Fifteen

Moon

“ F inally.” I hear Daire complain, and I look up. I have no idea how long I’ve been sitting on the ground, staring at the wall in the distance, but my ass is numb, so there’s that.

“Moon!” Five men shout all at once. I climb to my feet as they all run over, not looking the least bit showered.

Arlo looks relatively clean, but his hair is a mess, and his mask is gone. As is Fenrick’s. My goodness. I think he wears a mask to hide how hot he is. He’s covered up all the way to his neck, though. Still can’t touch anyone but me, that we know of. Daire will not be the sacrificial Vampire.

Cato and Odas both look like they haven’t gotten any sleep in days, and my heart pinches. They were worried about me, I’m sure. Then there’s Tristan. He’s the only one that looks slightly cleaned up, but I can see the stress in his magenta eyes.

Fenrick hangs back, as Arlo reaches me first.

“Thank the fates,” he whispers as he hugs me tightly until I’m snatched out of his arms by a possessive Danger Lizard.

“Mine,” Cato presses his nose to my neck and inhales deeply, before spinning me, so he and Odas can crush me between their chests. I can hardly breathe, but damn does it feel good.

Once they release me, Tristan scoops me off my feet and lifts me by the back of my thighs. I’m forced to grab his shoulders to steady myself. He surprises me by biting my neck hard enough to pierce the skin and takes a long pull of my blood.

“Tristan!” I can’t hide the moan behind my scold, but I tried. He licks the blood off my wound and then hums low in his chest.

“Delicious,” he mumbles, before placing me on my feet. I sway for a moment, before turning to Fenrick. He seems cautious, but I sprint into his arms and pull his head down, so I can kiss him.

“Fuck, Moon,” he groans, and I smile as I take a step back.

“You didn’t greet me like that,” Kili complains, and I snap my head so I can glare at him.

“You lied to me. For years. I thought I told you to be a good boy? This is not good boy behavior!” I stomp over to him, grab a fistful of his tight black shirt and yank, forcing him onto his knees in front of me. I’m like half an inch taller like this.

“Moonlight,” he whispers, and I shove my thumb between his lips, stopping him from speaking. His tongue licks the pad, but I ignore the tingling feeling.

“You have been a very bad boy, Kili.” His pupils dilate, and I can tell he’s enjoying this very much. “If you want me to forgive you, then you better tell me everything. No more lies,” I hiss, and he nods, my thumb still between his lips. I pull my hand free and then lick my thumb clean. He bites his lip as he watches me, and waggle my finger at him. “Behave, Kili.”

Calling him Kili, rather than Jerry, will take some adjusting. When I turn back around, seven men are staring at me.

“Don’t just stand there, let's get moving!” I bark, and Arlo smirks.

“That was hot,” he teases, and I shake my head.

“You hush.” Now that I’m done greeting the guys, Sweet Girl walks back over to me. I pat her head and rub her ear, before asking her the question that’s been burning in the back of my mind. Fingers crossed, I’m an animal psychic now. “Did you find Lust?” She blinks up at me and stomps her foot. “Is that a no?” She drops her head and pushes it into my abdomen, and I grab both her ears, rubbing them. “It’s okay. Thank you for trying.”

Fuck, where did he go…was he already eliminated?
