Chapter 18
CHAPTER 18
RORY
“Who was that woman?” The question passes my lips before I can stop it. I knew I shouldn’t ask, yet there was no stopping it from passing through.
It’s not like I don’t already know the answer. Aries had slept with that woman. Tara didn’t mind letting it be known.
“She’s no one,” Aries remarks tersely, his fingers massaging my scalp.
Lifting on my good arm, I look down at him and cock a brow. “She said she hadn’t seen you at the club. What did she mean?”
Aries lets out a grunt, drops his arm from my hair, and places it behind his head with the other. Like this, he looks like every girl’s dream.
“Tara is just a bitch I’ve fucked a couple times since moving here. She’s a random chick who comes to the strip club we own. Kevlar usually manages, but I help him with the security and whatnot when he needs it,” he explains, eyes coming to me. “You need to understand I ain’t been living some monk’s life. I’ve fucked more than my fair share of women.”
“I didn’t think you did,” I tell him. How could I want to think something like that when I didn’t? I might have done it against my will, but still, I didn’t abstain from sexual activities. I wouldn’t, nor could I hold it against Aries. It wouldn’t be fair to him.
“All you need to know, Rory,” he says, watching me closely, “is that I’m not gonna fuck around on you. That ain’t who I am.”
Could I actually fully believe he would want only me? Even Roger took other women when he wanted to. It might not have been often, but he did it.
“I can see your mind working. What’s going on in that head of yours?”
I shrug and start to pull away, only for him to flash an arm out and draw me against him.
“Don’t pull away from me,” he orders.
“I wasn’t,” I lie.
Aries narrows his gaze, twists us until I’m beneath him, and pins me to the bed. “Don’t lie to me, Rory, it only pisses me off.”
“I’m not.” Okay, I totally am, but he doesn’t need to know that.
Aries makes a growling noise in the back of his throat and narrows his gaze to tiny little slits. “Told you not to lie to me. You start talking, or I’ll make you start. Either way, you talk.”
“You’ll make me talk?”
“Yeah, I’ll make you, and this time it won’t be anything like what I did to you earlier,” he warns.
I stay silent for a moment, contemplating my choice, and decide not to take my chances. “I just was thinking about the fact I don’t know if I can believe you can stick to only one woman.”
Aries remains silent for long moments after I admit to what I wasn’t willing to tell him. Instead of looking mad, a grin falls into place, and he dips his head down enough for our lips to brush one another as he says, “Guess I’ll just have to prove you wrong, Scamp.”
He shifts between my legs, his much larger form, naked at that, presses into me, his cock pressing at my entrance.
“What are you doing?” I gasp, eyes widening.
“About to fuck some sense into you.”
“But we just?—”
“And?” he interrupts me, keeping me from finishing my statement.
“You can’t . . .”
“But I can, and am, Scamp.” He chuckles and slides inside me, pushing through my slick walls until he’s seated fully inside me.
My body tightens around him, and he doesn’t bother waiting around to give me the time to adjust to his girth. Or the pleasure and pain mixture of the invasion.
“Aries,” I cry out and wrap my legs around his waist, my arms going around his neck.
Aries grunts and takes me, his body moving within mine with fast, hard thrusts. It doesn’t take long for him to have me coming unraveled.
“That’s right, baby,” he coos sweetly but keeps his movements harsh. “You’re mine, Rory. All fuckin’ mine, and no one is going to be able to fuck you the way I will. No bitch could ever come close to this pussy.”
“Oh God.”
“Not God fuckin’ you, Scamp.” He growls, his cock thrusting, hitting just the right spot that drives me crazy. “When it comes to you, no one, and I mean no one, will come between us again. Not that fuckwad. Not some random bitch. It’s only you and me, Rory. Say it, baby.”
“Only you and me.” I gasp, not sure why I’m repeating his words other than him telling me to.
“That’s right, just you and me. Bitches can try all they want, but this dick slides into only one pussy from now on, and that’s yours. You got me?”
“Yes.” I nod jerkily and hold on as he picks up pace and takes me over the edge into the abyss. My eyes haze over, and I’m left feeling more than I thought possible, and that’s with how he’d made me feel the other time we did it.
Aries jerks up, arms going under my thighs, shifts, and plows harder into me, taking me until he snarls my name, his cum spurting inside me.
In the midst of such heaven, a thought crosses my mind like I’d been plunged into the Arctic Ocean. He hadn’t used a condom. Not the first time, nor this time.
Aries drops next to me, his cock popping out my entrance with a squishing noise that I would probably have found embarrassing any other time. He drags me into his arms and holds me there, arms tight. “When I say you’re mine, Scamp, means I’m also yours. No one else enters this room. Nor do they get close to this bed.
“But what about out there?” He says one thing, but systematics really do mean something in the real world. “You say no one in here, but what about on the other side of the door?”
Aries slides his fingers into my hair, grips tight enough not to hurt me to get my attention as he lifts my head. “This is the last time I’m saying it, Rory. There isn’t gonna be other bitches touching my cock. I’ve got the pussy I want right here in my bed.”
“Okay,” I breathe out. Hearing the sincerity of his words, I could tell he’s speaking the truth. Or I hope that’s what I’m seeing.
“Now, let’s get some sleep, Scamp, I’ve slept like shit this past week, and I’m wiped.”
“Why didn’t you use a condom?” I blurt out.
“I didn’t,” he confirms, lifts, and brushes his lips against mine. “I’ve never fucked you with a condom on. Not back then. Not gonna do it now.”
“But you don’t know if I’m clean or not,” I tell him. “For that matter, I don’t know if you are.”
Roger never wore one either, and he’d taken me after taking other women.
“If you’re worried about fuckwad having given you something, Mace ran your blood work. He checked you out and gave me the report. You’re good, Scamp. Nothing to worry about.”
“You say that like it was just me to have to worry about,” I grumble and try to pull away from him.
“You think I’d fuck you without knowing I was clean?” he demands, forcing me to stay exactly where I was. “I wouldn’t do that to you, Rory. One, because I’d had a physical a month ago. Mace’s parents came by the clubhouse demanding we all get one. As his mother stated, we’re around women who have no problem taking as many men as they can. She doesn’t want to see any of us getting an STD before she officially retires.”
“Yeah, so now, you know I’m clean,” he states, getting back on topic. “You got nothing to worry about?—”
“Yes, I do,” I cut him off.
“What’s that?”
“I’m not on birth control,” I tell him. “I haven’t been since before the miscarriage.” A pang of hurt flows through me at the easy way I mention it. For so long, I’ve struggled with thinking about it, and in this past week, I’ve not only had to tell him but it’s been on my mind a lot.
Aries stares at me for a bit before finally shrugging and letting my hair go. “So, you get pregnant, you get pregnant.”
The nonchalant way he states this gives me a shiver that courses up and down my spine and has my stomach twisting. He couldn’t mean that, could he? The thought of being pregnant for so long has terrified me. I don’t know how else to feel about it.
