Chapter 23 Cathy

Chapter 23 Cathy

Eric woke me up by kissing my back and caressing my neck. He glued his muscular body to mine and rubbed his hard cock on my ass.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty," he whispered in my ear, and I felt his fresh morning scent. "Sorry, I just couldn’t resist," he says and laughs with complicity.

My body had completely bristled from his touch. I turned and kissed his lips.

"Eric, Elliot might hear us," I replied.

"He won’t because he’s still asleep," he replied as he continued to touch my body. "I can hear him snoring from here."

I tried to listen but failed. It must have been because my senses were not as sharp as others of my kind.

"I must take Elliot to school and then go to my job," I said, answering his kisses.

"Look at the sky. The sun hasn’t risen yet," he pointed toward the window of my room, and just glimpses of the sun were coming up over the horizon behind some trees. "It won’t take long."

I couldn’t resist any longer and fell for his game, wrapped my hand around his manhood, and massaged it as he kissed me on the neck.

"Bite me," I asked him without thinking. I felt fiercer as if my body was drawn to his like two magnets, and my primal instincts were taking control over me.

Eric ground his teeth into my neck right next to the mark, and I felt as if he had given me a dose of dopamine.

"You’re so wet," Eric said, rubbing my clit with his fingertips. "I like this so much."

He massaged my clit, making me moan and get wetter.

"Make me yours," I implored him. "I can’t take any more."

The sun had risen a little, and the light reflected right into Eric’s eyes, making them look clearer.

"Your wish is my command," he said, settling me on the bed and mounting on top of me.

His face was in front of mine, and he rested my legs on his shoulders and looked me straight in the eyes as he slowly pushed his cock into my wet pussy.

"Keep going," I gasped.

He pushed his hard cock inside me. My body was in ecstasy from feeling him again, but this time was totally different, more intimate, as if our bodies were dancing to the same tune of a perfect sonata.

"Say my name," he demanded in a firm voice as he squeezed my breasts with both hands. "Say you are mine!"

He started to accelerate his thrusts, and in that position, he could go deeper. My back went straight, and I couldn’t hold back the moans.

"Eric!" I held back my voice so as not to wake the boy. "I’m yours, and I’m only yours."

Eric kept massaging my breasts as he made me his, and I had to cover my mouth to stifle my moans.

"I like to hear you moan," he told me, speeding up the rite even more.

I removed my hands from my mouth and clenched the sheets tightly as he rammed into me wildly. I was wild, too, and wanted to moan, but I bit my lower lip hard to keep from doing so.

Eric drew up the corner of his lips and grabbed me by the hips to get more control over me.

"If you keep this up, I’m going to cum," I let him know.

He slipped his fingers into his mouth and wet them to stimulate my clit as he went deeper into my pussy. I felt a tingling that spread like water throughout my body until I couldn’t take it anymore and climaxed, panting very hard.

"Shhh," Eric covered my mouth and slowed the rhythm, and I could feel myself climaxing too.

After he finished, he lay down next to me. The sun was fully up, and it was almost time to start my day.

"Where are you going?" he grabbed my hand, pulling me back to bed.

"I have to wake Elliot and make breakfast," I said.

"You take care of him. I’ll make breakfast," he said, giving me a kiss and getting out of bed, and heading for the bathroom.

He came out with his face washed and dressed casually for the first time since we met.

"I left the tub filling up with hot water just the way you like it," he said, leaving the room.

I searched for the clothes I would wear in my closet, a lilac blouse and white pants with white sandals. I placed them on the bed, then jumped into the tub and took a quick bath.

I got dressed and sprayed one of the many fragrances I had on my dresser, all unique ones.

I crossed the hall and noticed that Elliot wasn’t in his room. I came out and found him in his school uniform, sitting at the table while his father served him some pancakes with cream cheese and honey.

"How could you make breakfast and get Elliot dressed so quickly?" I asked him.

"I thought you dressed him," he told me, raising an eyebrow.

We both looked at our son with intrigue.

"I did it by myself. Nani taught me how to dress and fix my school stuff," he replied, proud of what he had accomplished in such a short time.

I sat down next to Eric. He was setting out my breakfast and a cup of hot coffee.

"I’ll pay her double next time," I commented as we enjoyed our breakfast.

After we finished eating, I cleared the table while Eric helped me put Elliot in the car and my work tools, too. We took Eric into the school, and I introduced him to the teacher as my son’s father and felt great doing it.

Elliot, before we entered the classroom, ran back into Eric’s arms. His father picked him up in his arms and wrapped him. "I want to spend more time with you," he said.

"So do I, son," he carried him to the entrance and tousled his hair before letting him go. "I love you."

I was lucky to have Eric by my side.

"Now, what will you do?" I asked him.

"Go with you to your job," he said, getting into my car. "I want to live the whole experience of your daily r routine."

I was glad to know he would be with me, but I was afraid he would be bored because, in my store, all I do is check accounts or create new fragrances.

"It will be good to have a man in the store," I said. "I’ll probably ask you to help me carry some things."

"There, you’re the boss." He winked at me and led the way to business.

When I arrived, I noticed that there was a crowd of people across the street. Apparently, someone had opened a new store, and it was full of customers. I didn’t think much of it and walked into the perfumery holding hands with Eric, prepared for the looks from the girls and their giggles, but instead, I found them all cheerless, with long faces.

"Why the mood?" I asked, "I thought you’d be glad to see me."

Amanda and Janna, the longest-serving employees working for me, immediately approached me. "We have some very bad news," they said almost in unison.

My pulse began to race, and I inadvertently squeezed Eric’s hand tightly.

"What’s the matter?" I asked.

"Remember the man I told you spent a fortune buying a product of each type last week?" Amanda had tension all over her face.

"Yes, the one who spent a fortune. What happened with that?" I said, looking at both of them.

"Well, he opened a store across the street and plagiarized your work. He’s selling your products with other names and packaging but keeping the same thematic and at much lower prices," Janna mentioned. "And almost all of our customers are now his."

The bubble that kept me in an atmosphere of harmony and happiness exploded. Uncontrollable anger invaded me.

"It’s not possible. It hasn’t been that long," I said. "It must have taken him months to study the fragrances and decipher their components."

Janna grimaced with her mouth and lowered her face. "Sales have dropped too much, even in the other branches. he studied your business and put branches very close to yours to attract your customers. The only one holding steady is the one in Paris."

I put my hands on my head, not knowing what to do, and Eric hugged me from behind, not caring that I was surrounded by my employees.

"It’s going to be okay," he whispered in my ear. "No one can take away what’s yours, least of all a counterfeiter."

I hugged him back, and the girls looked at us in silence.

"I want to go to that store. I want to see it with my own eyes," I said.

"I don’t think it’s a good idea, my love," Eric advised me.

"I feel the same way. The man behind the brand runs that store, and I think it’s not a coincidence," Amanda said, thinking it would calm me down, but what it did was ignite the louvers of my anger even more.

"I’m going to confront him." I slipped out of Eric’s arms and crossed the street with my eyes straight ahead.

"Wait!" Eric yelled, trotting up behind me, "I won’t stop you, but at least let me support you."

I slowed down and waited for him. We reached the crowd of people waiting their turn to enter the place, there were too many of them, and it seemed almost impossible to get through. I started to shake my leg and crossed my arms, thinking about how to persuade all those people to give me passage. But before I decided, Eric grabbed me by the forearm and opened the way for us, pushing the people.

"Excuse me, sir, but you must stand in line like the others," said a rickety man with dark circles. He was guarding the entrance.

"You have two choices, you let us through the easy way, or you let us through the hard way, and I would recommend the first one," Eric said with a firm voice and murderous eyes. "We didn’t come here to shop. We want to talk to your boss."

The man swallowed, shrugged, and opened the door for us.

The perfumery inside was even a replica of mine, with display cases in the same places and the same air freshener. The person in charge had recreated it down to the smallest detail.

"This is too much!" I said, gritting my teeth.

A man dressed in a black suit, a white shirt stained with coffee drips, and square sunglasses stepped out of a door behind a counter, and although I hadn’t seen him before by the way the employees looked at him, I knew he was in charge here.

"You!" I said, clenching my fists and clenching my jaw. "We need to talk."

The man looked at me vaguely, but when he took off his glasses and focused his eyes on me, he loosened his tie and fixed his collar nervously.

"Mrs. North, what an honor to have you here," he said with mock friendliness. "How can I help you?"

He saw the displeasure on Eric’s face and his predator vibes, and the man immediately sweated.

"I want to talk to you now," I said sternly.

"Well, then let’s go to my office," he said, and I followed him to the door where he had come out and stopped before entering. "But you and I only. The office is too small for the three of us."

"No way," Eric said.

I put my palm on his chest. "I can handle this," I said. "Trust me." Eric didn’t look very convinced, but I gave him no choice and walked into the office.

The desk was cluttered with papers, bills, and worn pencils—a complete shamble.

"Coffee or tea?" he offered.

"I didn’t come here to have a tea party," I said, throwing some invoices on the floor so I could sit in the chair. "You plagiarized my product and are stealing my customers."

He sighed and stretched out a smile.

"You have proof of that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

He was a rude and obnoxious person just by his attitude and expression, she could tell, but he was also a shrewd man, so he couldn’t make any mistakes.

"No, but..."

"Then it’s a false accusation without any evidence," he said, crossing his fingers. "I could sue you for damages and prejudice. You know that, right?"

"What the fuck are you saying? You plagiarized my formulas and my business design. I should burn this place to ashes," I said, getting up from my chair and pounding on the desk.

"Plus for psychological damage and threats," he said with the most pronounced smile, pointing his chin at a camera. "You have nothing you can use against me. Instead, I have now."

I clenched my fists and felt the desire to pounce on him and rip him to shreds.

"You won’t get away with it," I said, turning my back on him and throwing the door on my way out.

"It was nice having a chat," he said in a mocking voice.

I stormed out, burning inside. Eric was behind me, not knowing what was going on, as I got to my business and walked into my office.

"What happened?" asked Eric, closing the door behind him. "Did he hurt you?"

"No, but he set me up," I told him, explaining the situation, and I saw in his eyes how he suppressed the urge to turn around and tear that man to pieces.

"You know I can help you. My family knows a lot of people," he told me.

I shook my head. "No, it’s my war, and I have to fight it alone."

Eric hugged me, and I leaned against him with my head full of fears, not having a plan but with the determination to do everything in my power to rat out that man and finish him and his plagiarized brand.
