16. Joaquin
Chapter 16
Joaquin
A slither of early morning light crept through the red velvet curtains and happened to land directly upon Joaquin's face – and he wasn't too impressed either.
‘ Urgh . What the fuck…' Joaquin muttered, attempting to turn away from the light as he wriggled around in bed.
The damage was already done though. Joaquin was now awake and there would be no going back to sleep. The reality was that after he and Cole hit the sack the previous night, the pair of them were fast asleep within minutes. The very second that Joaquin's head had hit the pillow, he felt himself drifting off into a deep, much-needed sleep. And as if a luxurious pillow and the finest bed sheets weren't enough, Joaquin was able to snuggle up to Cole's rugged, strong body.
But as Joaquin reached over to check the time on his cell phone, he realized that today was the big day. If everything went to plan, they would finally be confronting Katsen and putting an end to it all.
As much as Joaquin was determined to seal Katsen's fate, he also couldn't deny that he was nervous too. This was very real. There would be no going back – and Katsen was no fool either. If Katsen got wind that something was up, or even if it simply came down to being outnumbered, then Joaquin knew that this could be his very last morning on earth.
Jeez. Don't even think about it.
Good thoughts only.
Revenge will be sweet…
A slight grumble came from Cole, but as Joaquin peeked over, he could see that Cole was still very much asleep. Cole's naked body was covered by the finest bed sheet imaginable, and Joaquin could make out the large, muscular spread of Cole's back. It was hot. In fact, it was more than hot.
Joaquin felt his cock begin to harden as his eyes scanned up and down the outline of Cole's body, taking in the curve of his ass and the thick, strong shape of his legs too. Cole might have been long retired from professional sports, but it seemed like his natural genetics were more than enough to keep him looking like an athlete in his prime.
In an attempt to distract himself from his burgeoning arousal, Joaquin decided to send Jenna a message. Knowing the severity of the situation he was in, Joaquin wanted to make sure that his dear friend heard from him at least one more time…
JOAQUIN: Hey Jenna. Just wanted to say it was great to see you yesterday. You and the little pup seemed so happy together. You don't need me to tell you, but you've got this. That baby is so lucky to have a mom like you. Everything's going to work out just fine, you'll see. Keep on kicking ass, J.
Joaquin sent the message and then put Jenna on silent mode so he wouldn't get any notifications when she responded. Jenna had always been super-intuitive, so Joaquin figured that she might suspect something was up and fire a message back in response wanting the details.
The time for responding to Jenna would be tomorrow.
Today was all about seeing Katsen on his knees and pleading for his life.
But with the sun only just beginning to rise, there was still time to be filled before Joaquin and Cole could get to work. And with his eyes suddenly drawn back to Cole's hulking figure underneath the sheets, Joaquin had only one thing on his mind…
Joaquin slid across the bed and carefully lifted the top sheet up so that he could slide underneath it and get a clear view of Cole's body. And as soon as he was underneath, Joaquin felt himself overcome with even more lust for his big, strong protector.
He's so big.
That ass is good enough to eat too.
So, why don't I just take a little bite…
Joaquin whipped his briefs off and scooted down the bed toward Cole's perfectly sculpted ass cheeks. With his legs parted just a touch, Cole's butt was presented in just about the most perfect way imaginable. It was like a perfectly prepared meal just begging to be eaten.
Joaquin couldn't help but touch himself as he continued to eye up his man's perfect cake. But before he could get overly excited, Joaquin was reminded who was in charge…
‘Get your tongue in there,' Cole said, his voice sleepy but still full of its characteristically demanding timbre. ‘Consider it an early breakfast. And if you eat it right, I'll pay for extra pancakes later.'
Joaquin didn't need asking twice.
Before he knew it, he was pushing his face deep into the strongest but most supple cheeks, parting them, and then working his tongue like a pro. Joaquin had eaten ass before, but never a man's… and it turned out that his skill in that area hadn't mysteriously vanished either.
‘Fuck, that's the spot,' Cole growled, pushing backward and reaching back to pull Joaquin in closer. ‘Wank my cock too while you're down there. I want tongue and hand. And no excuses.'
Joaquin greedily continued to flick, suck, and slurp on Cole's rear while also taking great pleasure in manhandling his throbbingly hard manhood too. Soon enough, Joaquin had worked up such a strong rhythm that Cole was moaning and groaning in the purest of animalistic lust.
And as Cole shot his load onto the sheets and into Joaquin's hands, he swiftly turned and took Joaquin's achingly hard dick in his mouth.
Joaquin gasped in shock as he felt his own orgasm come incredibly quickly as Cole expertly gave him the kind of head that he had never experienced before. Joaquin came and came hard . And knowing that he was shooting his load into Cole's mouth made it all the more special too.
When they were both fully satiated, Joaquin and Cole lay on top of the sheets and allowed their bodies and minds to cool down. It might have not even been 7:00AM yet, but the pair of them were well and truly wide awake.
‘That was so good,' Joaquin said, wiping saliva from his mouth, the taste of Cole still very much on him.
‘Fuck. It was the best,' Cole replied, his sculpted pecs rising and falling as his breathing slowly returned to normal. ‘I guess formerly straight guys do know how to eat booty after all…'
‘ Pffft . Whatever,' Joaquin laughed.
The two of them were perfectly happy in one another's company. They could go from a long night asleep to the filthiest fun and then back to laughing and joking without taking a breath. And if this was any other trip to the city, then both Joaquin and Cole might have continued laughing for the rest of the day.
However this was far from a typical break in the city.
And both of them knew it too…
Later that morning, Joaquin and Cole walked into a quiet but classy restaurant over on the other side of town. A classic Italian place with smart but subtle furnishings, the smell and sound of the chefs working on the early morning prep hit them both as the entered through the front door.
‘What did you say this place was called?' Joaquin asked, looking around at the empty tables as they were carefully attended to by a couple of kitchen staff. ‘There wasn't a sign over the door, so…'
‘This, my boy, is Dante's Kitchen,' Cole replied, his voice calm but with a hint of caution to it. ‘And its owner, Dante Chiellini, was the man we saw with Katsen yesterday.'
‘Woah, what the fuck?' Joaquin gasped, suddenly on edge. ‘And we're just stepping in here, like this?'
‘We are,' Cole said. ‘And you'll soon see why…'
Joaquin could feel his heart thumping in his chest and the adrenalin coursing around his body as they waited for Dante Chiellini to make his appearance. This sounded like a risky play on Cole's part, but Joaquin had to believe that Cole wouldn't take any unnecessary chances. After all, they were never going to be able to kill Katsen if they were dead themselves.
‘Gentlemen,' Dante said, emerging out from the kitchen. ‘It's a pleasure. Cole, you come with a great personal recommendation from our mutual friend Jack Steel. Once an Ice Bear, always an Ice Bear.'
‘Indeed,' Cole replied, stepping forward and offering his hand to Dante.
Joaquin watched on as the two men shook hands. It was a firm, but friendly shake. Joaquin couldn't help but notice a bodyguard in the corner of the room, his eyes fixed on both him and Cole. This was the real deal. It was understated, it wasn't flashy, but it was very much a real mafia joint.
‘And you must be Joaquin,' Dante said, shaking Joaquin's hand and then guiding them over toward the table on the elevated level of the restaurant floor. ‘We have a lot to discuss gentlemen. This is a serious matter. And I need to be assured that you two are on the same page as me…'
Joaquin took a seat opposite Dante.
With his dark hair and penetratingly dark eyes, Dante was a serious man with a cold, calculating aura to him. Joaquin had spent plenty of time over the years with low level thugs, crooks, and hustlers. But Dante Chiellini was evidently cut from a very different cloth indeed. This was the big leagues. And even though it seemed like Dante was on his and Cole's side, Joaquin knew that they would have to play their hand to perfection in order to be assured of Dante's help.
‘Now,' Dante said, greatly receiving an espresso from the kitchen hand. ‘Let's get down to business.'
Joaquin looked to Cole.
Cole looked to Joaquin.
‘Dante, we need Katsen out of the picture,' Cole said, his voice full of confidence but respectful too. ‘I trust that Jack filled you in on the situation in all its unpleasant detail.'
‘He did,' Dante replied. ‘And I trust Jack's word. Since our partnership with the Doni family at the Ice Bears began, he's been one of my main allies and we've developed a close relationship. As have our boys. And having heard what happened with you, Joaquin, I know that there's no way I could ever work with Katsen. In fact, it only confirmed my suspicions. So… the deed must be done.'
‘Agreed,' Cole said, taking a sip of his espresso and maintaining his balanced mood.
‘I have men with very specialist skills I can use,' Dante said. ‘Katsen will be wiped off this earth on my command.'
‘We need to be the ones to do it,' Cole replied. ‘And that's coming from Joaquin. This is personal. The boy wants to be the one to do it. What we need is a little help to facilitate that.'
Joaquin was watching for every single nuance and reaction that he could spot on Dante's face. But Dante Chiellini was an old hand and had been trained not to give away any clues as to what he was thinking or what direction he was leaning.
But Joaquin and Cole didn't have to wait too much longer for a decision from Dante.
‘I can see that you both want to take responsibility for this, and I appreciate that,' Dante said, his words slow and deliberate. ‘In another situation, I might not allow it. It's a risk. And if you fail, Katsen will become paranoid and that would make it harder for me to remove him. However . The nature of his crime against you, and that of his men, tells me that you will not fail. This is how it'll work. I will arrange a meeting. Which means my men and I will be present to begin with. You two will be given the location, the time, and the weaponry to make your strike. The rest is up to you. If the police were to find out about this, you're on your own. Understood?'
‘Understood,' Cole said, looking to Joaquin for confirmation.
‘Understood,' Joaquin added, knowing that this was the best offer they were going to get.
Suddenly, the magnitude of the situation was dawning upon Joaquin. But at the same time, nothing had ever felt so correct in his life. It was time to banish Katsen and his thugs to hell, and then hopefully move on to the next phase of his life alongside Cole.
This is it.
It's do or die.
And I've got too much life left to live to even consider dying now…
