12. Minos

Iburst into the room. My mask was firmly in place. Harper was covered in blood. Seeing her like this made me want to fuck her, but she hadn't earned the right yet.

My brothers and I watched as she exacted her revenge. Erebus and Charon were enraptured. A behavior I expected from Erebus, but Charon was a surprise. My usually reserved brother whipped out his dick and jerked off while she fucked her boyfriend's throat with his own cock. I'd left after that, racing to catch the end in person, and missed it by a minute. I heard her say ‘you're welcome' and laughed when Thanatos said she bowed. The fallen angel had spark. One we'd stoke the flames of.

"Congratulations. You've survived thus far," I said.

Harper Leigh glared at me. Her gray eyes lit like a California wildfire. "Can I go now?" she snarled, running her bloodied fingers through her hair. She was a beautiful mess.

"Not yet. There's still one more game to play," I smirked. She couldn't see it under the mask, which made it even more exciting.

Groaning, she retorted, "What the fuck else can be left? I didn't kill Viola. She was my best friend–the only true one I had."

I believed her. We all did. At first, when she'd pushed Adeline, I'd thought it was out of jealousy. That notion changed when her whispered confession sounded through the speakers in the control room. She didn't know we could hear even the slightest pin drop with the amount of mics and cameras outfitted in each area we led them through. That might be what got her out of here alive.

"If you can make it back to the gas station you passed when you arrived, we'll let you go."

Her lips thinned before she schooled her features, but she couldn't hide the hope and determination in her gaze. "So, I just need to get to the station? Nothing else? That's it?" She smartly questioned.

"All you need to do is run and try not to get caught," I stated.

Harper huffed, crossing her arm. "Like a game of tag," she mumbled.

"Freeze tag, if you will. Don't get caught, or you'll be at the mercy of your captor. They will decide what your punishment will be," I explained. "Oh, and Harper, no weapons. You automatically forfeit if we find you have anything from in this house."

Throwing her hair up in a messy bun, she clenched her teeth and scowled. "Fine! How long do I have?"

"You get a ten-minute head start. Make it back through the house and then the woods on foot. Do that, and you can leave." I lifted my hand and looked at my watch, waiting for the second hand to tick on the twelve. "But whoever catches you first gets to fuck you."

She prepared herself to run. Loosening up, she stretched and wiped the excess blood from her hands onto her pants.

"Your time starts," I began, waiting three seconds. "Now!"

Harper zipped past me, darting into the hallway. I enjoyed the view until she disappeared from sight before I shot a text for my brothers to meet me outside. We'd get there before she did. Backtracking was an indirect route to the front of the mansion.

Stepping outside, I inhaled the Louisiana fall air and headed for the woods. It was chilly since it was night. The perfect weather for a hunt. Once the blood started pumping, I'd welcome the cooler air.

I met my brothers as they stood on the hill outside the copse of trees. "Everything ready?" I inquired.

"All set," Charon responded.

"Perfect," I nodded.

It wasn't long before Harper Leigh appeared. The heavy sound of her footsteps grew louder as she approached. She didn't pause to take us in until she was at the entrance to the forest. She peered up, and my nostrils flared. I smelled her fear from here. Our imposing forms atop the hill, staring down like the four horsemen of the apocalypse, ready to end her world as she knew it. Harper glanced a moment longer before sprinting into the trees.

"God, her ass looks fantastic," Thanatos moaned, gripping his dick, and we all hummed our agreement.

We discussed the final parts of our plan when the alarm, signaling her ten-minute head start was up, went off.

"It's time," I commanded.

We took off down the hill in different directions. Erebus was the last person I heard before I ran out of sight.

"Run, little nightmare. Your demons are coming."
