Four
Moon
C row pulls out of me, but before I have time to pout, Kili is there. He pulls me into his lap, kissing my wet skin.
“Who are you?” my unhinged mate growls in my ear as he slams inside me with one hard thrust.
“I’m yours!” I gasp, as he bites down on my shoulder, drawing blood.
“Who are you?” he growls again, the thrusts growing more frantic.
“I’m yours, Kili. I’m yours.” I throw my head back, moaning as I drag my nails down Kili’s chest. I grind against him as he thrusts up into me. My clit rubs against his pubic bone, and I cry out as another orgasm flashes hot through my body. I’m milking Kili’s cock, and it's only another second before he’s coming with me.
He stays inside me as his dick softens, and after several passionate kisses, he finally pulls out. I’m still wrapped around him, my chin resting on his shoulder. When I look over his shoulder at the other men, I nibble my bottom lip.
“Are you not fully satisfied, Mistress?” Kili murmurs against my skin, still pressing kisses to my shoulder and neck.
“I am…” I say, shaking my head.
“But you want a taste of your mates, don’t you?” I look from Silas to Tristan, then to Arlo and Daire. I’ve only sealed the bond with Fenrick, and now Crow and Kili too.
“I want nothing more than to show you the power of my devotion to you, but my need to breed you could get out of control. I don’t know if I can control myself, Moon,” Silas confesses, and starlight help me, my pussy pulses around nothing. Kili chuckles.
“I think she likes the sound of that,” Kili tells the men, and I squeeze him.
“You hush.”
“Finding yourself locked on my knot when the final trial starts would not be ideal,” Silas adds, and I pout.
“Fair. We should probably put our clothes on while we can. The last trial could start any time,” I say, as anxiety creeps up my spine. Now, I’m worried the last trial will start while I’m butt-ass naked.
I scramble off Kili’s lap as he laughs at me. I pull on the clothes Crow left for me with quickness, and once I’m dressed, my nerves settle just a bit.
“Are you hungry?” Crow asks, bringing over a bag of food. The other men are dressed now too, and we’re all gathered around the fire Kili made for our camp tonight. Eight sleeping bags. Six contestants. We never did see Teresa and Percy.
I also haven’t seen Sweet Girl. I hope she’s okay, wherever she is. The gong sounds, scaring the crap out of me, and I nearly drop the bag of food that Crow was trying to hand me.
“Attention contestants of The Tournament of Blood. The final trial will begin in eight hours. Rest well.” The maniacal laughter that follows the announcement is unsettling.
“That guy is creepy,” I complain, as I inspect the food options.
“He really is. I’ve known him many years now, and he never gets any less creepy.” Crow shivers, like just the thought of that guy makes his skin crawl.
“You’ve been quiet, Fen, are you okay?” I ask my Fae mate, scooting a little closer to him. He nods, but the faraway look in his eyes makes me think maybe he isn’t okay after all.
“Knowing that I could have been…touched…that the lives of my nannies didn’t have to be in danger. That I could have played with the other kids growing up…that I didn’t have to be a fucking recluse… It’s fucking with my head. I thought I had to keep my distance for the safety of everyone around me,” Fen scoffs. “Instead, my mother was cursing me to protect her fucking lies.”
“Oh, Fenrick,” I murmur, wrapping my arms around him and holding him tightly, the food forgotten. “I’m so sorry. I wish you didn’t have to go through this.”
“It's not your fault, Moon. Hell, I might never have learned the truth if it weren’t for you.” Fen leans over and presses a soft kiss on my forehead. “I’ll forever be grateful for the moment you fell into my life.”
“I’m glad you’re my Heart Bonded,” I say softly, meaning every word.
I glance across the fire at Daire, who seems to be fully recovered. The final trial is in eight hours… Whoever is left, one of us is going to be the winner.
It has to be me or one of my men. We need those crystals for Daire’s sister.
“We should talk about the trial…” Daire says, and I nod. “We get Moon to the end. She wins. Once we eliminate the rest of the competition, we keep her safe until she’s the last player standing.”
“One of us has to win.” I voice my earlier thoughts. “Daire’s sister needs one of those crystals,” I add.
“Rude,” Crow grumbles, and I turn to frown at him.
“Rude? What’s rude?” I practically snap.
“Rude of you to assume that winning is the only way for you to access an Elven crystal.” Crow snarks right back.
“You’d give one to Daire for his sister?” I ask.
“Of course,” Crow scoffs, looking offended I even asked.
“Then let's go! Why are we even still in these games?!” I throw my hands up. My original plan to use Elven crystals to save my father is long forgotten at this point. The only reason I wanted to win now was to help Daire save his sister.
“You can’t just leave. You can be eliminated and sent to exile island, but you can’t just walk away,” Crow says, lifting his brow at me, and I deflate.
“Oh. Right.”
“You’ll win tomorrow, Moon, and then we’ll go save the others,” Arlo says with a reassuring smile. Seeing his face without the mask makes my heart happy. I love his tusks. I’m glad he’s no longer trying to hide them.
“We’ll figure out what to do after you win tomorrow. Stop worrying because you can’t do anything except wait for the next eight hours. I think you need to get some rest. You all do. Kili and I will keep watch. The rest of you sleep,” Crow demands, and after we all eat a small meal, that's exactly what we do.
