Ivy Lawson is back in New York City planning a red-carpet charity event for Sparks Wellness. She jumped at the chance to lead the project, even though it means spending a few weeks away from home — and from her grumpy lodge owner, Holland Holt.

Although life has changed since her fateful stay at The Emerald Canopy Lodge, Ivy still cant shake the feeling that if something can go wrong, it will.

Meanwhile, Holland is back at the lodge, dealing with his own challenges, including a life-changing decision he needs to make. He's been keeping it a secret from Ivy, which has only made things more difficult.

Just before the charity event, Ivy and Holland manage to spend a few days together, but a severe snowstorm hits, bringing ice and chaos. What can be salvaged? And what will be lost?
