MATIAS
M y blood is pumping with excitement as I walk into the training room. Ileana has pulled Taren off training the girls, leaving Thiago and me in charge. Finally, I can focus all my attention on breaking Kali.
Thiago falls into step beside me, his expression neutral. "Ileana said Taren is off the girls for now," I say, unable to keep the glee from my voice.
"I heard," Thiago replies, his tone even. "But that doesn't mean we get to fuck them."
I halt in my tracks, rounding on my brother. "What do you mean?" I demand.
Thiago holds my gaze, unwavering. "Ileana made it clear. No more fucking the girls, even with Taren gone."
I clench my fists, fury coursing through me. "That's bullshit!" I snarl. "I need to break my rabbit. I need to claim her! "
"Matias." Thiago's voice is low, warning. "Don't be a fool. No one defies Ileana. We train them, but no more."
I glare at him, chest heaving. He's right, and I hate it. I was so close to having her; now Ileana has stopped me.
With a growl, I turn and stalk toward the cell, Thiago trailing behind me. My mind races, trying to figure out how I can still get to Kali and how I can still make her submit to me. I won't be denied what I want.
As I enter the cell, I spot Kali huddled in the corner, her large chocolate eyes fixed on me. A slow smile spreads across my face. Even if I can't fuck her, I can still break her. I'll find a way to make her mine, one way or another.
I approach her, relishing the fear that flickers across her delicate features. "Hello, rabbit," I murmur, savoring the shiver that runs through her. "Time for your training."
She's so fragile, so tempting. I drink in the sight of her trembling, reveling in the power I hold over her.
Slowly, I trail my fingertips along her arm, savoring how she shudders. Her skin is so soft and warm, and I can't wait to explore every inch of her. I want to uncover all her secrets and break down her defenses until she's begging for my mercy.
I pace away from her, my boots echoing against the cold, concrete floor. Kali watches me warily, her eyes wide and alert.
I drag her to the center of the room and force her to her knees. Thiago stands nearby, his expression impassive. I can tell he's not pleased about Ileana's new restrictions either.
I circle Kali and the two other girls like a predator, studying her every move. She keeps her gaze lowered, trembling slightly. Good. She knows her place.
The training begins with a monotonous routine of exercises and commands. Kali obeys, her movements precise and efficient. But she's not close to breaking.
Frustration builds within me. This is supposed to be about making her submit to my every whim. But the order and structure of the training dampens the thrill. Where is the fear, the desperation? Where is the rabbit I so desperately want to hunt?
I step forward and grip Kali's chin, forcing her to look at me. "You're not even trying, are you?" I snarl. "Where's the fire I saw in you before?"
She stares back at me, her gaze defiant."Fuck you," she mutters.
A growl rumbles in my chest. "I'll be the one doing the fucking, baby." I release her, pacing the room once more.
Thiago watches me, his brow furrowed. "Is there a problem, little brother?"
He knows I'm growing restless. I can't take this anymore. The restraint on my urges is suffocating me. I need to break free and let the darkness inside me run wild. "No, why would there be a problem?" I ask.
Thiago's jaw clenches as he approaches me, lowering his voice. "I can't have you losing it, not right now."
My eyes narrow as I gaze at Kali. Watching her makes my blood sing, but it's not enough. I need more. I need to see the fear in her eyes, to feel her tremble.
The thoughts swirl in my head. I imagine all the ways I could make her scream, all the ways I could shatter her fragile spirit. It's a sickness, but I embrace it. It's what makes me strong, what sets me apart from the weak fools around me.
"Matias," Thiago hisses, drawing my attention back to him. He knows me too well, knows the darkness that lurks beneath my skin.
"There's nothing to worry about," I spit before stalking toward Kali.
She senses my approach and stiffens, her eyes darting to mine. There it is, that flicker of fear. An intoxicating drug I can't get enough of.
I grab her roughly, yanking her to her feet from where she remains, kneeling after Thiago's last request. She gasps, her body colliding with mine. I can feel the heat of her through my clothes, and it makes me want to rip them off and take her right here, in front of everyone.
But I can't. Not yet. Ileana's orders still stand, and even I'm not foolish enough to defy her outright. But there are other ways to break her and make her mine.
"You think you're so strong, don't you?" I whisper. "But I see right through you. I see the weakness, the fear. And I'm going to use it to destroy you."
She shudders, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps. I can practically taste her terror, and it makes my mouth water .
I release her abruptly, shoving her away. She stumbles, catching herself before she falls.
I turn away, my mind racing with possibilities. I'll find a way to break her, to make her mine. And when I do, it'll be a hunt like no other. My little rabbit won't stand a chance.
I need something more. I need to see her tremble, hear her beg, feel the rush of the hunt and the thrill of the chase.
A grin spreads across my face as an idea takes root. Yes, that's what I'll do. I'll give Kali a taste of freedom, a glimmer of hope, and then snatch it away, crushing her spirit once and for all.
The training continues, but my mind is elsewhere, already plotting my next move. Ileana's rules be damned—I'll have her, one way or another.
