Epilogue

Things were really coming along. The hospital was over halfway done, and the part that was done was already in use. The college was being built, and online courses were already being offered. Once both were done, part of the college would teach medical courses, and the hospital would train doctors. It was all fascinating. Both villages were full of houses, and all the houses were occupied. It was obvious that they would be in a constant state of construction as more people came asking to join the pack.

Last night, she had shared the news with her mate that they were expecting a child. He'd been so excited, but he'd also been a little scared. That was only normal, and she had to admit she was also a little fearful. She'd be happy when the new pack doctor showed up. He'd been hired, and some of his stuff had even been delivered to the new house built for him, but he had things to do before he could complete his move.

Mel understood. She was still finalizing her move and hadn't even owned her home. It was packed full because she was a bit of a pack rat. Adam understood possibly two well since she feared that now that he was in a position to own things, he might be as bad as she was. She still took on projects for Joey, but now it was just select projects that took maybe one day a week. Mel had set up a shop nearby, and several girls worked for her. They made different kinds of clothing. They had an Internet site where they sold more expensive clothing like prom dresses and wedding dresses. The business was doing remarkably well.

Mel had finally found her place, and she could tell that Adam also felt like he had. They had their new pack, each other, and a child on the way. What more could anyone ask for?

Book 4

Call of the Wilde

Naqi's brother, Hanta, was a hermit who rarely showed up in Wilde. Why did he have to show up now when Tracy was in town? All she wanted was to go back home to Arkansas, but he wouldn't let her go.

His heart stopped beating for a second as he saw the beautiful female in front of him. Hanta was in the trading tent with his furs getting the money that he needed for the rest of the year when he saw her. She was with Joey, Naqi's mate, and seemed to be shopping. When he finished trading his furs, he went to her and threw her over his shoulder and took off ignoring the screams behind them.

Will his caveman tactics deprive him of his fated mate or will he hide her away long enough to get her to give in?
