9. Devin
Chapter 9
Devin
When I woke up on Monday morning, the memory of making Zach come in my hand while I drank from him got me hard all over again. And that's when I remembered I was basically glued to my underwear like a twelve-year-old boy waking up from a wet dream.
The best part was that I wasn't even embarrassed. Zach didn't seem upset by what happened, so I wasn't going to be either.
And if he let me do it again—maybe with him pounding me from behind—all the better.
He was walking out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist when I entered the hall. "Good morning, Devin. Did you sleep well?"
Okay, so we weren't completely pretending last night didn't happen. "Yeah, thanks. Once I passed out, I was totally out. And I feel a lot better."
Zach pressed his left pec muscle with his palm and then his right. "Me too. I didn't even need to pump this morning, so thank you."
"Anytime." I meant that literally, but I tried to keep my tone casual. I didn't want to come off as too clingy now that we were making such good progress. "I'm gonna take a quick shower, and I'll be ready to leave in twenty."
"Me too." He walked past me to his room and then turned back. "Would you prefer an egg sandwich or one of the frozen burritos we picked up?"
"Frozen is fine. That's faster, and I'm not sure I can even eat that much." I pressed my hand to my belly, and Zach's eyes followed my motion, continuing south until they stopped at the big wet spot in the front of my shorts.
He sucked in a breath and turned around. "You're gonna do great, Dev. Don't worry."
After a quick shower that included exactly thirty seconds of masturbation before I exploded into the spray, I was dressed in chinos and a polo shirt, a preppy version of my usually grungy self.
I used a tiny bit of the hair product Zach bought me and shoved it through my hair, doing my best to make it look tamed while being an inch longer than I liked. That was something else I needed to take care of after I got a paycheck.
When I was finally ready, I went to the kitchen just as Zach was pulling the burritos out of the microwave. "Just in—" His words faltered as he took a look at me. "Damn, Devin. You look amazing."
I felt my neck warming as his appraising gaze washed over me. "Thanks."
He shook his head and placed the plates on the peninsula. "Let's eat. I'm gonna head out first. Just give me a five-minute head start and then you can head out too." He snapped his fingers then went to the key rack by the garage door. "Almost forgot to give you this." He held up a key ring with a single key hanging from it.
"A key?"
"Yeah, this works in the first door and the back door. Just lock up when you leave, and if I need to stay late, you won't be waiting for me."
A lump burned in my throat as I reached for the key. "Thank you. I promise to be careful with it."
Zach cocked his head and smiled. "I know you will, Dev. I'm not worried at all."
I'd never had a fun job, but this was truly a good time. Pam was really sweet and so appreciative of everything I did that I wanted to do more. I was never bored and never checked the clock to see if it was time for a break. In fact, if Pam didn't force me to go to lunch with her as a welcome-to-the-office thing with a few other staff, I wouldn't have stopped at all.
Somewhere around three thirty, Pam handed me a stack of checks that needed to be signed by Zach and told me to go sit in his office until he stopped what he was doing and signed them.
I was happy for the excuse to check in with him and quietly poked my head through his doorway. "Hey, Zach. Can I interrupt you?"
"Of course." He typed a few more lines before taking off his reading glasses and looking at me. "Can you close the door behind you?"
I shut the door and sat down in the chair directly across from him. "We need your signature."
"Sure." He reached for the checks and placed them on the desk by his laptop. "So, how's your first day going?"
"Great." I probably seemed a little giddy, but it was genuinely how I felt. "It's so fun. I can't believe such an easy job pays so well. Who knew?"
Zach chuckled and seemed pleased by my reaction. "I'm happy to hear it. Pam has been gushing about you all day." He looked up at me and winked. "I think she might have a crush."
I barked out a laugh over that. "Maybe, but I have my eye on someone else." My voice dropped several decibels as I stood up and leaned over his desk. "He's hot and nice and lets me have all the milk I want." It was one of those inappropriate things Zach kept warning me not to say, but I couldn't help it. I was so happy, and no one could hear me anyway.
A little flirting in private never hurt anyone.
He just shook his head but his smile didn't drop. "Well, I'm glad you're having a good first day. Think about what you want for dinner, and I can pick it up on the way home." He turned to the stack of papers in front of him as he slipped on his glasses.
I watched him scan each page before signing, and I fell a little harder for the guy. Since the moment I met Zach, I'd been physically attracted to him. But after getting to know him just a tiny bit, I realized he was such a good human. Genuinely kind and caring and the sexiest dude I'd ever met. Not to mention the fact that he traveled with an endless supply of warm milk. He was the total package!
When Zach was finished with the signatures, he handed me the stack of pages across his desk.
I took them and pressed them up against my chest like a schoolboy asking someone to go to the prom. "Hey, do you think I could make tacos tonight?"
A wide smile blossomed across Zach's face. "Yeah, that sounds great. Do we have everything you need?"
"Yeah. I made sure we got everything yesterday. Chicken and steak, good?"
"That sounds great. You can get out of here somewhere around five, but I'll probably not get home until closer to six."
I bounced on my toes and smiled at my boss and the man I wanted in every way. "Perfect. I'll see you at home."
