Chapter Nineteen
Bones
“How in the hell is the Christmas tree still not decorated?” Wick asked and eyed the bare branches with a grin.
I couldn’t help it. Last night had been the third night in a row that Snow and I had every intention of decking it out with ornaments, and every single time, we ended up tangled on the couch or against the wall, forgetting all about decorations and diving right into each other instead. It was a problem I was more than okay with.
From the kitchen, Snow called out, “We’re going to do it tonight!”
Wick snorted. “I think you need to be more specific about what it is, ‘cause you’ve been doing it alright.”
I rolled my eyes and tried not to laugh. The guys had figured out real quick that the decorations were suffering because of our… distractions. But I’d take the teasing if it meant another night wrapped up in Snow.
“I’m gonna head to the garage for a bit,” I said and pushed off the couch. I gave Wick a nudge as I walked past. “You coming?”
The oven dinged, and Wick’s grin spread wide. “I’ll be out later. The croissants are done.”
I chuckled and shook my head as I made my way into the kitchen. Snow was just pulling a tray out of the oven, and her face glowed in the warm kitchen light. I stepped behind her and pressed a kiss to her temple as I inhaled the mix of her sweet scent and the smell of fresh croissants.
“I’ll be in the garage if you need me, Sugar.”
She turned and gave me a soft smile with a nod. “Okay.”
I left her there, her eyes still following me with that look that kept me going back for more. I headed out to the garage and flipped on the lights. I stood in front of the garage door and smiled.
Through the garage door, I still had a perfect view of Snow bustling around the kitchen. It was like a picture out of a dream, except now, it was real. I knew the way she tasted, the sound she made when I touched that spot on her neck, and the softness of her skin under my hands. I knew her in every way I’d wanted to for too damn long.
Yeah. That made me happy as hell.
Snow
I grabbed a warm snowball cookie off the rack and set it on a napkin. “I’m going to go see what Bones is up to,” I told Bonnie and Nut. Wick was passed out on the couch after eating four croissants.
Nut didn’t even look up from the gingerbread men he was piping. “Think we’re good here for a bit.”
Bonnie smiled and pulled her apron strings tighter. “Want me to start on the peppermint patties next?”
“That would be great.” With both of them here to help, I could finally take a breather—and see Bones. I headed out across the driveway to his garage.
“Back here, Sugar,” he called when I walked through the door.
He was in the back, sitting on the black leather couch.
I held up the cookie with a grin. “Brought you a little treat,” I said and stepped in front of him.
He took it, and his eyes never left mine as he took a bite. His moan rumbled low as he chewed. “I don’t think you could ever make a bad thing, Snow.”
Warmth bloomed in my chest at his words. I’d never get tired of the way he looked at me, as if every little thing I did was something worth savoring.
When he finished the cookie, he licked the last crumb from his fingers, and the way his eyes drifted over me was enough to make my heart skip. “Like what you see?” he asked with a hint of playfulness in his voice.
I bit my lip and felt my pulse quicken. “Maybe…”
I took a small step closer, unable to ignore the electric pull between us.
I settled onto my knees between his legs and slipped the hair tie off my wrist. I swept my hair up into a messy bun and watched as his eyes followed my every move. The sight of me getting ready for him made his gaze darken with that unmistakable blend of desire and affection that never failed to make my heart race.
“God damn, Sugar,” he growled.
I reached for his zipper and felt the tension and anticipation in the air heighten between us. He lifted his hips, and I tugged his pants and boxers down. I felt my own pulse quicken as his dick bobbed in front of me. I wanted this as much as he did.
With my hair out of the way, I leaned forward and brushed a soft kiss to the tip. He threaded his fingers through my hair, and I felt his fingers flex slightly. I took him slowly into my mouth and savored every inch as his breath caught. He let out a low groan and thrust his hips.
His body tensed, his murmured words a mix of pleasure and awe as I stroked and caressed him with my mouth and tongue. I didn’t want to rush because every second was charged with everything we felt.
When he finally came, he exploded in my mouth, and I swallowed every drop. “God dammit,” he moaned.
I sat back on my heels and wiped the corner of my mouth.
“Stand up,” he ordered.
I shakily stood. He had been the one to come, but it felt like I had, too.
“Pants off,” he grunted.
I took my pants off with zero hesitation.
He grabbed me around the waist and pulled me into his lap. My pussy sank down onto his dick, and I threw my head back in pleasure.
I rode him like it was the only thing that was keeping me alive.
“You’re everything, Snow,” he murmured, his voice rough but filled with a warmth that made me smile as I crashed into my release.
I shouted his name and collapsed on top of him as he came again.
He gathered me in his arms and lay on the couch next to me.
“I really just came out here to give you a cookie,” I sighed.
He pressed a kiss to my temple and chuckled.
“I need to get back into the kitchen, but you’ve made me into a wet noodle. I don’t even think I can stand.”
“How do you think I feel? You just made me come twice within five minutes. You shot me into outer space, Sugar.”
I burrowed into his body and sighed contently. “You’re welcome.”
Bones’ loud, deep laugh echoed around the garage and vibrated through my chest. He pulled me closer, wrapping his arms around me like I was the most precious thing in the world.
“Damn, you’re sassy, Snow,” he said as amusement danced in his voice. “But I gotta admit, I love it.”
“Hmm,” I hummed, and a mischievous smile tugged at my lips. “There’s more where that came from.”
“I’ll take it all, Sugar.”
I tipped my head back and looked up at him, meeting his eyes with a soft smile. “I know I need to get back into the kitchen, but I’d really just rather stay here with you.”
He pressed a kiss to my lips before pulling away just enough to look at me. “I think this is where you tell me I’m a distraction.”
I smiled, running my fingers lightly over his chest. “Well, you are, but you’re my favorite distraction.”
Bones’ grin widened, and I could see the spark of something deeper in his eyes. “Good to know. I’m happy to be of service.” He sighed. “You know I’m never going to be able to look at this couch without thinking of you, right?”
I smiled happily. “We’ll add that to the list of things that remind us of each other.”
“‘Jingle Bells’ being at the top of that list,” he chuckled.
“Yup,” I giggled. “It’s a mighty strange list, but I like it.”
