Chapter 3
(Gage)
The allure of an adorable smile
Demos were second nature Gage at this point, he’d done them at too many clubs to keep track of, and not just in the United States. The cutie they’d chosen as a scene partner for him was as experienced as he was, and they’d drawn quite a crowd as they’d demonstrated all the ways the diaper itself, as well as all the interesting things one could put inside of it, could be used to enhance the pleasure of both partners.
From coating the inside with numbing cream to sprinkling itching powder or even dousing it in cinnamon or nettle oil, there were so many possibilities. Rub the inside with ginger, ginger plugs, mutual masturbation with the diaper, cutting a hole in the back for plugs or tails, or just as a means of fucking the little while he still had it on. There were so many options that Gage found himself close to going over his allotted time before he’d demonstrated more than half of them.
Out of the corner of his eye he caught sight of a little cutie with a yellow binky and backward baseball cap, kneeling on a chair, eyes glued to the demonstration. The moment his eyes locked with the brilliant blue ones of the curious little, recognition hit, and he nodded, only to receive a wiggle, bounce and little wave in return. The way the boy smiled so brightly even around the binky, was a reminder to Gage of how long it had been since he’d had a boy of his own and not just a demo partner.
Shit.
Demo
Focus, fucker.
Still, he wiggled his fingers at the little before showing the Daddies a black and silver diaper that had been modified to fit a cock cage. As he paraded his scene partner around the space by the leash he’d attached to the cage, Gage caught sight of the little with the yellow pacifier again, only this time he wasn’t alone. A stern-faced Daddy looked none too pleased as he was speaking to the boy, leaving Gage to wonder just what the little had done to earn that level of displeasure from his Daddy, especially when the man pointed back in the direction of the little’s playroom, and gave the boy a smack on the ass as he started scrambling that way.
Twenty minutes later he was free to seek out answers, and the little who’d left him longing for a formal introduction ever since he’d first laid eyes on him. The first time he’d caught sight of him had been when he’d been taking a tour of the sound booth he’d be running if he accepted the position of lead sound engineer for one of the forerunning children’s shows on the public television network.
Zach was one of the principal characters and part of every taping, so Gage had seen him daily from there on out. He played the wicked weasel, the show’s primary villain, and in the two weeks since Gage had been with the show, he’d never really seen him interact with anyone outside of the writers and production assistants. Having the added connection of the club might prove to be a bonus in getting to know him.
A quick glance around the playroom soon left him disappointed when he didn’t spot Zach anywhere. Still, he recognized Hank through the club he and Gage’s brother rode with, so he headed to where the man stood with a long-haired leather Mama he thought was named Mimzy. Donovan was with them too and waved to him as soon as he approached.
“If the rest of your demo was anything like the intro, I’ll bet the shop sells out of damn near everything you showed them tonight.”
“Good. I hope it acts as a lesson in ingenuity too. These young Doms and Dommies have gotten way too comfortable with walking into a shop and just buying what they think they need. They’ve forgotten how to do their own research and get creative.” Gage said.
“Nothing will ever be more fun than something me and my girl make together,” Mama Mimzy said.
“The moment Ryu introduced me to silicone molds and resin I started getting really damned creative about what kinds of shapes I could mold silicone into. We rarely buy the prefabricated ones anymore. I just go off the ideas Ryu and I draw up, then we have a hell of a good time exploring all the possibilities and pleasure points of what we created.
“Exactly,” Mimzy said. “And it’s not even about the finished product, either. It’s the time you get to spend together bringing it to life.”
“The moment Ryu sees me getting frustrated about a project, he brings me his sketchpad or a page from his coloring book for us to do together. A reminder of why I fell in love with art in the first place.”
“See, that right there is what the Daddy/boy bond is supposed to be,” Gage said. “I’d love to find a little like that.”
“Well, there are a few unaccompanied littles in the room tonight,” Donovan said as he looked around. “Kenny over there, in the red coveralls, is unaccompanied and hasn’t had a Daddy since he started coming to the club a few months ago, and the ginger with the train is Nicholas. His Daddy recently broke off their long-distance relationship.”
“Actually, I spotted a little earlier that I was hoping to see back here, but perhaps he’s in the art room now or one of the other little spaces.”
“Which one?” Hank asked.
“Little blond with a yellow pacifier,” Gage explained, not wanting to give the name he knew him by in case it wasn’t the one Zach went by here.
“Ahh, Zachy,” Hank said, though by his tone and posture Gage could tell he was displeased about something. “That Daddy of his took him home, though if you ask me, Zachy wasn’t the one who needed punishing.”
“Hank…”
“Look, I’ve never been one to step on anyone’s toes…”
Mimzy snorted, then dabbed at her eyes as she snorted again, and laughter bubbled over.
“Dude, who the fuck do you think you’re trying to sell that bullshit to?” Donovan asked as he smirked at his friend.
“Fine, so I’ve been known to stomp a few toes to bits when it’s been warranted,” Hank conceded, “which it might need to be in this case.”
“I just don’t get why he didn’t take Zachy by the hand and walk him to the bathroom and back if he was so worried about him getting sidetracked. He’s a little, for fuck’s sake, of course he’s going to wander away if something fascinated him.”
“He wasn’t even wandering,” Gage pointed out. “He was kneeling on a chair watching my demonstration.”
“That doesn’t surprise me,” Hank said. “He strikes me as a curious one but when Cooper brings him here, all he does is point him to a place to sit and try to make him stay there until he’s ready to take him into one of the other rooms.”
“Sounds to me like he’s a Daddy in need of a pup, not a little, and not a rambunctious puppy either, but a mature pup who prides himself on his ability to hold positions for a long time.”
“I know a few who get off on that,” Donovan pointed out. “I could easily set him up with one if he expressed an interest. They’re both new to the club though, and new to the dynamic, so it could just be a case of them still finding their footing with one another.”
“I would be fine with that if it didn’t feel like he was stifling the poor boy’s curiosity in the process,” Mimzy said.
“If I didn’t have Ryu I’d look to take that boy away from him,” Hank declared.
“Well then it’s a good thing you have Ryu,” Gage replied, “Because I’m interested in Zachy myself. Anyone know how long they’ve been together?”
“Over a year but most of it was long distance,” Donovan said. “I guess they got together for a cruise that didn’t go well since Zachy was all over the place and wouldn’t settle down until Cooper blew up at him. Ever since then I keep expecting to hear that they’ve ended things, but so far, he’s just been keeping with his plan of making Zachy sit down and observe the other littles at play until he learns how to interact.”
“So, what’s he doing while the boy is sitting?” Gage asked.
“Picking our brains, watching demos, observing other Daddies,” Hank said. “Which is all well and good, but he hasn’t given himself or Zachy a chance to see if anything they’ve learned works for them in their dynamic. I feel like he’s got that kid living in limbo, afraid to mess up the littlest bit, but doomed to do so even without trying, because the rules are too rigid for his little self to conform too. As soon as he sinks fully into the headspace, his impulses take over.”
“Is he being disruptive?” Gage asked.
“No.” Mimzy said. “That’s the thing. I guess he was on the trip, darting around and weaving between people and not waiting for Cooper to catch up, that sort of thing, but he isn’t like Finn was where he’d throw things or break them if he was told he had to share or wait to play with something. Mostly he just has a hard time staying put, that’s the biggest bone of contention Cooper has with him. He keeps ordering Zachy to sit and stay someplace, or tonight, go and come right back. Seven times out of ten Zachy manages it without Cooper having to go look for him, but those three times are what gets his privileges taken away, so I doubt we’ll see either of them at the Wet n’ Wild event.”
“Don’t be too sure about that,” Gage said. “There are still tickets available, right?”
“Yeah, a few.”
“Then I’d better move my ass.”
“Wait, what the hell are you planning to do?” Donovan asked as Gage hurried for the door.
“What do you think,” Gage replied over his shoulder. “I’m gonna get tickets for me and Zachy to go to the Wild n’ Wet event.”
“Hell yeah!” Hank called out, then immediately looked sheepish when every little face in the room stared at him with big bug eyes as he dug around in his leathers before placing a bill in Mimzy’s palm.
Gage chuckled all the way to the office, where he purchased two of the last passes to the event. If Zachy wanted to go, he’d have every opportunity, and if he didn’t, then Gage hoped to still get to know him better. It would be nice to have a friend in the workplace and if Gage should wind up with another little, then at the very least he hoped Zachy would be their friend too.
Gage couldn’t help but feel like Zachy needed one, especially after what he’d witnessed from the sound booth. He just wondered if Zachy had told his Daddy about the way the rest of the cast members had alienated him, or if the little with the big blue eyes was desperately waiting on the sidelines, hoping for the right Daddy to notice him.
