Epilogue

Celine

Becoming the Luna of the pack had been quite easy, especially after relinquishing my title as Princess. I have cut contact with my parents and although they tried to ruin our lives, there is no way that they would have told anyone about it. I don't care what they say, feeling a little sick to my stomach about it. I don't know what to do about it, feeling a bit weird about this entire situation. I don't know what to think, knowing it is highly possible that they might retaliate but I'm not sure yet.

"How are you, my love?" Lucian moves to me, wrapping his arms around me as he kisses the side of my neck as he places his hands on my very pregnant belly, "are you okay?"

I slowly nod, making me feel perfect, "I'm doing good. I keep thinking about my parents and how I wish that they would have been more accepting. It's so rude that they couldn't just be happy for us."

He shakes his head, already knowing that this has been bothering me, "I know, my love, and I'm sorry that I couldn't make them understand you. I know that this is kind of my fault and I'm sorry that it happened this way. I just want you to be the happiest woman in the world."

"I know with you that I'm going to be happy." I assure him, licking my bottom lip, "I just hope that maybe one day we are able to fix things that we have been dealing with. I don't know what'll come from it, but I do know it'll be possible. I just want to do what is best for our children."

"I agree." He murmurs, kissing the side of my neck, "I just want you to be happy above all else. You're my everything."

I'm okay with this, just leaning into his embrace. He is my happily ever after and I know that I will never regret him.

We will be happy together, I'm okay with whatever will come next.
