I have to fight the urge to set one of those countdown clocks on my phone, telling me exactly how long it'll be before I see Aiyana again. It feels like when I was a kid, and Kat and I went on our yearly family cruise, or, at least, we tried to until Dad started using the money for alcohol. We'd mark up the calendar, counting down the days the entire summer until we finally got to go.
