Epilogue

Acid - One month Later

I smile as I enter our home, my eyes going to a picture of Perrie, Cassidy, and Natalie with Aunt Holly, before she passed, on the small table near the door. I kiss two fingers, placing them on the image of my aunt.

Canine went nomad for a little while after she passed, but thankfully, he’s back now and just in time to witness Piston become a father.

Holly Addie Mathews.

She’s fucking perfect, and named after her great aunt and a man who left the safety of the guard house to try and save her momma, a man whose prospect cut hangs in church.

Holly’s birth has brought some happiness to the club, especially after losing Aunt Holly, and with Aurora still missing.

Piston can’t fucking track her and Axe has been staying at the clubhouse lately, since the club managed to track the rest of The Killer’s and end them.

As soon as we get proof he was involved with them, he’s a dead man.

“Tinker?” I shout as I walk into the house, but frown when she doesn’t answer.

I head to the kitchen, concerned, before I notice her sitting on the swing seat in the yard, staring off into space.

“Hey, sweetheart,” I say as I walk out the door, my eyes taking her in.

She’s in one of my shirts and nothing else, her hair in waves down her back.

Fuck me, my wife is hot.

She gives me a smile, but it doesn’t reach her eyes, and I kneel before her, taking her hands in mine. My thumb instantly goes to her engagement and wedding rings.

“Tough day?” I ask, and she nods. I furrow my brows and question, “You want to spar?”

She shakes her head. “No.” I hum with suspicion but nod, and she smiles, demanding, “Hold me.”

I grin at that and, not one to deny her, I stand, picking her up, before taking her seat and placing her sideways on my lap. Her head instantly goes to my neck, and she inhales. I sigh in contentment, slowly moving the swing with my foot.

“Holly Addie Mathews,” I say after a few minutes, and Perrie sits up, her eyes widening in shock.

“Nat had the baby?” she asks with a gasp, and I grin.

“Yeah, Tinker. She’s been in labor for two days.” Her mouth drops open, and I nod. “Yeah, I know. Thankfully, Steal walked in with Cassidy over his shoulder, and despite being an ER doctor, she delivered Holly without any complications, though Medic did pass out, which was fucking funny; his eyes rolled back and everything.”

She grins. “That’s amazing news, though, not Medic. I thought he was medically trained….” Her words halt before she snaps, “What do you mean Steal had Cass over his shoulder?”

I wince and admit, “Yeah, something about finding out a secret she’s kept, and Nat knew but didn’t say anything because of a favor she owed. Cass tried to make a run for it after delivering Holly, but because the baby was still in the room, she couldn’t scream when Steal put her back over his shoulder.”

Perrie’s face pales slightly, and I raise a brow at the guilty look in her eyes.

She clears her throat as she grips my cut and stammers, “W-well, I uh, you see. Dammit, you can’t be mad because she’s my sister, and it wasn’t my story to tell, and, in my defense, I didn’t know until she came back….”

Ah, crap….

I sigh. “Spit it out, Tinker….”

She winces, but as she opens her mouth, our back gate opens, and a thunderous Steal storms in.

Fuck.

“Uh oh,” Perrie whispers, and I drop my head, knowing, even though she’s most likely in the wrong, I’m going to have to stand by her and hit my prez if he shouts at her.

“You can’t shout at me; I’m pregnant,” Perrie blurts, and my head shoots up in shock, and Steal freezes instantly.

“What?” I breathe out, and her tears fall.

She doesn’t look at me, only keeps her eyes on Steal, and states, “It’s a mind fuck as it is. No amount of therapy visits is going to get my head around the fact I aborted a baby because I knew I couldn’t carry my rapist’s child, and now I’m pregnant with my husband’s, and I still feel a little broken inside, and I’m petrified I’ll emotionally harm my baby.”

Fuck….

Steal slowly walks our way before kneeling, and I grip Perrie as he grabs her hands.

“Darling,” Steal whispers with pain for her, all while my heart pounds.

Pregnant. We’re having a baby.

Fuck, am I good enough to be a father?

Pregnant…. Fuck!

“You held a gun to her head,” Perrie sobs, and Steal flinches. “She didn’t know then, but it’s not the point. You held a gun to her head after dragging her by the hair, listening to your fuck buddy,” fuck even I flinch at her words this time, the anger in them. “You never asked her what happened, and now, even I don’t know, but it was enough to shake her. You told her you’d kill her if she returned, so if she’d had come to your door and said, ‘I’m having your baby,’ would you have listened?”

I look at Perrie in shock.

Cass was pregnant?

What the actual fuck!

Steal looks down, ashamed.

“Did she have the baby, Perrie?” I ask, and she looks at me with teary eyes.

“She did,” she admits, and a breath whooshes out of me, and Perrie looks at Steal and says, “You need to beg, you need to plead, not be angry. You threatened to kill her! You can’t be mad that she kept Moira from you, for protecting her child from the man who said he loved her and then held a gun to her head.”

“Moira,” Steal whispers, and Perrie’s eyes soften.

“Yeah, after your mom.” She sighs. “You need to worship the ground she walks on, Steal, if you want anything to do with your daughter, and you need to ensure that bitch doesn’t go near her.”

His jaw ticks, and he snaps, “And what about Cass, huh? What if I want her as well?”

Perrie flinches. “I don’t know. You hurt her, and the fact you kept Faith around?—”

Steal cuts her off and states, “I haven’t touched Faith in years!” I raise a brow at him, and he sighs, admitting, “I haven’t touched any girl in years.” My mouth hangs open in shock as Perrie blinks and Steal murmurs, “Faith wanted to suck me off that day and as punishment to Cass, and for one second, I allowed her to get on her knees, before I realized why I was so mad. Before her hands could even pull my jeans down, I shoved her away and threatened her.” He looks at Perrie. “Your sister is the last person I slept with, Perrie, but I guess she won’t be able to say the same with the man hanging around her, hey?”

Perrie winces but says, “I don’t know who the man is, Steal, but again, you were the one who held a gun to her head. If she has moved on, you’ve only got yourself to blame. But in my honest opinion, I don’t think he means anything to her other than a friend.”

He nods as he mumbles, “How the fuck did I come here to confront you, only to be put in my place instead?” I smirk before he leans forward, kisses Perrie’s head, and whispers, “This baby is going to love the shit outta you. And just remember, you lose your way, you have a full club behind you to get you back on track.”

Tears fall as Perrie nods before Steal looks my way. He winces at my raised eyebrow, knowing he’s on my shit list for barging in that way, then he sighs, “I’ll see you in the ring in the morning, brother.”

I nod as he stands and walks to the gate, but before he can leave, Perrie asks, “Where is my sister?”

Steal turns with a smirk and admits, “At my home where she belongs, and so will our daughter be later on when we pick her up from daycare. I’m not letting them go, and don’t worry, your mom won’t have any access to them.”

Perrie’s mom has left her alone, but Cass, on the other hand is a different story. The woman seems to think she can convince her to hand over half her share of the house money. If she finds out about Moria, it wouldn’t surprise me if she tries something stupid to get Cass to agree.

Perrie nods and says, “Well, that’s a start, but remember, she can fight….”

Steal chuckles and says, “Yeah, but so can I,” as he walks out the gate, and I look back at Perrie.

She side-eyes me, and I raise a brow before she sighs and asks, “Are you mad at me?”

I tilt my head and ask, “About you blurting out your pregnancy to my president or keeping the fact we have a niece secret?” She gives me a sheepish smile, and I sigh, pulling her closer to me. "You should have told me about Moira.”

“I’m sorry…” she whispers, but I nod in understanding. Cass is her sister, and I would have been obligated to tell my president, even though I see Cass as family.

“And the baby?” I question, and her eyes tear up.

“I had an inkling yesterday. The doctor confirmed I’m five weeks along. I’m scared, though, Ol. I'm so scared,” she admits with a sob, and I pull her closer to me, and press my lips against her forehead.

“I’m scared too, Tinker,” I admit to her, and she places her nose into my neck. “But we can be scared together, and like Steal said, we have a whole club behind us, and this baby will be so loved.”

I move my hand over her stomach, and a feeling of completion hits me. The fear disappears, and excitement takes over.

“I hope we have a little girl who's just like you,” I whisper, and she snorts.

“She may want to fight,” she replies, a smile lifting as she looks at me.

I freeze momentarily before shaking my head. “Nope, no, not happening. I already have one woman in my life who fights. My daughter will not. If anything, she’s going to be wearing pink dresses and having tea parties….”

Perrie laughs, and I smile at the sound before I kiss her hard, shoving my tongue into her mouth. She moans and moves so she’s straddling me, and my hands go to her thighs.

Parents, we’re going to be fucking parents….

“I love you,” she whispers against my lips, and I smile, replying, “I love you too, Tinker, and I promise, every step of the way, I’ll be with you, and this baby with all its aunts and uncles will be cherished. We can do this, you and me, always.”

She nods, her eyes tearing up again before she kisses me, and I moan as I wrap my arms around her, holding her close to me.

Getting help and confronting my past was the best decision I ever made. It brought me back to this girl, who has held my heart since I was a kid, who has centered me…who gives me five kids, our first being a girl who loves fighting just like her momma. And honestly, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world.
