

Ivan grabbed it with both of his. “No need, my friend, you are always welcome. My driver will take you. Have a safe flight.”

“Thank you, Ivan, we’ll talk later,” I added as I turned and headed out.

Tasha was waiting for me as my plane landed. I was grateful for the escort home as my head was still throbbing a little. Once I had unpacked, and grabbed some coffee with a muffin, I called Alexandr.

Alexandr only had one question. “Can you handle this with only a couple of men? We have had a surge in requests and can’t spare too many.”

“Yes, sure,” I replied in my usual cocky manner.

“Anton,” Alexandr breathed out. “Don’t take this lightly; if anything goes wrong, it's our heads on the chopping block.”

Grinning, I felt my headache slowly returning. “Yes, I know. I can do this.”

“Please be careful and keep informed of any developments,” Alexandr added before we hung up.

The delivery was scheduled for eight at the docks. I took some aspirin and sat with a cool cloth for a couple of hours, waiting for time to pass. I dozed off once or twice, and my mind returned to my vivid dream.

My alarm was set for seven once it rang, I got up and tried to push all thoughts of Joyce away. I had to concentrate on the job at hand. But she was making it complicated. It wasn’t her fault, but I couldn’t get my head back in the game.

Heading out, I wondered what she was doing. I thought that I could swing by her place once the drop has been handled as I pulled into my parking stop at the docks. Looking around, I saw a van parked close to a small fishing yacht that had just come in.

Getting out, I started walking towards the three men standing beside the van. I was relieved to see Mark, one of our best guys, with two other guards. We loaded the boxes, and crates and headed out.

I drove up front in my truck, then came Mark, and the other two followed on their bikes. The drive to the new warehouse was smooth as silk. I actually longed for some action, hoping to get Joyce out of my head.

We pulled into the warehouse, where six more of our guards were waiting. We were just done offloading the boxes and crates as a car pulled up. Mark walked with me as we went to see who it was.

A big, scary-looking man with an eyepatch got out of the car with three others. “This is private property,” I said lifting my hand to show them to stop.

“Ivan sent us,” the big man replied, grinning at the others.

“Oh, okay,” I replied hesitantly. “Let me just make a call then.”

Mark watched them as I called Sergei to confirm. Happy that they had also sent some men, I informed Mark that they would be joining them for the next couple of days. With everything set at the warehouse, I headed back home.

As I was falling asleep, I decided to go see Joyce after my morning check-ins.

The morning went well. By ten o’clock, I was done with checking the new warehouse and a meeting with Abram.

Sitting down at my usual spot across the street from Joyce’s office, I noticed her coming outside. My heart was racing as I felt the blood draining from my body. She was everything I could want in a woman.

She stopped halfway down the block and turned. A man had come out after her and seemed to be calling her back. Joyce stopped and waited for the man. From where I sat, it looked like she was arguing with him.

My heart stopped for a second as I rose from the table, almost shoving it over. I didn’t like the way things looked. No man had the right to fight with Joyce. As I headed across the street, I noticed their conversation wasn’t angry. No, this guy was flirting with her.

Rage surged through me as I stepped onto the curb and stormed at them. Joyce appeared uncomfortable, but I would take care of it for her.
