Vicious Chapter 2

I was in a staring battle with Daredevil, and I had no intention of losing it or backing down or away. I wasn't doing anything yet. Sure, maybe I was holding on to her hand longer than he thought necessary, but the hell with him. I wasn't acting any differently than he had when he met Shain. In fact, I was behaving better.

He glared daggers at me, and his eyes kept dropping to where our hands were still connected and then back up. Eventually, she was the one to pull away, but I consoled myself with the certainty that she did it reluctantly. I was surprised he didn't say something more, but I would've had a response ready if he had. I respected him, but I wasn't afraid of him.

Shain was saying something to Micaela, which allowed me to stand there and let what had just occurred sink in. I'd been late getting off work. I knew Daredevil's sister was due today, and everyone planned to wait at the clubhouse to meet her. I intended to do the same, but I had been running behind and needed a shower before I went over. I knew it would take a while for them all to be introduced. We were a lot to take in all at once.

When I entered the back door and made my way to where I saw Daredevil standing in the middle of the common room, I hadn't seen her at first. Ashes and Dragon were in the way. As I moved around them, I caught sight of her and had to catch myself so I wouldn't stop dead in my tracks. I almost did because standing there, like a drop-dead gorgeous angel, was a woman I'd give anything to get to know.

She had the same golden skin coloring and green eyes as her brother. They reminded me of emeralds. She was on the petite side, especially when compared to my six-foot-two-and-a-half self. She was five foot three or so. Looking at her, I saw her mom and dad in her, and the rest was maybe her ancestors. Her hair was long like mine and a dark brown with caramel highlights. Caramel was the color that came to mind when searching for one in my artist's brain.

Her face was perfectly proportioned with a small, straight nose that was slightly upturned on the tip. Her brows were arched and dark, and those eyes were framed by long, thick dark lashes. Her mouth, to top it off, was to die for. They almost didn't look natural, but I'd bet money they were just like the ones that hot actress had. The one everyone talked about with those DSLs, dick-sucking lips. I had to fight not to think about her using them on me. As if above her neck wasn't eye-catching enough, so was the rest of her.

I preferred women to be on the meatier side. I was into having things I could grab onto. She had them in spades. Her breasts were huge. I'd be shocked if she wasn't a double D or bigger. She had on shorts, and her toned yet thicker thighs made me want to see her undressed. I almost asked her to turn around so I could check out her ass. If she had one as the rest of her body suggested, I might have to drop to my knees and give thanks right there in front of everyone.

I itched to get my pad and pencils and start drawing her. Drawing was how I de-stressed, and I was partial to drawing people's likenesses. Along with this overwhelming desire, I was suddenly more than looking forward to the next month. It wouldn't take me longer than a month to know if there was more than sexual attraction between us. I was trying not to get my hopes up there was, because it would be devastating to assume, only to find out it was me just reacting to her as someone I'd like to fuck.

Daredevil had moved his eyes off me and glared off to my side. Shifting my eyes there, I was caught off guard. I found Ashes and Dragon still beside me. They were having the same visual battle with Daredevil that I'd had. What the hell? Don't tell me they'd put the moves on her. If they had, I'd have to be sure to tell them I was calling first rights, although who could blame them? Considering her whole package, I shouldn't have been caught off guard. Her beauty was enough to turn any man's head.

There was one thing I knew without a single doubt. If all it was were the desire to sleep with Micaela, she'd be hands-off. She was Daredevil's sister, and this fact made her off-limits for merely hooking up with her. However, if I discovered she was more than that to me, all bets were off. I'd go after what I wanted, and while I'd tell him, I wouldn't let him stop me. If there were a chance she might be the woman I'd be able to spend a lifetime and have a family with, no one had the right to stop me unless it was her.

I moved when she took a seat at an empty table nearby. Her family and Shain sat, too. Before anyone else could grab the remaining empty chairs, I snagged one, and so did the other two. I gave them a look that I prayed they'd understand meant to back off. The way they gave it back, I knew I was in for competition. That was fine by me.

I stayed there and ignored the warning gazes of Daredevil and my two closest club brothers. I knew it would only be a matter of time before she'd leave with her family to go to Daredevil's house. When it happened, I'd talk to Dragon and Ashes and clarify my position to them.

It wasn't until about two hours later I got my opening. The five of them had said their goodnights and excused themselves to go to Daredevil and Shain's new house to talk. When they did, I stood up and walked out of the clubhouse, headed for my trailer without saying a word to anyone. I knew I'd be followed. I barely got inside, closed the door, and took off my cut when there was a loud pounding on my door. Grinning, I waited a couple of heartbeats before I casually opened it. I hiked up a brow and wore a puzzled look.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked as I leaned casually against the doorjamb as if I had no worries in the world.

"Don't act like you don't know, asshole. Let us in. We gotta talk," Ashes said with a scowl.

"Asshole? Are you on the rag?" I asked.

"Fuck you."

"Come on, you know why we're here. I want to talk to both of you. Let us in, V," Dragon ordered. He wasn't scowling like Ashes, but he wasn't smiling either.

I thought about messing with them longer, then decided to get it over with. Stepping back, I waved for them to come inside. They did so quickly. I shut the door and went to the living room, where they'd stomped over and sat on my couch. I sank into my chair. I'd typically offer them a drink, but not this time. They might not be staying long.

"You wanted to talk, go for it," I told them.

"I want—," Ashes blurted out.

"You both—" Dragon said at the same time as Ashes. They exchanged glances.

"Why don't I go first?" I asked, then kept going without waiting for them to agree. "I'm calling first dibs on Micaela."

"Bullshit! I saw her first," Ashes snapped.

"Like hell you did. We both saw her at the same time, and I'm calling it," Dragon snarled, scanning him and then me.

"Like hell you are!" I growled.

For the next couple of minutes, it was a jumble of words none of us could follow as we kept shouting and talking over each other. Finally, having had enough, I let out a sharp whistle. They subsided but not happily.

"We all seem to want first rights. Why don't we go one at a time and explain ourselves? I don't think it's fair that one of you gets to pursue her just because you happened to go with Daredevil to get her. I wasn't able to get away from work," I reminded them.

"Well, I'm calling it because I'm interested in seeing if she might be the one. You two just want to fuck her, and you know Daredevil will kill you if you do that," Dragon jumped in to add.

"Like hell, I just want to screw her! I think she could be the one for me. I think it should be us asking her who she likes. Vicious is only looking for a piece of ass," Ashes added hotly.

"How is it you automatically assume you know what I'm after? I'll have you dicks know, I believe she could be the one for me, too. I'd never go after a brother's family member if all I wanted were to get laid," I informed them bitingly.

"Christ, are you two serious? You truly believe she might be the one for you?" Ashes asked incredulously. I heard a pleading note as if he was asking us to deny it. When neither of us said a word and nodded our heads, he groaned.

"Well shit, what do we do now? What if she ends up mattering to all of us? Do we tell her we all three want a chance and let her decide who she gives an opportunity to? If it ends up that person isn't the one, then she can choose another?" Dragon asked.

I wasn't willing to scare her off right out of the gate. I had no idea how at ease she was with men or anything else. After a minute or so of silence, I proposed a suggestion.

"Why don't we keep our mouths shut and give it a week? During this next week, we'll spend time getting to know her and letting her get to know us. Who knows, at the end of it, we might eliminate ourselves from the running. You're right. We'd never go there just for sex. At the end of the week, whoever still believes she might be the one for them will present themselves to her, but you can't do it alone if there's more than one of us. We go as a group and let her hear us out together." I added the last bit to stop them from taking an unfair advantage. I watched them mull it over. Eventually, they both sighed and then nodded.

"Fine, we'll do it your way, but no cheating. We can spend alone time with her if she allows it, but neither of you can take off work, so you get to spend all your time with her," Ashes warned.

"The same goes for you. If you're all in favor of the rules and our plan, raise your hands," I demanded. I was ready to get this over with and then get them out of my trailer. Usually, I'd love to spend time with them, but not tonight. All three of our hands went flying in the air.

"Alright, now what do we do about Daredevil?" Dragon asked.

We all groaned. Daredevil's glaring had told us we hadn't hidden our interest, and he wasn't about to let us freely pursue her, even if we were to promise we weren't interested in only sex.

"Try to stay away from him as much as possible," was Ashes' reply.

"Make sure to always go armed," was Dragon's.

I suggested, "I hope Shain keeps him so busy with wedding stuff and their honeymoon that he has no energy for anything else."

The last two made us all laugh. After coming to our mutual agreement, they didn't hang around long. As soon as they left, I got down to business. How do I keep my hands off her long enough to determine whether this was more than lust?
