" O h my, God," Faith said, beaming Destiny a smile. "That was so much fun!"

"I didn't think you liked to give presentations," Destiny said.

"I don't." Faith grinned. "But it was so much fun with you."

Destiny laughed. "It went well." She looked at Faith. "It did, didn't it?"

"Yes!" Faith laughed. "It went better than we'd practiced. Babe, the rocks were genius! Did you see them? They were stacking and enjoying every minute."

Destiny took a deep breath and slowly let it out. Faith couldn't keep her eyes off of Destiny. The excitement on her face made her glow. She was so beautiful.

"Let's get out of here," Faith said.

"To celebrate?" Destiny said.

"I know just the place." Faith grabbed the bag of rocks and her computer while Destiny fell in step beside her.

Fifteen minutes later they were at the small bar where they'd sung karaoke. They each got a beer at the bar and sat at the same table.

Faith held up her glass. "To Fields of Green."

Destiny touched her glass to Faith's and drank. "Do you feel like singing?"

"Not yet," Faith replied, setting her beer back on the table. "That was…amazing!"

Destiny grinned. "It was."

"They seemed interested the entire time we were speaking," Faith said.

"I thought so, too."

"I was worried for a second when the construction rep said he wouldn't want to go back to work after his break if he kept stacking rocks," Faith said.

"I was, too," Destiny replied, "until I saw he was kidding."

"It was such a good idea to bring the rocks and let them experience what we were talking about," Faith said, reaching over and squeezing Destiny's forearm.

Both of their phones pinged with a message.

Faith laughed when she saw the text. "It's from Monica," she said. "It's one word in caps: WELL?"

Destiny laughed. "I meant to text her when we finished. I guess she sent it to both of us in hopes of an answer."

"You text Monica back and I'll let Amy and my group know that it went well," Faith said. "I'm not going back to the office today."

They sent their texts and continued to replay the presentation while they drank their beers.

"The excitement on your face after David left us," Faith said, shaking her head. "You were glowing."

Destiny scoffed. "No way."

"So beautiful," Faith said softly.

"I couldn't keep my eyes off of you," Destiny said.

Faith watched Destiny slide her hand over and interlock their little fingers. "It's these suits," Faith said. They stared into each other's eyes for several moments and the desire to get Destiny out of her suit caused Faith to run her teeth over her bottom lip.

"We were in perfect rhythm, sync, or tune. Whatever you want to call it," Destiny said.

Faith covered Destiny's hand with hers. "We were. We are," she said quietly.

"Take me home with you," Destiny said softly.

"Are you sure?"

Destiny nodded.

It only took a few moments for them to finish their beers and get back into the truck.

"Will Amy and your workers still be there?" Destiny asked.

Faith shook her head and squeezed Destiny's hand. "No, they'll be gone."

"Good," Destiny said.

Faith glanced over at Destiny who now had the sexiest look on her face. Oh my God.

When Faith closed the front door to her tiny house she turned around and Destiny grabbed the lapels of her jacket and pulled her close.

"I love you, Faith Fields," she said softly, "and I'm going to show you how much."

The softest lips gently touched Faith's. Her heart was already beating wildly in anticipation, but this tender kiss almost brought her to her knees.

Destiny pushed the blazer off Faith's shoulders and tossed it onto the couch.

"Oh, no you don't," Faith said. "I've wanted to undress you all day."

Destiny turned around so Faith could ease the blazer off. Faith kissed her shoulder then her neck and stopped just under her ear. She knew how sensitive this particular spot was on Destiny's body. Who was she kidding, she knew all the most sensitive spots on Destiny's body, but maybe they would discover something new. They had revealed their fears and innermost thoughts since being trapped in the shack. Why wouldn't there be new discoveries here as well.

Destiny turned around and Faith eased the blouse over her head. She saw Destiny take a shuddering breath and waited.

Destiny slowly unbuttoned Faith's shirt, pulled it out of her pants, and eased it off her shoulders. "I don't know how much longer I can wait," Destiny said breathlessly.

"Then don't," Faith said. She reached for the front of her pants and slid the zipper down. She quickly stepped out of her pants. "Wait," she said to Destiny. "Let me do that."

Faith reached around Destiny and unzipped her skirt. She slowly pulled it down Destiny's hips and let her step out of it.

"My God, Destiny," Faith said, her voice hoarse with emotion. "You are even more beautiful."

Destiny's hands cradled Faith's face. "We are in this together, Faith," she said clearly. "From now on."

"Together," Faith replied. "Always."

Destiny pressed her lips to Faith's and this time there was no softness. This kiss was full of want, desire, and need.

Faith deepened the kiss, put her arms around Destiny, and pulled her close until their bodies were pressed together. She could feel the pounding of Destiny's heart where it touched hers. The heat and electricity flying through her body made her weak for a moment.

Faith pulled back and took a deep breath while staring into Destiny's eyes. "I love you so much," she stated.

"Oh, baby," Destiny said. "I love you."

Faith grabbed Destiny's hand and pulled them the short distance to the bedroom. She stopped at the door and reached around Destiny to unclasp her bra. "This bra is beautiful and I will appreciate how good it looks on you another time," Faith said with a sexy smile. "But now…"

"Get it off," Destiny said, raising a brow and unclasping Faith's bra. "Oh, Faith."

It used to unnerve Faith when Destiny would look at her this way, but not anymore. She felt beautiful under Destiny's gaze now. Yes, she was still vulnerable, but she trusted Destiny completely.

"I've missed you so," Destiny murmured.

Faith gently pushed Destiny onto the bed and slid her undies down her legs. She could see Destiny's desire glisten and couldn't wait to taste her love once again. Before joining Destiny on the bed she removed her own undies.

Destiny moved up the bed and Faith placed her hands on either side of her. She slowly lowered her head until their lips met in a searing kiss. Faith felt Destiny's arms wrap around her shoulders, pulling her down until there was nothing between their bodies but love.

Faith groaned and moved her thigh between Destiny's legs. She could feel the wetness from both of them and slowly began to move. Her hand found Destiny's breast and cupped it gently. The moan she heard from Destiny was pure music to Faith's ears. She tweaked Destiny's pebbled nipple between her thumb and finger to another chorus of moans.

Faith nibbled down Destiny's neck and they both panted for breath. "I want to keep kissing you, but…" Faith's lips trailed lower and lower until she took Destiny's nipple into her mouth and sucked gently.

Destiny arched her back and nearly came off the bed. Her fingers were tangled in Faith's hair causing the most delicious tingles throughout Faith's body.

"Mmmm," Faith groaned.

"Babe," Destiny groaned. "I need you."

Faith smiled against Destiny's chest as her hand slid down Destiny's outer thigh then up between her legs.

"Oh, God, yes!" Destiny groaned.

Faith whispered her finger up Destiny's center causing another loud groan as Destiny's hips bucked off the bed.

"Babe!"

"I've got you, Des," Faith said softly. She ran her finger through Destiny's slick folds and could feel her sink back into the bed.

"Mmmm," Destiny moaned.

Faith circled Destiny's swollen clit several times then found her entrance with one then two fingers. She pushed inside and heard the most beautiful moan echo around the room. Destiny raised her legs and dug her heels into the bed.

There was no way Faith was going to tease her in this moment. They'd both waited years to be this in love and this close again. She began to move in and out and it was Faith's turn to groan. Destiny's velvety center grabbed her fingers and Faith never wanted it to end.

Faith pushed her fingers in one more time and held them still as Destiny closed around her.

"Oh God, yes," Destiny groaned, staring into Faith's eyes.

Faith could see the orgasm flash in Destiny's eyes then she could feel it racing through her hand and the rest of her body.

Destiny's hands on Faith's face eased and she fell back on the bed. Faith couldn't take her eyes off of Destiny as they both struggled to breathe. How could she be even more beautiful?

"I know," Faith said, falling down beside her. She put her arm around Destiny and pulled her into her side. "Did you feel it?"

"Yes," Destiny said. She raised up and looked into Faith's eyes. "It felt like your heart was beating inside me."

Faith nodded. "I could feel your heart. Our love was wrapped around us."

Destiny smiled. "I've felt our love before, babe, but it wasn't anything like this."

Faith gently ran her fingers down Destiny's cheek. "It's new love," she said. "We're seeing those parts we left hidden."

"I'm not hiding anything," Destiny said. "Not anymore."

Faith felt Destiny's lips claim hers with intention. She closed her eyes and let Destiny's body wrap around hers. Faith could feel her everywhere.

Destiny pulled away and looked down at Faith with a sexy smile. She reached for Faith's hands and held them over her head. Faith could feel Destiny slide up her body.

"I've always loved this view," Destiny said.

Faith felt Destiny's thigh push between her legs and then she started to move. "You are so fucking sexy, babe," Destiny said, looking down into Faith's face.

Destiny kissed Faith again then grinned. "This is going to feel even better."
