College is full of surprises — but a living gargoyle?

Being a freshman is hard enough when you're shy and have the worst luck ever. Trying to fit in with my classmates is another disaster on the horizon, but cleaning up the mossy gargoyle statue on campus? That seems safe. At least, until I find out the grumpy stone giant is actually alive.

While everyone else treats him like a decoration, I can't help but the attraction between us. He's ancient, brooding, and has been guarding the school for centuries. But somehow, with him, I finally feel like I belong. But falling for a gargoyle? That wasn't exactly in my college plan.

He saved me from the captain of the spaceship, who kidnapped me…

When these hulk coal-gray aliens come to my food stall, I know they aren't good news. First, they try to jump the queue, then they try not to pay me anything. But… I wasn't expecting them to kidnap me.

Zil, one of those big aliens, promises he would help me, but I'm not sure whether I should believe him. When he says we should pretend to be mates, this is the craziest thing I've ever heard of.

I'm stuck on this stupid spaceship anyway, and if there's a chance, his plan will work… He can hold me in his arms and care for me, but he can't make me stay herelonger than I must.

I should have known better than picking up this gray uzain from the forest with dangerous beasts.

One, he wakes up trying to kill me. Two, he refuses to work like everyone else. Three, he tries to steal food from us. If he thinks we'll let him do whatever he's dead wrong. Maybe he is handsome and strong, but that's not an excuse. I'll find out whether he's a danger to the village. We may be a stranded village out on a distant planet, but it doesn't mean I've given up. I'm the leader of the village, I'm never giving up.

After he tried to steal our food, he can't be trying to steal my heart, right?

My team is there to catch the robbers, but hes in my path and refuses to leave

I have him withheld to teach him a lesson, but when Im heading to the parking lot, the snowstorm has us snowed in

He annoys me, but with the broken heating system, his spaceship may be the only place thats safe. I hate that, but we have to stay alive in his dumb spaceship. Worse, theres only one bed

He may be innocent, but he cant impress me just by acting nice, not just like that. Well, his four arms wont sweeten the deal either. Yet keeping myself away from him may be harder than I expected.

Will whats between us remain after the snowstorm is over? Or will everything melt with the snow?

His four arms seem to seep into my personal space. Day by day, he seems to move closer to me.

It is the first day at school where I become a librarian. The school hall is crowded with air sucked out of my lungs. There comes Telke, the big kotoll sports teacher with his four arms, sitting next to me, feeling like hell squeeze into me even when hes just there, seated.

It feels like I run into him all the time at school. I was getting annoyed until an accident happened and he wasnt around me all the time. Maybe I miss the big guy, or its just a thing with habit.

Which is harder? For him to keep four hands off me or for me to keep my two hands off him?
